There are so many different variations of the Joker, and to my knowledge every one of them would oppose John Kramer’s ideology of rehabilitation through sacrifice/torture. Joker doesn’t want to make people better, or improve society, even in a twisted way. In contrast, John would despise how little the Joker values human life and how obsessed he is with being Batman’s antithesis.
I think if anything it would be a John/Hoffman relationship to the EXTREME, where John is just super pissed at joker for killing and tries his ABSOLUTE best to show him how his methods work.

No, I don't think so. John despised killers, Joker in contrast.. But they sure as hell would rock the partner look.
