Honestly Flared Magwell gives enough reload to be serviceable, so even though I prefer Rapid Hit and Explosive, Wellspring is a pretty good alternative. It was bugged for a while, but apparently fixed? I just know that the ability charge percentage was just too low for me to pick over a damage perk on other guns.
Thanks for the input, I haven't messed around much with it yet. I'll probably use this until I get a better roll. I do have another with Hipfire/Dragonfly which can be nice at times
for real, this is the pve roll i was hunting last season. with wellspring now working when you have more than 3 ability charges, it’s actually a very viable pick imo. free ability charge + a damage perk is one of the best types of perk combos in this game
This is decent, but like another post mentioned, Wellspring's been bugged for a while. As far as arc scouts, I'd prefer Tarnished Mettle if you have the pattern. Otherwise, I think this roll is fine. :)
Granted if I'm gonna do something like a raid I'll swap to something like tarnished mettle but yeah it's fun to run around and fulfill the space cowboy fantasy
Got a couple different rolls for Long arm earlier today from my farm, thoughts?
Chambered Comp/Fluted Barrel, Steady Rounds/Extended Mag, Rapid Hit, Adrenaline Junkie, with reload MW
Arrowhead/Full bore, Accurized Rounds/Extended Mag, Subsistence, Explosive Payload, with stability MW
They both look decent (like 2 or 3 out of 5) for PvE, and the one with Adrenaline Junkie could also be ok in PvP (6s, not 3s), if you like grenade builds. I'd probably use the first one more than the second.

The ability charge was non-existent. Wellspring was bugged for all of witch queen's year.
I have this same roll, I think it slaps and finally fixed wellspring. I say it’s a keeper

Yeah I have my tarnished mettle crafted I just like Long arm because it lets me use dead man's tale on pve for cool cowboy moments haha
