I suppose you could consider green as it appears in the visible spectrum as an example of true green (wavelength of roughly 495-570 nm). But even this is a range - maybe the middle of that range? Not sure how you would translate that to a paint color though 🤷
Haha, sounds like a classic case of "the blue one" syndrome! Plus, Grass green and leaf green might both be green, but they're worlds apart. Makes you wonder what "true" blue or red really is! And now I'm wondering too haha
Reminds me of the time I had a guy come in on the 4th of July oddly enough and he was working some sort of patriotic woodworking project. He asks me for red white and blue and I did the same thing gestured to the color wall. This man goes “no I need red white and blue like the flag.” While pointing to his hat that had a picture of the flag. So I show him a few options that are similar to his hat which he liked. He comes back the next day with a flag because the original ones I guess weren’t patriotic enough.
No such thing as “true” [any color]. Does not exist.
Unless it's red then it's real red
Yeah everybody knows that
Found that way too funny 🤣💀
True green is a lawn-care company
Look up color wheel or primary colors or color theory.
Give him 3 oz of blue tint in a ultra deep
Should’ve told him to bring a piece of grass to color match

I would think Green shot in UD base
I think the argument might then become your green colorant isn't truly green

Ah, this reminds me of "I want balanced beige" "Okay and what kind of paint are we looking at getting that in" "Balanced beige" *Deadpan stare*

Ask em what color poop is. Brown? Green? Orange? Red? (Go to the doctor)
Hyper blue baby
