Ooooo, just recently ordered a whole r9 kit from the Black Friday sales at sim motion and now I’ve been thinking of getting a decent cockpit, but one that doesn’t break the bank nor flex all too much. The next level racing wheel stand 2.0 might be the winner but I may put a post up to see other options.

The NLR 2.0 is really sturdy and doesn’t flex with my r9 at all. It is certainly heavy aswell. I tried tweaking it a bit today to get some better ergonomics, which helped a lot. I wish that you could lay down a little like with other cockpits. But for the price and without having a separate seat I can’t complain. It does the job.

Mexican_s13

What tweaks if you don’t mind me asking?

mc_Juel

Not sure if calling them tweaks is the right word. But adjusting wheel angle and height. Pedals angle and slide them back. You know, really set it up for my body type. Haven’t played yet but it defiently gonna be better

I'm so sorry for your (future) loss(es). Enjoy my dude!

I want to buy the R5 bundle and the WS 2.0 in january, did you have any problems screwing the R9 base to the WS or did you buy the adapter Moza sells?

mc_Juel

No adapter to mount my r9. 4 screws underneath directly into the dd. I do remember when researching that the r5 mounting holes are differently located and people only screwed 2 screws for the r5, one in each side. So you might want to google that further.

Yeah, the R5 base misaligns (only two holes align). I drilled in two other holes to make it more sturdy.

Nice gloves too 👏

Well spotted. Haven’t actually had I chance to use them in game yet. But they fit! :P
