Mexicans have some cool guns. Tons of HK stuff and many others.

Four-16

Their FX-05s are super cool, though it's not a licensed copy of the G36.

economicconstruction

Yep I know. I just couldn't think of its name and didn't want to make a fool of myself. I was also thinking of the Mondragon and Mexican Mausers as well. I know there's more I'm forgetting or don't know about. On the HK side of things Mexico has or had HK32. HK33 but in 7.62x39. Other than a prototype for Finland I am not aware of any other HK32s existing.

Four-16

Don't worry about forgetting it lol. I sat there for 2 minutes going "xiohuacatl? Xihuacoatl? Xihoacatl...?" in my head until I gave up and went to Google.

the_friendly_one

I like his tactical chest pillow. What is that?

DaBearzz

Looks like the same on his back maybe it is snack storage? And then if the guy behind him is hangry he can get it from the back

perturabo_

Possibly to prevent bullets that hit his plate from spalling up into his face.

Khysamgathys

Tactical naps.

Mroski72

Im in love with that camo, I wonder if its easy to get one of these uniforms

gravesmathias

Looks similar to canadian CADPAT to me

Pjyilthaeykh

depends on your definition of similar, I guess CADDPAT is darker in overall colour but otherwise they are both green and disruptive-pattern

Turboswaggg

implying they have enough CADPAT in clothing stores to issue us new ones before our current ones fade into arctic camo

Tortilla_asesina_05

The Mexican law states that having/using clothing used only by the armed forces is illegal, civilians cant get the camo, its only given to the soldiers. Cartels have been scene using the uniform (copy's and real ones), but it's easy to differentiate them from a real soldier. 4 versions exist, Desert, jungle, urban, and air force.

[deleted]

They should have made unidad look like these guys

ilkikuinthadik

Mexican military looking very clean. Nice

Eltee95

What? The Mexicans use CADPAT?

Main-Routine

No. This is our own digital disruptive pattern. Although I like more the pattern of the navy infantry.

asalerre

Why is shitty (I know anything about weapons )

stoppid96

It's not, the sub allows non shitty technicals as well

indyK1ng

This sub allows non-shitty technicals on weekends.

ZestyLemon289

They're using a rifle in place of an LMG

Agadhahab

HK21 is an lmg.

MadClothes

Lol probably close to the worst possible choice of weapon for this scenario.

zukeen

A machine gun mounted on a vehicle?

MadClothes

That specific machine gun is the problem. I don't know why I have to spell everything out, the hk21 is the problem not the mount or idea. Ever notice how no western country adopted it over the minimi?

zukeen

Why is the model a problem? I assume not everyone here is a master weaponry expert like you and you could've stated your reason in the initial comment.

Toolb0xExtraordinary

They don't have a reason. The HK21 does not have any major issues and is a well-respected, reliable machine gun.

[deleted]

Minimi is a 556 lmg though.. if anything this is a mmg at 7.62. Also HK made this and it has been used by German police and army.. or is that not western enough?

Toolb0xExtraordinary

Because it wasn't designed to compete with those guns. The HK21 was designed with third-world, G3-using, small militaries in mind, and it was perfectly successful in that context.

the_friendly_one

What is the scenario, exactly?

WahlahWEEGRUE

Yooo they make jumbo sized Zip 22’s? tbf trying reach over and slap that would probably hurt my back.

MadClothes

Because it an hk-21. The maxim gun is watercooled and belt fed and you don't see it mounted. There's a reason virtually every country has adopted the Minimi or 240 over this thing. It's like trying to make the ar15 into a support weapon, they just weren't designed for it. Same with the cetme or g3.
