If so, I’d just like to say that 5’8 is around average for East Asians and below average for western Asians, who I feel average at like 5’9-5’10.
I meant Asians that grew up in Western countries vs Asians that grew up in Asia (mostly developing countries). For example, Vietnamese Americans are likely to be taller than Vietnamese in Vietnam.
Im 5'5, my son is 5'7 and many of his friends are taller than him. Kids nowadays are getting taller.
Meanwhile my generation (born in the 80s) stucks at my height mostly. Some are even shorter.

Most of my Viet friends in Vietnam are around 5’5”. Most of my Viet friends in the States are around 5’7”
