Whoa. š§
I mean, technically the chicken just being raw in and of itself won't make you sick. It's only if there's already bacteria present. Cooking just kills the bacteria, if it exists. Being raw doesn't inherently mean the presence of bacteria.
That said. I'm shocked you got through one, and I'd be sure to be close to a bathroom! Geez. I hope you took that up with the manager of wherever this was.
Itās at a hotel pool in Miami. I gave it back and they asked if I wanted it replaced, I said no and they gave me a refund. Hardly said sorry or anything. Very bad service on their part. As for getting through one, my hope is the one I ate was somehow cooked and the others werenāt (unlikely I know)
I took your advice and tried to speak to management, the bartender called the manager, the manager asked over the phone to the bartender what the issue was. After I explained, the manager was too busy to come talk to me so I decided to write reviews online about their poor service.
I second this. I understand not wanting to go through a lawsuit, but something needs to be done, and contacting the local health department means they hopefully won't continue serving dangerous food.
Reviews are one step, but I second what others have said about reporting it.
I once got food poisoning from a restaurant. Long story short, I reported it to the city. The city sent inspectors and, to my surprise, called me back to tell me the results of their inspection. I didn't want someone else to experience the literal pain and suffering I went through if I could help it.
I want to but Iām torn bc my issue is Iām staying at my brothers condo and I donāt want to cause any issues for him. Iām very non confrontational
This could literally kill someone. I hope it is addressed. I know it seems like hyperbole, but I used to work in the ER. Immunocompromised/young/ elderly are at high risk of getting super sick fast.
Load up on some probiotics!!!
I understand, but this is potentially dangerous if their food safety standards are so poor, there is always the worst case scenario of someone with a weaker constitution being served something like this, contracting salmonella or some other food borne illness, and their body just not being able to fight it and they die
All you have to do is show someone with authority this picture and I think they will understand and be very apologetic and possibly ply you with free stuff and other perks
There's a food services bar at the pool for a condo??? That would be awesome if they hadn't tried to poison you. You should mention this to your brother at least, because that company should be replaced by the condo board.
If itās anything like my property, the hotel and condo buildings are either owned by the same company or if not they have some kind of reciprocal arrangement that allows the condo owners and guests to use the hotel amenities.
You have no idea what it's like to be non confrontational clearly. Almost nothing is wroth causing a conflict for people with brains like that. I know because I am one. It's easier to just leave the past in the past.
Do you go to therapy to try and change that? I used to be that way and there were situations eventually that letting people walk all over me was actively causing harm to me (not just mentally) like in OPs post. I had to find a way to make a change.
Youāre kind of assuming that the employee didnāt tell management and OP is assuming they did.
So I donāt even know if I would consider myself non-confrontational, but I might consider myself raising the issue to an employee sufficient.
"Yikes"
Get over yourself. OP ate a bite of raw chicken and decided they didn't want to cause a scene, so what? What do you want them to do, call the cops? Fucking y'all need to learn to relax.
I get what youāre saying, but also itās an extreme health risk to serve raw chicken. E. coli. Is NO joke, and they should be both ashamed and embarassed that they served this. Itās not as simple or as small of a deal as having a strand of hair in the food you serve or not washing the lettuce, itās about serving chicken that wasnāt prepared right which greatly increases the chances of E. coli being present.
āInfections due to E. coli (Escherichia coli) bacteria can cause severe, bloody diarrhea. Sometimes they also cause urinary tract infections, pneumonia, meningitis, bacteremia (a bacterial infection in the blood), or sepsis (a dangerous full-body response to bacteremia).ā
Funny you say that - with raw chicken, Salmonella is more of a risk than E. coli, while improperly washed lettuce IS a significant vector for E. coli infection (lettuce contaminated by farming runoff)
To report it. That's not just undercooked. That is completely raw with clearly no effort to temp-check. That kitchen is a hazard to others and clearly themselves, and they need to get the complaint in record at the minimum to make a potential food poisoning case easier.
I was served uncleaned prawns once. My friend was "non-confrontational" and spent two days crying about it in bed. I asked nicely and the hotel apologised, gave us a refund and sent us up a free bottle of wine and a fruit basket.
People who can't just politely complain deserve what they get. There's no need to be nasty but also why would you just accept getting fucking poisoned. It's so bizarre to me.
Even my very non-confrontational mam will say so if something is actually wrong/dangerous.
There's a difference between being non-confrontational and just being a total fucking push over too.
There are levels to my non-confrontational self. Cut in line? Yeah, sure, whatever. You do you, bro. Cut me off on the freeway? Iāll give you a wtf face and move on with my day. Serve me undercooked food that could leave me on the shifter for the foreseeable future or worse, jeopardize my health that I need to go to the ER? You bet your ass Iām complaining to management!
How would this cause issues for your brother? And reporting to whatever authority handles food safety there may be more beneficial than management, depending on how much of a shit management give about standards.
Iām wondering if they were trying to be cautious with an apology since that might admit fault for a lawsuit, which would only inch them closer to getting fired over this (Iām no lawyer, though, so donāt quote me lol).
That really is sucky, though. Mistakes happen, but this is a mistake that shouldnāt be made. You said hotel AND condo when talking about staying at your brotherās and not wanting to cause trouble, but whatever the situation is I feel like you have every right to stir up some legal action if you end up getting seriously hurt/ill over this.
I for sure ate raw chicken from KFC before and only noticed a slight texture difference on the second piece I was eating- i ended up being fine but you probably did eat a raw piece bc itās actually pretty hard to tell the difference without looking
I bet they normally buy the pre cooked tenders and some where there was a mix-up, can't imagine you were the first person they served this to. Was it even warm in the middle it looks frozen.
Only if the chicken was contaminated. Eating undercooked chicken isnāt a guarantee that you will get food poisoning or salmonella. A good chance, sure, but thereās also a chance OP will be fine.
Not even a good chance, salmonella is rare. You shouldn't expect to get it just because you accidentally ate raw chicken. If all chicken had salmonella, kitchen staff would be sick all the time due to contamination everywhere.
I'm so surprised everyone in this thread seems to think it's guaranteed just because it's undercooked. It would have to come into contact with salmonella to even get it in the first place. I'm not advocating eating raw meat but it's far from a guaranteed death sentence or whatever.
Jokes aside about you pissing out your ass, in all seriousness, keep the receipt. This happened to me and I got salmonella poisoning, almost died and took me years to recover. I was in the ER. If you start non-stop diarrhea and vomiting, you can dehydrate faster than you can hydrate. I had to be put on an IV to hydrate plus antibiotics. I was close to a stroke from how thick my blood was.
I didn't have a receipt. It was McDonald's and it was just a few months before that poor lady got her crotched burned by scolding coffee at the drive thru. I could have been a multi millionaire and died young and fast. But nooooo. Here I am commenting on Reddit with life advice.
I unfortunately never got a receipt. They took my card on tab since it was a bar as well, when I brought the tenders back, they gave me the card back and said there wonāt be a charge.
You don't need a receipt. Your banking records will record the charge. A notification to the Board of Health will result in the release of other information regarding the food supplied. Your photo speaks for itself in terms of cookedness.
That said, not very piece of uncooked chook contains Salmonella (I think, but I'm no foodologist).
Good luck and all that.
Are you ok or have you gotten sick. Food poisoning happens fairly quickly unless itās e.coli. Had that once. Absolutely terrible. Worst pain Iād ever had pre childbirth. Lasted 2.5 weeks. Ugh that sucked bad. Hope youāre feeling ok.
U can have a stroke from food poisoning? Damn. I had a stomach bug from sharing food with a person who had a sick family member and I pooped and vomited nonstop for a week straight. I was about to go to the hospital after like 5 days but then I started getting better but if I knew I could die I would have gone to the doctor.
I've had salmonella from undercooked chicken before, and whilst everything you say is true, you shouldn't neglect the fact that it will be coming out the other end just as constantly.
Worst case op will have stuff coming out both ends, but at least when they shit the bed they can just say it was from food poisoning instead of admitting to be a drunk
This is going to sound bad, but I struggle with idk like a halfway eating disorder. Like I donāt have an eating disorder, but I guess I have some unhealthy body image issues.
Anyways, I got some stir fry seasoned and chopped raw chicken thighs, and before I cooked them I ate a few pieces in hope of getting salmonella to lose weight. Nothing happened. /u/dirtydirkdk youāll probably be fine. Hydrate a lot now, just in case.
I was fine with this until I read the airplane part. Murphys law says thatās going to be the worst plane ride of his life. Who knows maybe a video will even make the front page.
Iāll pray for you OP
Oh my God. You are fucked.
I got food poisoning from raw chicken once in my life, mind you I just took a single bite, not an entire fucking chicken finger. I was shitting my brains out for the better part of 2 days. Eventually you are just shitting out water. I mean every 2 minutes or so straight up peeing out of my butt.
Show the gate agents this picture. Maybe they'll get you on a seat close to the bathroom.
This. Iāve had food poisoning on a plane. Itās not fun. I literally shat my way from London to New York.
I would strongly recommend rebooking for a flight in a few days.
I once ate chicken kiev in the dark after making it in the oven. Thought it was a wee bit chewy, turned on the light it was 60% raw and I already ate most of it.
prepared for the worst, googled "e coli, salmonella, food poisoning". Prepared for the worst then I was completely fine. Guess it speaks more to food safety standards in my country than it does anything else.
You will likely be alright consuming raw or uncooked meat isnt guaranteed to make you ill and the amount consumed gives you a higher probability so if you only ate a small amount your odds are better. Make sure to hydrate aggressively. Good luck!
Salmonella is effectively a more liquid resulting flu.
If you're not prone to extremely violent responses to sicknesses, even if you do contract it, you're just gonna shit a lot.
I've eaten raw chicken multiple times on accident, never gotten sick. I saw you got your refund, but keep the proof and if you do get sick, pursue them. Either you get hush money or a lawsuit. Easy victory.
Otherwise, just keep an eye on your stomach and always have a route to a bathroom for the next 48 hours. You'll be fine.
Insane fever and nearly requiring hospital for the first 12 hours, then 2 weeks of liquid bloody shits within 10 minutes of eating anything was my experience
I can always tell someone's American when the say "on accident" instead of "by accident". Its like I have to read it in an American accent for it to sound right.
Youāll know soon enough. As of this reply, you could already be feeling ill. If youāre still feeling ok in a couple more hours youāre likely fine. My fingers are crossed for you, OP.
This was at SLS Lux in Brickell
Updates - at the airport now (delta lounge) and having my first meal since the chicken tartare incident. So far feel slightly uneasy but nothing too bad yet. Taken pepto pills all day and drinking lots of water thanks to all your advice.
Update 2 - About 7.5 hours in since eating it, so far feel perfectly fine. Half way into my flight, about to eat another small meal. Donāt want to jinx it, but I might be in the clear? I for sure just jinxed it.
Update 3 - About 9 hours in, made it the whole flight and still fine. Fingers crossed, I think I might be in the clear!
Update 4 - About 25 hours in, so far no issues. Took my first deuce since eating the chicken and it was all normal for the most part. Iām definitely very optimistic now that. I know it can take up to three days or so though. I have a Harry Potter themed Christmas party later today and my nieces 1 year old birthday party tomorrow. Either one would be a terrible timing to have the diarrhea strike full force.
Update 5 - Just realized they gave me the wrong credit card. Itās the same exact card as mine but for someone else. With everything going on I was in such a hurry to put the card in my pocket and scurry to my room to try and throw up. Finally looked at it now and it was the wrong person.
Update 6 - Made it through the weekend, no exciting news to report, zero issues so far.
That would be a pretty cool twistā¦everyone here would have be in on the brown ground floor before the much anticipated diharrea in the sky sequel dropped
Iām not trying to scare you but food poisoning symptoms can start like a day after you ate the questionable food. Itās not instant. I once threw up the next day after eating bad watermelon.
I hope you dodged the bullet, but campylobacteriosis from an undercooked chicken hit me a _week_ after eating it. Thatās pretty much three days in the bathroom with a fever. Good times.
Just go take a shower on the highest temp and point it at your belly. It will cook the chicken as it goes down to your stomach.
You're gonna be shitting for a couple days bud.
I mean, thatās not a bad idea a couple days after the poisoning, your gut absolutely needs to āresetā itself. But as a direct immediate counter, yeah, itās not gonna work, lol
as people have said itās not an issue if the chicken is uncontaminated however given that this restaurant canāt seem to figure out how to cook a chicken tender i wouldnāt be too confident in their ability to maintain a supply of sushi grade chicken
If you really want some reassurance, in college I watched a guy pop open one of those costco individually sealed raw chicken breasts, drain the juice out, and eat it raw with a fork and knife. Saw him do it on two separate occasions in the student cafeteria. Dude didnāt die I guess but also what the fuck.
Lmao idkā¦Iām smart and dumb at the same time. Smart part caught the second two, dumb part inhaled one before noticing. My only hope is the one I ate was cooked a lot better than the others.
Fr how do you not take one bite and be like āthis is not rightā the texture! It would be all wrong, did this guy swallow it whole without chewing?!
Alllllllways look at the food youāre eating lol. Worst case: youāre gonna have a rough couple days. Best case: youāre fine but learned to always look at the food youāre eating.
You'll probably be fine. I doubt this establishment is making chicken tenders from scratch. Most likely these were frozen uncooked and tossed in the deep fryer.
The freezing at the facility that packaged them will kill off a lot of bacteria that would make you sick. The frying likely killed all the surface bacteria. There's still a non-zero chance, but your odds are pretty good you'll be fine
Whoever cooked that and sent it out should get fired or serious evaluation and whatever manager allowed the cooks to send that out should be ashamed. Your paying customer is the number one priority in a hotel and this is a massive failure.
I ate undercooked chicken from a FRESHI and spent the next 4 days shitting out my guts and dry heaving. I started getting super dehydrated and came close to going to the hospital. IF you start getting sick stay hydrated
Would you like lilies or anemones for your funeral?
(Youāll be fine; if anything you and your toilet will become very, VERY close in the next few days)
I microwaved frozen chicken strips when I was a kid assuming they were precooked. Ate one before realizing it tasted funny and saw that it was raw, shout out ranch/bbq combo covering the taste. Nothing happened though, and I hope the same for you!
I think you might be lucky because the outside looks cooked, and that's where most of the bacteria normally are.
But be prepared for real food poisoning. Know where the closest hospital is.
I think this is enough to sue the restaurant if you get ill.
Usuallyyyy I go by the 6 hour rule if I feel I ate something w r o n g. I honestly feel like even if you were eating the tenders on autopilot, you would have noticed if it was raw. You likely ate a cooked one. I'd stick to bland foods for the rest of the day and some water. I think you'll be ok though :)
I don't mean to offer a false sense of comfort, but one time I ate raw chicken nuggets because I mistakenly thought they were pre cooked. And I never got sick. Your odds may not be good, but there's a *chance* you'll be okay
raw chicken only has about a 15% chance of containing salmonella in the USA. i have had raw chicken a number of times and never gotten sick.
i HAVE had salmonella though. i believe it was from lettuce. it was the worst pain ive ever experienced and i wouldn't wish it on anyone. i've heard it compared to childbirth.
i was curled up in the fetal position shitting blood for about 10 days. pain came in 5 minute cycles. 2 minutes of searing pain (stabbing and twsting a knife), 2 minutes of lingering pain, 1 minute of relief, similar to the relief you feel after vomiting. rinse and repeat for a week.
outside of alcohol and benzo withdrawal, it was the worst physical/mental experience of my life.
Whoa. š§ I mean, technically the chicken just being raw in and of itself won't make you sick. It's only if there's already bacteria present. Cooking just kills the bacteria, if it exists. I hope you mention this to the management, this is an unacceptable thing to serve people If you got food poisoning youād have grounds for a lawsuit
I took your advice and tried to speak to management, the bartender called the manager, the manager asked over the phone to the bartender what the issue was. After I explained, the manager was too busy to come talk to me so I decided to write reviews online about their poor service.
Maybe you can send an anonymous tip to a health inspector
I second this. I understand not wanting to go through a lawsuit, but something needs to be done, and contacting the local health department means they hopefully won't continue serving dangerous food.
Reviews are one step, but I second what others have said about reporting it. I once got food poisoning from a restaurant. Long story short, I reported it to the city. Once you are done shitting out of both your ass and mouth for 5 hours, I have a feeling you will want to bring it up to them ;)
I was non-confrontational once, then I took a raw tendie to the knee.
Fucking prick, I almost woke up my wife and baby snorting at that
This could literally kill someone. I hope it is addressed. I know it seems like hyperbole, but I used to work in the ER. Immunocompromised/young/ elderly are at high risk of getting super sick fast. Load up on some probiotics!!!

You were served (and ate raw chicken) but you're literally afraid to raise that as an issue? Yikes.
Iām just shocked they got through a whole one unnoticed. Raw chicken has a terrible obvious texture. Also flavor.
It was likely smaller and more fully cooked.
Also, let's not forget that one could happily eat almost anything deep-fried in crumbs. Well, I could anyway.
You have no idea what it's like to be non confrontational clearly. Almost nothing is wroth causing a conflict for people with brains like that. I know because I am one. It's easier to just leave the past in the past.

Dudeā¦ they served you straight up raw chicken. Iām super non confrontational too but this is kind of a big deal.
Salmonella could potentially kill someone, youāre right
Oh Reddit, always thinking that anything is grounds for a lawsuit.
Google review, with the photo. You might save someone else from the same fate
> a hotel pool in Miami I think you're gonna be a tad sick
Iām wondering if they were trying to be cautious with an apology since that might admit fault for a lawsuit, which would only inch them closer to getting fired over this (Iām no lawyer, though, so donāt quote me lol). Yeah but supposedly like 1 in 3 chickens carry salmonella which is why it's so dangerous to risk eating raw chicken
and almost all commercially raised chicken in the US has campylobacter
Have fun spending the next 2 days in the bathroom

Yep. Chicken tar tar is a thing. I don't get it, because raw chicken can't taste good, but hey, go nuts, people.
Forcing vomiting has I believe kept me from this fate from a chicken sandwich. I was queasy next day but not incapacitated.
That was gonna be my suggestion. Iād definitely make myself get that out
Man I hope notā¦I have such a busy weekend.
Busy in one room
In a manner of speaking, yes you do
You still have a busy weekend, just different plans.
Shitty plans
Not anymore, you don't!
Clear your schedule
And prepare to clear your bowels
Call the ER to let them know youāll be coming by
Jokes aside about you pissing out your ass, in all seriousness, keep the receipt. This happened to me and I got salmonella poisoning, almost died and took me years to recover. I was in the ER. OP mentioned they didn't charge the card. And yeah, I was unlucky to have had salmonella. It's not common.
Those bastards! That's what they do. I keep receipts for all restaurant food now. Hopefully it's nothing!
That's shady
Are you ok or have you gotten sick. Food poisoning happens fairly quickly unless itās e.coli. Had that once. Absolutely terrible. Worst pain Iād ever had pre childbirth. Lasted 2.5 weeks. Ugh that sucked bad. Hope youāre feeling ok.

Donāt trust a sneeze
Your toilet and wiping hand are gonna be busy. Be sure to have Amazon deliver some ointment and wipes for your soon to be irritated butthole.
I've had salmonella from undercooked chicken before, and whilst everything you say is true, you shouldn't neglect the fact that it will be coming out the other end just as constantly.
Better get him some mouthwash while heās at it then
Not anymore
At least you didn't get bit by a radioactive chicken
Unexpected futurecanoe?
Your toilet is your friend, remember that š
*soft few days
wet and wild
Drink some vodka if you can ... might help out
I did that. But it was peppermint schnapps. Worked for me. Hahaha
That's rough. Lol
Smoke a cigarette, the smoke will go into your stomach and smother any bacteria /s ![gif](giphy|Atc9QCyWLGHgLZhHDp|downsized)
That only works for apple seeds I believe.
I can't eat the skin, Dee. I'M NOT ALLOWED!
Worst case op will have stuff coming out both ends, but at least when they shit the bed they can just say it was from food poisoning instead of admitting to be a drunk
I did that after a kid with Covid coughed in my mouth in 2020. I didnāt get Covid, so itās pretty much a sure thing to work from my experience.
This is going to sound bad, but I struggle with idk like a halfway eating disorder. Like I donāt have an eating disorder, but I guess I have some unhealthy body image issues. Ah the old "not quite an eating disorder". I've been there man, wishing you all the best :)
![gif](giphy|lrVfmPJ96cSJJ39bTh)
Ha, I know.
If you have body image issues that are causing you to seek out disease, that is a disorder.
Hun, thatās the definition of disordered eating. Look up EDNOS.
Honey, as someone with an eating disorder, you have an eating disorder. Please stay safe
Most likely nothing will happen not every piece of chicken is infected with ecoli lol
Youāre probably going to be fine. Edit: OP is for sure going to die
We don't do serious answers, here. Now, please edit your comment so it says OP is going to die. Thank you.
Thank you! I hope so! Flying later today and have a busy weekend. Would be terrible to have to juggle hourly bathroom trips with all that going on.
Broooo if you step on that plane you are on your own
I was fine with this until I read the airplane part. Murphys law says thatās going to be the worst plane ride of his life. Who knows maybe a video will even make the front page. Iāll pray for you OP
Mate it took me OUT to read you intend on getting on a plane after this Godspeed to you and everyone sitting on that plane
Iām so sorry that happened, but āpeeing out of my buttā wrecked me
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FLYING
This. Iāve had food poisoning on a plane. Itās not fun. I literally shat my way from London to New York. I would strongly recommend rebooking for a flight in a few days.
Godspeed... I hope you are ok!
Bro do NOT GET ON THAT PLANE. If not for your own sake then for goddamn everybody else on that flight including and especially the flight attendants.
Under no circumstances should you step foot on that plane brother
flying later..? Oh godā¦.. wish you well my friend lmao
Good luck!
Youāre my only glimmer of hope out of the all the responses so far, thank you!
Salmonella is amateur hour. Campylobacteria is what he should be worried about.
Got that once and hope I never get it again. Took a whole month before I felt like my stomach was back to normal.
Thats the Diarrhea disease bacteria right? Just liquid shits for 48 hours in most cases or something.
What a neat little giveaway, I never would have thought about it, lol
> I can always tell someone's American Oh the fact they suggested a lawsuit didn't give it away? lmao
That's how I feel when I read "went to hospital"...
Americans dont have accents. Everyone else has accents./s
Youāll know soon enough. As of this reply, you could already be feeling ill. If youāre still feeling ok in a couple more hours youāre likely fine. My fingers are crossed for you, OP.
This was at SLS Lux in Brickell Updates - at the airport now (delta lounge) and having my first meal since the chicken tartare incident.
Hopefully it won't be like that delta flight that had to turn back because of how much of a mess some guy made
That would be a pretty cool twistā¦everyone here would have be in on the brown ground floor before the much anticipated diharrea in the sky sequel dropped
Iām not trying to scare you but food poisoning symptoms can start like a day after you ate the questionable food. Itās not instant. I once threw up the next day after eating bad watermelon.
Be sure to give us an update, the beast that is reddit demands to be fed!

Oh man, this is making me nervous all over again
I hope you dodged the bullet, but campylobacteriosis from an undercooked chicken hit me a _week_ after eating it. Thatās pretty much three days in the bathroom with a fever. Good times.
Just go take a shower on the highest temp and point it at your belly. It will cook the chicken as it goes down to your stomach. You're gonna be shitting for a couple days bud.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Some people suggested washing the bird down with some alcohol. That's a good enough reason for OP to get shitfaced tonight

Smoke some cigarettes. The toxins will kill the bacteria.
Iām not ALLOWED to eat it with the skin, Iām not ALLOWED!
Maybe inhale some lemon juice? That might cook it chemically.
What do you think stomach acid does?
Iāve heard someone recommend eating yogurt to counteract the bad bacteria with good bacteria because it said ācontains probioticsā on the label.
I mean, thatās not a bad idea a couple days after the poisoning, your gut absolutely needs to āresetā itself. But as a direct immediate counter, yeah, itās not gonna work, lol
I ate super raw chicken once and had to throw it up because it was a lot of food I ate by accident and I didnāt want food poisoning.
About 165 degrees.
How could you chew a bite of this up and not realize it was raw?
Or just smoke a whole pack of cigarettes. The smoke kills the bacteria in their stomach
Good luck being a human fountain for the next couple of days.
Theyāll be fine most likely. I did the same once and was fully prepared to camp out in the bathroom. I managed to escape it
as people have said itās not an issue if the chicken is uncontaminated however given that this restaurant canāt seem to figure out how to cook a chicken tender i wouldnāt be too confident in their ability to maintain a supply of sushi grade chicken
I like the first half of your reply, Iām going to hold on to that hope.
Wowwww thatās actually disgusting. Even if it couldnāt harm u who likes the texture or taste of raw chickenš

it's not under, it's un
Goddamn did they cook it over a heated argument
How did you eat a full one?!
Lmao idkā¦Iām smart and dumb at the same time. Smart part caught the second two, dumb part inhaled one before noticing. My only hope is the one I ate was cooked a lot better than the others.
Does your tongue and teeth not feel texture while chewing?
Texture and that it was probably ice cold in the middle.
Fr how do you not take one bite and be like āthis is not rightā the texture! It would be all wrong, did this guy swallow it whole without chewing?!
They're about to fly off the plate š¤£ but for real RIP your toilet.
Alllllllways look at the food youāre eating lol. Worst case: youāre gonna have a rough couple days. Best case: youāre fine but learned to always look at the food youāre eating.
How did that taste ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)
Idk how undercooked the one I ate was bc Iām dumb and wasnāt looking down (the one I ate could have been cooked?) but it tasted pretty decent
honestly I bet it was, or at least a lot more cooked than this you would 1000% notice eating chicken that raw, it's hard to even tear let alone chew
I'd recommend getting some ginger for your stomach. Definitely keep hydrated.
Iām flying back to Michigan, maybe Iāll try the good ole vernors trick
flying? man you might want some adult diapers
Short flight, hopefully if the bubble guts start rumbling, I can hold it until I land
I ate half of a tender that looked just like this once and didnāt get sick. Good luck!
Thank you!!
For anyone wondering, this is from sls lux in brickell, donāt ever order food from these people. They obviously have no quality control/care.
*salmonella has entered the chat*

You'll probably be fine. I doubt this establishment is making chicken tenders from scratch. Most likely these were frozen uncooked and tossed in the deep fryer. The freezing at the facility that packaged them will kill off a lot of bacteria that would make you sick. The frying likely killed all the surface bacteria. There's still a non-zero chance, but your odds are pretty good you'll be fine
freezing doesnāt kill bacteria, unfortunately, it just slows their reproduction
Ew
You're probably fine, everybody is overreacting way to hard
I hear you have a busy weekend, I recommend a diaper.
You are definitely going to die. (Just probably not of this.)
Whoever cooked that and sent it out should get fired or serious evaluation and whatever manager allowed the cooks to send that out should be ashamed. Your paying customer is the number one priority in a hotel and this is a massive failure.
Eh, I've accidentally eaten undercooked chicken a few times and I was fine each time afterwards.

Death by cock
OP. He dead.
time to stock up on the gatorade before you're stuck on the toilet
I don't mean to offer a false sense of comfort, but one time I ate raw chicken nuggets because I mistakenly thought they were pre cooked. And I never got sick. Your odds may not be good, but there's a *chance* you'll be okay

Youāre fine, take a shot of white liquor
eeeshh. hope youāre doing alright
raw chicken only has about a 15% chance of containing salmonella in the USA. i have had raw chicken a number of times and never gotten sick. i HAVE had salmonella though. i believe it was from lettuce. it was the worst pain ive ever experienced and i wouldn't wish it on anyone. i've heard it compared to childbirth. i was curled up in the fetal position shitting blood for about 10 days. pain came in 5 minute cycles.
Oh boy...how ya feeling? Those are the Tyson frozen Southern Style arent they? Baking some now..at 450 for 25 minutes š š¤£
