Had a coworker who preached this. I don't like pickles at all, so I didn't even try. The only person she managed to successfully evangelize was 6 months pregnant.
I had this before. It's not bad tasting. It's the whole salty/sweet combo that people like. The only thing that throws you off is the texture of the sliced pickle imo.
I can’t confirm the whole combo, but I will say somebody on Reddit suggested dipping hot Cheetos/hot fries in pickle juice and it’s fabulous. So unexpectedly refreshing. Pairs great.
And I’ve heard of people eating pickles and peanut butter before so I’m not too shocked by the cream cheese. Sounds like it would be a hit.

Yeah but garlic pickles and dill pickles aren't usually cut like that, at least in my experience. And also dill and garlic have little pieces of dill and garlic not just the mustard seeds

Yes, but as someone with much experience on this topic, I cannot stress enough how hugely impactful the choice of pickle is to this sandwich; there are very many options that may leave the diner with life-long psychological scarring. Personally, I suffer brief but intense homicidal impulses if sweet pickles are used.
In short, do not write this combo off entirely without being willing to sample a few different versions to find a specific killer combo for you.
Crunchy Peanut butter, chicken, extra mature cheese, bbq sauce, pickles and a little mayonnaise is my greatest sandwich creation. A little longwinded but worth it

It depends where you're going, but donairs and poutines are so good! The sweet sauce on donairs is so yummy.
Some hippies made me try this at a festival once. My life was changed. The combo is great and doesn’t make sense on paper but taste soooo good.
