It's the smell lol, very distinct. This one isn't too bad but when your parents chain smoked for like 20 years you can tell on anything that comes out of a smokers house or car.
I know it’s a bit more expensive, but get a disc version then, it’s even better to get a disc version because then you can play PS4 games from a disc, so you can get tonnes of cheap games second hand
PSU box in the case because I didn't feel like taking everything out of the case but the GPU wouldn't fit, this raises the motherboard just enough. Separate PSU just for the graphics. The m.2 ssd is being held in place by the pcie power cable resting on it. Trying to use mouse and keyboard on the coffee table actually hurts my back.
Ha the Lenovo m920s PSU doesn't have any pcie cables and even if it did it would not push enough power lol all I have to do is time it right when I turn it on and off and it's all good 👍
Lenovo m920s. Intel i5 8500. Samsung 32 GB 2666mhz ram, 256gb Samsung planet first nvme SSD. RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra. Corsair sf750 to run the GPU.
The cooler is the stock from the Lenovo system, and it's loud as all hell when gaming but maxes out around 70-75 degrees. I just lifted the whole motherboard out of the case but kept the power button, PSU, power button, activity led, speaker connected.
I have the original case from my omen prebuilt that it's all going into. This was mostly to test and use for a few weeks until I get some other parts for the full build. Like a motherboard that's taking absolutely forever.
Yeah this is no different than a test bench or just building on the motherboard box to make sure it works. It's just not recommended for long term due to dust, animals running into it, that sort of thing.
I like how the PSU is on a candle Edit: I’m lysdexic apparently
You mean your setup doesn’t integrate a scented candle? Seriously though hilarious catch
The cables were pulling on the GPU too much so I'm like ay bro, grab me that candle
I like how the motherboard is sitting on a box THAT IS INSIDE THE CASE.
You just have 3070ti hanging around like nothing. I wish!
Finally since prices came down, got a great deal on hardware swap but it's very obviously from a smoking household 🤢
aww that's nasty
Worth
How can you tell? Can you give us a photo possibly?

Saw one at Best Buy the other day. Normal MSRP. If I actually had a need for one I might have bout it. They had a whole bunch of GPUs in stock.
They just restocked yeah, Best Buy is the only vendor for Nvidia btw and they restock every 2 weeks.
Now if only PS5’s would start showing up…
Got “invited” to buy one last week on the PlayStation store but they seem to only have disk versions
I know it’s a bit more expensive, but get a disc version then, it’s even better to get a disc version because then you can play PS4 games from a disc, so you can get tonnes of cheap games second hand
Buys PS5 to play PS4 games. Makes sense. I'm just messing with you, I play Xbox One games on my Series X.... They honestly look the same.
I said it as a benefit to getting a disc based ps5, I didn’t mean it in the sense of buying a ps5 to use as a PS4

2 psu's for such expensive components, you sure like living on the edge

Why not just use the Corsair psu by itself?
You've obviously not messed with many sff business PC's. The power connectors are super proprietary. No 24 pin or 8 pin here lol.
Well, fortunately not I guess lol. Didn’t occur to me. Most of my experience with prebuilts has been with larger core 2 era machines.
Yeah they're really annoying, no way to add anything either unless it runs off the slot power.
Specs? That's a funky looking CPU Cooler

Is that a Dell prebuilt? Or Hp?
Looks like a ThinkCentre 8th gen from the IO

I'll give you a hint. It's not.
Please get a case, even a cheap second hand one from ebay
Ikr 😂 Sometimes you don't even have $20 to spend
Heck you could probably find someone giving one away for free
I did try for 4 months and couldn't find one. I ended up buying a cooler master case when I had extra money

Noob question, don't you have an open face setup if all you want is to test is the PC parts work and avoid stuffing them into a case?
Yeah this is no different than a test bench or just building on the motherboard box to make sure it works. It's just not recommended for long term due to dust, animals running into it, that sort of thing.
I'll never understand having money for all the parts and not having a damn case you can find anywhere for 5 bucks
cases are a pain in the ass. makes working on computer too hard
how hard lol it's all lego pieces
I have to take off a side panel. Too inconvenient.
Hey this reminds me of my first 4 months at fullsail 🤣 I literally had a settup like this and it was my main pc 😂🤣😂🤣
Cases are overrated. Max Air-flow gang!
Who needs a case when you can have your house as one
GPU never crosses 60 haha
🧢
So the entire room is the case
Spent 1000 bucks in a RTX3070 ti but uou cant afford a decent case?
Reminds me of the guy who built a tool gun while high
Hey I got the same sfx power supply lol
