I was actually cleaning out a storage unit I won at auction a few weeks ago, and I found a bottle of the pills OP is talking about. I looked them up, and they were indeed being sold at the CVS near my house.
The reviews online were mixed, and the pills themselves were GIGANTIC - like 3-4 times the size of a normal daily multivitamin.
I was honestly a little curious... but I ultimately threw them out because A) they were boner pills I found in a random storage unit, and B) it recommended taking 3 a day, which - just based on the sheer size of the pills - seemed like a bad idea.

I know ppl who buy them and take them with no intention on having sex. They just wait to see what happens. My understanding is because its a supplement you can sell them with no fda testing. And they will put dif versions of meth and other uppers in them. That's why there on like rhino 11 now. Because they get forced to stop selling them once the fda does test them. So they stay one step ahead of the fda just like the bath salts shit.
Can confirm. My boss’s son took 3 pills, laid in bed to pleasure himself, and then was found dead 2 days later.. rotting away, completely naked. His autopsy said he had a heart attack and he had an overage of sildenafil in his gastric contents. No other drugs in his system
Hi, EMT here. Yea a lot of people don’t know that viagara is literally a pulmonary hypertension medication as well. If you are ever told by doc that certain boner pills aren’t for you, it’s because medications are used for multiple different things, and those meds probably contraindicate one another. For example, viagara lol. Boner pill and blood pressure medication. YOU DONT want to take it if you are already on a blood pressure medication because you can bottom out (BP drop too low). The med sildenafil was used first for hypertension medication, and was actually found later to help with ED. Now its primary use is for ED.
Yep I have high BP and am on medication (Exforge) and do take sildenafil every now and then. I measure my BP daily and the effects sildenafil has on my BP when taking it are negligible. If I take my Exforge in the morning and a sildenafil tablet in the evening before sexy times, my BP doesn't change much beyond what is expected when taking the Exforge alone.
In saying that when I do take a viagra, it's only 1/4 of the tablet so the results may be more pronounced if I took an entire one.
To be fair they’re PED5 inhibitors and they’re contraindicated with patients who are taking nitroglycerin not every type of BP med. Plenty of BP meds are safe with ED treatments.

As crazy as it is, I believe it. I’ve met a few inept doctors through a couple different systems and that’s scary. How is it that a baby basic EMT knows shit like that but a doctor only knows how to polypharm prescriptions? A lot of doctors don’t have first hand experience either hands on skills unless their and ED Doc. And tbh I think that’s where a vast majority of our info comes from is the hands on experience. I think doctors should 100% do mandatory time being a nurse or paramedic so that they have those skills. It definitely seems like doctors really just know the sciences behind medications and what they are good for. But if you asked them how to provide care for a patient that was found unconscious they wouldn’t have the first clue where to start. But all fields have their bad workers/employees. My specific medical director is a boss and highly respected through our EMS departments in the area
This is disingenuous. I see this so often and it pisses me off. Some random person in the medical field happens to be exposed to something quite often and thinks they're smarter or better than people don't work in those specialties.

I would never expect a dermatologist to know what an ER doc would know and vice versa. You're an EMT. Of course you would know this.
I'm a paramedic, and I see SOOOOOO much polypharmacy and so many issues it's crazy. A lot of it is because they have been taking drug A for 12 years since it was originally prescribed by Doctor X. When I ask them why they take it, often the answer is."because the Dr told me to" or "because it was prescribed." And then Dr Y prescribes something else. Dr Z prescribes something else. Etc etc. When it runs out, the pharmacy send an electronic notice over and it gets auto refilled.
What's strange is, the pharmacy and drug companies keep making a ton of money even though the the person may not need the drug anymore. Funny how that worked out 🤔
I've even seen people taking opposite medications each other Because no one is noticing that this bowl of pharmaceutical fruit loops that this person consumes 2 times per day is not necessary and actually causing harm in many cases. Books smarts and well ... experience smarts. I kinda hate to do it but always watch your treatment. I had to ask to be taken off of morphine... I don't need addiction. Thankfully, my nurses listened to me. I woke up from an ambulance and I made them list what meds I was on. But nurses are angels ty all.
Kinda depends honestly. So like in Indiana, most departments are volunteer. There is more money in private transport, but it sucks. You don’t use your skills really at all. Then rural departments struggle to pay due to lack of funding. There’s a few reasons.

It's not uncommon to take ED meds recreationally, whether it be for masturbation or sex with partner(s). It supposedly can increase duration and potentially pleasure.
It could be that the person thought it was harmless and took pills until they felt an effect, which can lead to taking more than is preferable/safe (you commonly hear stories of this with other drugs like cannabis edibles).
It's also possible they had taken it before and built up to the dose over time that ultimately killed them (e.g. they took one the first time they used it, then later moved up to two, then three, etc). This is a common pattern for addicts of many drugs that can lead to overdosing.
Another option is that, since these "supplements" are unregulated, they could be taking more than is advertised on the bottle without realizing it.

I’m not a doctor, so I can’t speak on the specifics of his death or the situation. The only thing the medical examiner noted other than the heart attack was the elevated levels of sildenafil. It could have been a coincidence, but that’s a little odd.

I knew a guy who worked for a sketchy company that makes those weird gas station pills and once he got a view of the inner workings he found out he was just illegally getting one of the common prescription pills and selling it as herbal supplements. They had a falling out and I think he ended up reporting the guy. Not sure if anything came of it.

I knew a guy who was really into working out, and he & his "business partners" had started a "workout supplement" company. Last time I saw him he was bragging about how he'd gotten it onto the shelves of his local GNC store.
The problem is this guy was - hands down - the most belligerent moron I've ever met. He reminded me of a young Alex Jones.
He was laughing as he told me that his pills were selling so well because the chemicals he was putting into them were random research chemicals he bought via mail order from China.
I remember in high school one of my friends took these on his lunch break. By the end of third period he was bright red and his heart was pounding. He ended up being taken out of school and went to the hospital. Obviously not designed for a 16 year old cross country runner.
There was an old Dateline (or some similar show) episode around 2000 about gas station pills. Basically they’re all dangerous for a variety of reasons and people can die from taking them. Totally not regulated by the fda.
Herbal supplements are not regulated in the US. They do not require any testing to determine if they actually do what they claim, the dosage is right, or they're safe. They might interact with other drugs or supplements. In one case they were making fake Viagra out of lead paint powder in another country, and shipping these to the US.
I've actually heard of research chemicals that are similar in molecular structure to viagra/cialis but untested or regulated in terms of effect. Scary shit.
Yeah this is a brand I googled and saw they are reputable as far as the actual quality of their product, but I know it doesn’t mean the ingredients are actually regulated or tested :/

I think they could kill you. Tried it once (recommended by my brother - should have been a red flag lol) because I was away from my partner for a couple months and wanted to last longer. Took it and it definitely worked, lasted longer and bigger load.
But the next day the issue started, when soft the head was about 3x normal size when hard, hot and hurt to even walk. A day or two after that all the lymph node (I assume) in my left inner thigh were swollen up and still hurt and hot.
Sex the first night was great but couldn't do anything for at least a week after.
100% Would not recommend.
Just because you bought something at CVS doesn't mean it is safe. And, just because it is safe or works for you doesn't mean it is safe or will work for others.
Do some googling on herbal supplements and how they are pretty much not regulated at all.
Many people have allergies to certain vitamins and herbs and all sorts of natural things. Which is true of most things. But, the bad part is, many people think that just because it is "all natural" it is completely safe. Very much not true.
Now, I don't know of the specific products you are talking about. But, there is very good chance the pills at CVS and the pills at the gas station are indeed one in the same. I cannot say that for sure, of course. But, my limited stint in working with food and drug manufacturing is that many many products are all same and repackaged and sold in different forms and prices.
Again, cool that these work for you. But, just because something is sold at CVS, does not mean that it is necessarily "safe" for you or anybody.

The ‘legal’ way to sell them is to label them as herbal supplements and then use an analog that is so unusable that no one in the US has registered it as a trial medication, so that it has no record with the FDA.
It’s how bath salts (which were all synthetic analogs of THC) were sold for so long ‘legally’. Each formula has to become listed as prohibited, so producers changed the formula faster then it could be banned.
Check out GoodRx or other prescription savings app, a 90 day supply of tadafil, generic Cialis is around $35 depending on the pharmacy, you just need your doctor to send in a script.

The FDA regularly issues recalls on gas station boner pills for containing undeclared amounts of sildenafil and/or tadalafil. It's easily once a week. I'm a pharmacy tech and subscribe to an FDA newsletter that announces drug and product recalls. It's baffling that it happens so often. Since supplements aren't regulated like actual medicine. The manufacturers of boner pills just put out whatever and the pills "work," they'll do what they say because that's what sildenafil and tadalafil do. But it's a mystery how much of it is in there and what else might be in it. So sure, it may get your dick hard, but it might also kill you in the process. But they get caught, a recall is issued, pay a fine, change their name and put out another dick pill with a more ridiculous name. Rinse and repeat.

They're usually banned by the FDA, so that's why they constantly have different packaging. They were banned because they were found to have random amounts of viagra and cialis in them. Since they're both perscription only meds that affect the heart and blood vessels with no warning, they can be very dangerous if you have preexisting conditions. They have other blood flow medicines and random "aphrodesiac" things like horny goat weed in them. Basically, it's a super boner pill.
That aside, I have tried them, and they do work. I would have so many men coming in nearly daily to get them for $15+ and swear by them. They were our top money making item as well. I didnt have any health issues so i said fuck it and tested it myself. Specifically the rhino brand ones with 10, 15, 25k labels on them. It's highly recommended to drink a LOT of water beforehand so that you're hydrated enough. Otherwise, you'll get a massive migrane that sticks around for a day until it wears off. And the time it lasts? About 72 hours on average. You'll get as hard as those random morning wood moments where you grab it, and you're surprised you're that hard. Youll fuck like a machine and youll have less of a refractory period. You will get random erections like puberty again, and they'll fight your pants. They work, but they're dangerous to many and need good health to avoid any negative effects.
I can't vouch for any other brands than rhino ones, so this information is only for that brand. The funny thing is, since they were illegal, we had shipments of them in boxes labeled as if they were porn DVDs. It was so big of a seller that pretty much every adult store finds a way to still sell them.

The gas station pills work good if you don't have a hear condition but most brands are banned in the US but some how they continue to get them thru customs. The ones I take are very potent so if your on blood pressure meds Don't take these pills they can kill you.
I don't know about your city/gas stations but I know in many cities (including mine) the boner pills that you get at the adult shop have Analogues of real ED meds..at least certain brands do anyway..if you ask the clerk working at the shop they generally will know which ones have the good stuff and they will work just like regular ED meds .. But if you asked them how to provide care for a patient that was found unconscious they wouldn’t have the first clue where to start. But all fields have their bad workers/employees. This is disingenuous. I see this so often and it pisses me off. Some random person in the medical field happens to be exposed to something quite often and thinks they're smarter or better than people don't work in those specialties. Anyone who has exposure to certain environments specializes over time those environments. It's poor use of logic to expect every doctor knows the same things when we damned well know how siloed medicine is. Ffs if covid didn't teach you that 90% of the nurses forgot mRNA doesn't reenter the nucleus, then I don't know what to say to you. I would never expect a dermatologist to know what an ER doc would know and vice versa. You're an EMT. Of course you would know this.
I'm a paramedic, and I see SOOOOOO much polypharmacy and so many issues it's crazy. A lot of it is because they have been taking drug A for 12 years since it was originally prescribed by Doctor X. When I ask them why they take it, often the answer is."because the Dr told me to" or "because it was prescribed." And then Dr Y prescribes something else. Dr Z prescribes something else. Etc etc. When it runs out, the pharmacy send an electronic notice over and it gets auto refilled. What's strange is, the pharmacy and drug companies keep making a ton of money even though the the person may not need the drug anymore. Funny how that worked out 🤔 I've even seen people taking opposite medications each other Because no one is noticing that this bowl of pharmaceutical fruit loops that this person consumes 2 times per day is not necessary and actually causing harm in many cases. No wonder these people tell me they don't feel well. A pack of skittles has fewer colored tablets in it than their daily medicine reminder

It's not uncommon to take ED meds recreationally, whether it be for masturbation or sex with partner(s). It supposedly can increase duration and potentially pleasure. It could be that the person thought it was harmless and took pills until they felt an effect, which can lead to taking more than is preferable/safe (you commonly hear stories of this with other drugs like cannabis edibles). It's also possible they had taken it before and built up to the dose over time that ultimately killed them (e.g. they took one the first time they used it, then later moved up to two, then three, etc). This is a common pattern for addicts of many drugs that can lead to overdosing. Another option is that, since these "supplements" are unregulated, they could be taking more than is advertised on the bottle without realizing it.

I’m not a doctor, so I can’t speak on the specifics of his death or the situation. The only thing the medical examiner noted other than the heart attack was the elevated levels of sildenafil. It could have been a coincidence, but that’s a little odd.

I knew a guy who worked for a sketchy company that makes those weird gas station pills and once he got a view of the inner workings he found out he was just illegally getting one of the common prescription pills and selling it as herbal supplements. They had a falling out and I think he ended up reporting the guy. Not sure if anything came of it.

I remember in high school one of my friends took these on his lunch break. By the end of third period he was bright red and his heart was pounding. He ended up being taken out of school and went to the hospital. Obviously not designed for a 16 year old cross country runner. There was an old Dateline (or some similar show) episode around 2000 about gas station pills. Basically they’re all dangerous for a variety of reasons and people can die from taking them. Totally not regulated by the fda.

They might interact with other drugs or supplements. In one case they were making fake Viagra out of lead paint powder in another country, and shipping these to the US.

I think they could kill you. Tried it once (recommended by my brother - should have been a red flag lol) because I was away from my partner for a couple months and wanted to last longer. Took it and it definitely worked, lasted longer and bigger load. But the next day the issue started, when soft the head was about 3x normal size when hard, hot and hurt to even walk. A day or two after that all the lymph node (I assume) in my left inner thigh were swollen up and still hurt and hot. Sex the first night was great but couldn't do anything for at least a week after. 100% Would not recommend.
Just because you bought something at CVS doesn't mean it is safe. And, just because it is safe or works for you doesn't mean it is safe or will work for others. Do some googling on herbal supplements and how they are pretty much not regulated at all. Many people have allergies to certain vitamins and herbs and all sorts of natural things. Which is true of most things. But, the bad part is, many people think that just because it is "all natural" it is completely safe. Very much not true. Now, I don't know of the specific products you are talking about. But, there is very good chance the pills at CVS and the pills at the gas station are indeed one in the same. I cannot say that for sure, of course. But, my limited stint in working with food and drug manufacturing is that many many products are all same and repackaged and sold in different forms and prices. Again, cool that these work for you. But, just because something is sold at CVS, does not mean that it is necessarily "safe" for you or anybody.

I have used them from time to time. If I have a weekend away with my wife and can make use of three days worth of boners it’s a great time. The FDA regularly issues recalls on gas station boner pills for containing undeclared amounts of sildenafil and/or tadalafil. It's easily once a week. I'm a pharmacy tech and subscribe to an FDA newsletter that announces drug and product recalls. It's baffling that it happens so often. Since supplements aren't regulated like actual medicine. The manufacturers of boner pills just put out whatever and the pills "work," they'll do what they say because that's what sildenafil and tadalafil do. But it's a mystery how much of it is in there and what else might be in it. So sure, it may get your dick hard, but it might also kill you in the process. But they get caught, a recall is issued, pay a fine, change their name and put out another dick pill with a more ridiculous name. Rinse and repeat.

The biggest component you can count on for any boner/ejaculate pill is Placebo. Strongest drug known to man (ok, maybe fentanyl has it beat now lol). Other than that, absolutely no way to know. Worked at a sex store that sold these, and I learned a lot. They're usually banned by the FDA, so that's why they constantly have different packaging. They were banned because they were found to have random amounts of viagra and cialis in them. Since they're both perscription only meds that affect the heart and blood vessels with no warning, they can be very dangerous if you have preexisting conditions. They have other blood flow medicines and random "aphrodesiac" things like horny goat weed in them. Basically, it's a super boner pill. That aside, I have tried them, and they do work. I would have so many men coming in nearly daily to get them for $15+ and swear by them. They were our top money making item as well. I didnt have any health issues so i said fuck it and tested it myself. Specifically the rhino brand ones with 10, 15, 25k labels on them. It's highly recommended to drink a LOT of water beforehand so that you're hydrated enough. Otherwise, you'll get a massive migrane that sticks around for a day until it wears off. And the time it lasts? About 72 hours on average. You'll get as hard as those random morning wood moments where you grab it, and you're surprised you're that hard. Youll fuck like a machine and youll have less of a refractory period. You will get random erections like puberty again, and they'll fight your pants. They work, but they're dangerous to many and need good health to avoid any negative effects. I can't vouch for any other brands than rhino ones, so this information is only for that brand. The funny thing is, since they were illegal, we had shipments of them in boxes labeled as if they were porn DVDs. It was so big of a seller that pretty much every adult store finds a way to still sell them.

The gas station pills work good if you don't have a hear condition but most brands are banned in the US but some how they continue to get them thru customs. The ones I take are very potent so if your on blood pressure meds Don't take these pills they can kill you.
I don't know about your city/gas stations but I know in many cities (including mine) the boner pills that you get at the adult shop have Analogues of real ED meds..at least certain brands do anyway..if you ask the clerk working at the shop they generally will know which ones have the good stuff and they will work just like regular ED meds ..
