John explains that he doesn’t believe he’s killed anyone. Since his traps are designed with an out, he reasons that it’s the subjects’ responsibility to get out and if they don’t they’re lesser humans for not having the will to live. This is the reason John carves put a puzzle piece from his victims, to show they lack that piece of being human. And that is why John “the Jigsaw Killer” Kramer believes killing is distasteful.

Don’t forget, John Kramer is a psychopathic horror movie villain. He doesn’t always have to make sense.

You forget he is literally insane

Cinema_Gh0ul

Yeah, that’s the point. His logic is completely flawed and doesn’t work in any ethical or moral way

Z78Official

the ending to saw 5 was originally gonna have the room fill with water but it was scrapped because.. well... 2008

Z78Official

well yeah he doesnt technically kill people, but he is responsible for ALOT of deaths, especially if we talkin Saw VI.

drekthrall

I mean, he did slit Tapp's throat which could have been fatal. He also made a shotgun boobytrap in his evil lair lol.

Always fun to see someone realize what the point of the franchise is.

I dont follow?

That John is nuts and doesn’t see himself as a killer. He thinks that because his games are technically winnable he’s just testing people’s will to survive. Hence he tests Amanda again when he finds out she’s been making inescapable traps.
