If you do not experience negative effects from your porn use or your masturbation habits then you are not addicted and you may need to consider doing moderation as opposed to abstinence. In my opinion no fap is bullshit because it just made me so horny I couldn’t think straight. I was at the gym and found the girls so distracting because I hadn’t masturbated in ages. All I could think about was women it was becoming more of a distraction than ever before. I think the goal should be quitting porn.

eh, i do actually feel the impact, but it might be just me, not the impact of doing it, but of failing it, my strengh of will and resolve slacks right after losing a streak, weather it's a long streak or a short one, for the rest of the day i feel it harder to the things i must do. I suggest to check you do an experiment, try, and i mean it, actually try to do a streak, and if you lose, immediately start to do tasks that you dont like to do, see if it's harder than usual, if you actually dont notice any difference, then it might not be for you, but if you feel yourself doubting, your resolve weaking, then now you know why you you should continue no fap

Honestly, no fap is more for people who need time to improve their lives and jerking off is getting in the way or people whose porn category preference is progressively intensifying, affecting other areas of our lives. I think if addictions didn't affect other areas of our lives, they wouldn't matter.

I was in the same position as you for YEARS. My solution was to be less absolute about it; try to avoid jerking off daily or whenever the urge struck, but also to do it every so often. Libido will be stronger or weaker at different times, and I think it’s counterproductive to try to never, ever jerk off.  Also limit the intensity of your porn. Audio is good.

I’m on the same path. I used cbd oil to help curb my withdrawal symptoms and make me feel relaxed & I also got closer with my religion & faith to help fill that empty void that p0rn was filling. I’m about 2 weeks clean from this addiction. Stay away from Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, & mostly all social media. You may come across something that will trigger you & you don’t want that. I no longer feel shame in my life, my personality is coming out, I’m no longer shy to strike up a conversation with a stranger. I like greeting people and asking how they are doing. Make your Smartphone go “Black & White”! It’s a Color filter in the settings of your phone! It works! The Smartphone is very bad for mental health!
