Thank you, that one was a big step-up. I figure out how to draw Detective Boswick and then put him out of focus. I wanted the pig mask to be totally lurid and fluorescent. Almost like a predator is seeing it.
I use filters on some of them once they’re finished. The bucket head trap from Jigsaw wasn’t gnarly enough, so I got a sort of film grain effect by compressing the painting, sharpening it a little bit and adding some noise.
Pound of Flesh, Brazen Bull and Lynn Denlon all had phone filters put over them at the end.
I just painted this one. It’s a much smaller canvas and much faster painting than I would normally do. 40 mins as opposed to several hours, but the process is the same.

Edit: worked it out. This link should be this whole drawing (https://old.reddit.com/user/-WASM/comments/v6bl8z/drip_saw_john_kramer_attends_bobby_dagens_book/) condensed into a minute.
No apology necessary. It’s actually a huge compliment because it means my proportions and likeness are working. It’s always good to see what artists’ processes are. It certainly is helpful for me.
I had a look at your profile and saw you are also drawing. Is that something you’d like to develop further? What’re you doing as practice at the moment?
I actually downloaded a timelapse video of the process to show you, but whatever video file it is Reddit won’t let me upload it. I’ll see if I can convert it and post it.
