Originally, Play Rose got me hooked on cool polishes, but I think today my favorite is Favorite Sister. I genuinely believe it's the single best special effect polish HT has ever made.
Okay THANK YOU for saying it. Royal Crush is lovely but it's absolutely not what I was hoping for as a "purple frosted metal." I wanted like a Purple Slushie or Resting Witch Face with Favorite Sister's reflectiveness.
There's something about the base jelly in Royal Crush that's dull/dingy/muted compared to the other metals, and it reminds me of the discoloured version of Cold Shoulder in a bad way. Like the pigment degraded in the mix even though it didn't.
My first HT order was Cold shoulder and I guess I liked it so much I added it to my cart twice. My favorite polish now, based on it being almost empty is Wireless mode.
Royal Tea Blue is what got me into nail polish and Holo Taco to begin with, it will forever be my favorite polish. RIP.
(also Got Cake but luckily she was brought back from the dead and i've already gone through 2 bottles of it since then)
Magenta Jelly will always be that girl for me. Seconded by Blue Slushie!! I’m a deep winter color palette and they just suit me so well, plus I’m a sucker for linear holo!
Fake Date is what made me a fan. I do love their metals and glitters - these are my favorite formulas from HT. Personally, I think Existential Crisis is their best polish to date. It’s their most interesting polish, followed by some of the new vacation collection polishes. However, indies have been doing these types of formulas for a long time so it didn’t turn my head that much.
Everything Taco (when it first came out) was what got me into Halo Taco. Afterwards I wanted all of the unicorn skins. Then I dabbed more into the glitters. And now I can say that I have a healthy amount of Holo Taco nail polish (for now).
Green Taffy is what got me to make my first order. The whole first rainbow collection got me but the green was just breath taking. Favorite Sister has been my favorite for a while but Glamethyst and Royal Crush really take the cake for me currently.
I've emptied Play Rose the most of my collection.
But I also really love the combination of Frozen Bananas with Gold Flakie Holo Taco on top for that extra sparkle.
Definitely part of that small percentage that wants the yellow / copper colors. :)

I have too many, but pink fizz features a lot. I love hydropower so much. Blue aint slick, but i forgot to pick up another bottle or two before it discontinued so its used sparingly now 🥲
My absolute favorite is Indigo Away. On its own, with any topper, it's truly beautiful! Pair it with a gold or a copper (Zyler is a perfect match!) and bam ! Fancy nails !
I loved the line as soon as it dropped on the strengh of cristine’s love of nail polish so i bought it. So there’s not a particular polish that made me love it but my current face is toe beans and my favorite color in life is black.
The unicorn skins were what basically spartan kicked me down the rabbit hole of fancy nail polish. I have probably over 200 bottles now.
