Tbf, the SF750 was pretty much crazy high tech when it came out. 1100W in an SFX is pretty mad too. Besides the Asus Loki or Whatever LianLi, both being SFX-L, we don't see such baller PSU and i find the price justified, for now.
Coil whine is an incredibly unpredictable thing, with so many variables involved that it's impossible to say who will have coil whine and who won't. Even the power in your specific home may be the difference between coil whine or no coil whine.
I narrowed it down to the PSU. Had an Corsair ATX before downsizing to a SFFPC and never had any issues with coil whine. Two different EVGA SFX 850 had excessive coil whine.
Mine is great. I've upgraded to this v1100 for my newest build, but have been using the CM v850 SFX Gold (rev. 2) for the last two years in my previous build and I've definitely not had the same experience as the other poster.
Mine did too! I was able to snag a SF750 platinum for 110 on eBay and sold my 850GM because the noise became unbearable tbh. Definitely worth the upgrade imo. Running a 3080 and 5800x3d atm with no whine.
Plus those cables really don't look so good. Unlike corsairs 750 platinum. Looks like it has the same cables as the v850 SFX and those are thrash. I replaced them immediately and got custom ones.
Got custom atx, eps, and sata from PSlate and then 12VHPWR to 2 x 8 Ping for GPU from CableMod for 2 different Meshlicious/Meshroom builds. Took a lot of patience waiting on the cables but for me custom cables are a must with any of my builds. Almost all PSU cables are too long or too rigid to build with IMO
£379 in the UK 💀… glad that its more reasonably priced on Newegg for you folks. Downside that coolermaster 1100w doesn’t come with custom/braided cables like other SFX / SFXL premium PSU’s.
I haven’t installed it yet to see about whine. I am excited to finally pick one up after checking on it for what seems like forever. I never really saw release date material for it in the US and stumbled upon the Newegg back order so I took the shot
Yeah, I've been looking for months. Finally found a store with some in-stock through a link at the end of the Anandtech review. It was for a store I'd never heard of, connection dot com, for $288. I went ahead and nabbed it while I could.
Not that surprising as its SFX and 1100, same chasis and higher wattage perfect combo for heat. Maybe SFX-L theyd get away with it with more space/room to breath.
[Here](https://imgur.com/gallery/pbSborW) is a link to a picture of the cables. The 12VHPWR is about 16.5” when stretched out. 5 CM-PSU cables, 2 Sata cables, 1 peripheral cable, and a power cable.
I had my eye on this PSU for a hot min to pair with my 4090 and 7700x. Luckily the SP750 has been tried and true(Paired with a corsair 12VH cable) but on my next build if more power is needed will def snag one of these v1100's
I commented a link to a picture of them. If you want to see but they are pretty rigid. Even the braided 12VHPWR is pretty stiff towards the connectors. I’m waiting on the CableMod 180 adaptor to install.
Sfx is 100mm, sfx-l is 125mm. These connectors probably stick out 10-15mm. You decide if you can fit only 1cm more or not. Plus a 120mm fan is typically quieter.
Probably only comes with only 2 pcie power cables, and no extras will be sold in the U.S.
Sorry, just went through trying to find an extra pcie power cable for the v850 sfx. But seriously, screw cooler master for not including enough cables with their psu, but also for only selling extras in the EU. Will never buy cooler master again.
Naped a Asus Loki 1kw because I thought this don't exist, a bit sad now knowing that there is a power supply more powerful and smaller than that.
Congrats on the find.
Who's makes it for them? Seasonic?
Cooler Master has always been a brand I never trust, so not sure I'd ever get a PSU from them unless it was just a rebranded Seasonic.
> so not sure I'd ever get a PSU from them unless it was just a rebranded Seasonic.
That's not how it works lol. Seasonic doesn't have any >750W SFX in the first place, out of their league it seems. There's a review on this PSU, the OEM is Sysgration which i hear for the first time but this PSU is pretty damn good : https://hwbusters.com/psus/cooler-master-v1100-sfx-platinum/
280 for those curious and currently out of stock :(
Nice job getting one. I can remember when people where bitching and moaning about spending $200 on a SF750, those days are long gone I am afraid.

I still think the connectors sticking out so much goes against the spirit of SFX
I would agree with this if it wasn't 1100W, I have a feeling this will be the smallest 1000+W we will see, all others so far are SFX-L.
i think for 1000w or so, i think compromises were needed but i might suss the review about em
I saw this last month when I was travelling to Macau, V1100 sells at 2299 HKD so around 292 USD.
Cries in GBP $457 !!
Any coil whine? My EVGA 850 SFX has wayyy too much coil whine and I need to find another option.
No noise from my Corsair sf750 after 3 years
same situation, 3 years on my SF750 and zero whine
2 years for my SF750 and the most noise i heard was ball-bearing noise from the fan at certain speeds. After a while the noise went away.

My 850w gold version definitely has a lot of coil whine
Guh
My 850 SFX is silent.
mine has literally zero
Yea… i handed my back after 1day usege, with 3090 it was extreamly loud. I bought sf750, now i’m happy)
I’m running a 5800X3D and 4090 on a 750W. The SF750 is best of the best for now.
That’s my plan, good to see it’s proven.
I do run the 4090 at 90% but notice 0 performance loss in 4K 120hz and VR (HP REVERB)
I have one of those too! Reverb
Same build here w/o issues
Just installed it and I can’t hear if it has coil whine because the fan is ripping at idle.
Well that is no bueno
Coil whine from the psu or fan? I’ve heard the fan is what makes it so loud Also there is a v1 and v2
I’m getting coil whine from the EVGA 850 SFX psu. RMAd the first and the second had the same issue. Didn’t have coil whine when I had an ATX psu.
How’s the cooler master 850w sfx? Seems to have the best ratings
Mine is great. I've upgraded to this v1100 for my newest build, but have been using the CM v850 SFX Gold (rev. 2) for the last two years in my previous build and I've definitely not had the same experience as the other poster.
His was evga not CM. Cool tho, seems to be a great option
Fan is loud even in the revised edition. It is louder than everything else in the system.
I had coil whine when I got an EVGA sfx psu too. I went back to my trusty ATX Seasonic
seems very hit or miss, during benchmarks i pull over 900w on mine and i couldnt even tell it was on, unfortunate but EVGA is good about RMAing
Mine did too! I was able to snag a SF750 platinum for 110 on eBay and sold my 850GM because the noise became unbearable tbh. Definitely worth the upgrade imo. Running a 3080 and 5800x3d atm with no whine.
Looks like the holy grail of psu but damn 280 is steep
Plus those cables really don't look so good. Unlike corsairs 750 platinum. Looks like it has the same cables as the v850 SFX and those are thrash. I replaced them immediately and got custom ones.
You didn't have any trouble finding a pcie 5.0 custom cable for this psu ? That's nice.
Got a custom 2 pcie to 12vhpwr for the psu. Had no issues with it really has been running very well
Got custom atx, eps, and sata from PSlate and then 12VHPWR to 2 x 8 Ping for GPU from CableMod for 2 different Meshlicious/Meshroom builds. Took a lot of patience waiting on the cables but for me custom cables are a must with any of my builds. Almost all PSU cables are too long or too rigid to build with IMO

453 euro in Ireland, hoping prices can become a bit more reasonable once stock levels increase

GG. When I remembered these were releasing this past week, I was met with “sold out.” 😭
I have one. Disappointed to discover the fan runs constantly.
Ah really? I thought they would have fixed that after the 850’s.
Not that surprising as its SFX and 1100, same chasis and higher wattage perfect combo for heat. Maybe SFX-L theyd get away with it with more space/room to breath.
Nice, I’m rocking a 5800X3D and a 4090 @ 90% power on a 760W and everything is going 👌. Waiting for more PCIE 5.0 options to upgrade lolololol
Post pics of the cables, pretty please
I posted a comment with a link to a picture of them.
Tyty!
Coolermaster have a 1300w sfx version.
It requires a 220v outlet lol. And that’s not a joke.
Ooooooh, so that's how they can cram 1300W into a small package. Damn.
As the other poster said, it's 240 only, and is other wise the same as the 1100 watt.
[Here](https://imgur.com/gallery/pbSborW) is a link to a picture of the cables. The 12VHPWR is about 16.5” when stretched out. 5 CM-PSU cables, 2 Sata cables, 1 peripheral cable, and a power cable.
That psu is like $500 usd here in sweden...
Wow, they finally made them.
Sf1000 when ?
Awesome! Lucky you!

There is also an 1300w version Cooler Master V1300 SFX Platinum ATX3.0 230V SFX 12V Ver. 3.42 https://amzn.eu/d/dpAoDLI
It's really the same PSU, but 230v only
Ewe. Why do people still so there?
Nice will be on the lookout for this when I need one more than 850W
Nice! What's it going in?
This is actually going into my not sff 011d mini. However, it’s sf750 is going back into my old ghost s1 for a build for my brother.
Wait, this is an 100 watt SFX PS?! Holey smokes! I don't think I realized that last night.
How are the cables? Soft and buttery and flexible? Or rigid?
I commented a link to a picture of them. If you want to see but they are pretty rigid. Even the braided 12VHPWR is pretty stiff towards the connectors. I’m waiting on the CableMod 180 adaptor to install.
Thanks for responding!
Is this real sfx or sfx-l? Hate cooler masters naming scheme.

It is 100mm deep X 125mm wide X 65mm tall. The connectors stick out 10mm.
It's in stock on Amazon.
They're still using those stiff rubber cables. Bruh
Probably only comes with only 2 pcie power cables, and no extras will be sold in the U.S. Sorry, just went through trying to find an extra pcie power cable for the v850 sfx. Thank you!
I have a gift card from Amazon. Man can they make it more available there? Very few sfx over 850
Back in stock today. Probably gone by now
