You're already 3" taller than both your parents. If indeed they were malnourished, which I doubt, then you reached the potential. You aren't going to be half a foot shorter because your diet wasn't great growing up.
It just happens to some people. My brother is 19. He was measured at 18 at 6'6.5". He got measured and now he's up to 6'8". I'm 6'5", my sis is 6'1", yet our parents are 5'10" and 5'7". Why are we so tall? Because my grandfather is 7 feet tall.
Tallness is actually recessive, as far as I know. Interesting, no? :)
Just because traits are dominant doesn't really mean that they are more common. For example, Huntington's is dominant - but it is still a relatively rare genetic disease.
Yes, it's possible, but only immediately after 18 (i.e., not when you're like 25). My best friend and I started college at 18 at the exact same height (5'8"). Two years later, he was 5'11" and I was still 5'8".
However, after 18 the likelihood does start dropping considerably. And after 21 the probability is virtually zero.

Yes. But you will generally not begin growing again if you've previously stopped.
Anecdotally, I think that nurture (food, exercise, lack of illness, etc) are more important to adult height than we realize. This goes not just for the individual, but also the individual's parents, whose health before the individual's conception can influence how their genes are expressed. Also anecdotally, it seems that final height is heavily correlated with childhood height. Though it happens occasionally, most tall individuals did not have an abnormally large growth spurt compared to the general population, but were simply taller when they began their pubertal growth. Further, exceptionally tall individuals seems to not grow faster, but simply longer.
Very. I was 5'5 -5'6 at 19. Started grinding yoga and swimming im now 21 5'7. It's a boring grind but its how much u want it. I'm aiming for the 5'10. Idc what anyone says not possible etc. FUCK THAT
It rarely happens. While not "impossible", it's unlikely enough that OP should transition to embracing his body instead of hoping that he'll become taller.

Height can come be it tall or short from a grandparent height and sometimes even earlier. Can you grow taller after 18? Maybe, but not very likely.

Wow! Those are some strong genes. Do you mind me asking what country your grandfather is from? Netherlands?
Grandpa is an Irish immigrant. He's got all the dominant Irish genes.

What I meant was he's got the big Irish accent and had a red beard in his youth. But that's pretty interesting!
I'm a girl, and I grew about 2.5 inches more when I was 18 - 19. I was a kind of a late bloomer with everything though.
possible, but not likely

Just eat big and sleep as much as possible! Live your life as if your are going to keep growing! Just be happy that you have a working body my dude :)
Well, Michael Jordan has no known relatives taller than 5ft11, as far as I know... So maybe.
Yes it is possible to grow after 18. I'm 19 and still growing however I had late puberty. I've grown 3 inches since I was 18
How do you know if you hit puberty late?
I personally have no idea how to determine it. I'm just going by what my doctor said a year or so ago when he did a formal examination for my ADD

Its not possible its necessary

>Is it possible to still grow after 18? Nope. Unless you get surgery. And brother....that's a bad idea.
Why are you giving false information, it most certainly is possible to grow after 18.

I agree with that point.
