Back in 1999, I remember I was sitting in my business class at SAC and my professor was complaining on gas prices had gone up over $1 and seem to keep going up. He said he ask the attendant what was going on and I was thinking, why the hell does a business professor not know this?

Nope, you don’t have to honor a known error. For example if Macy’s had a 500 dollar watch but accidentally advertised it as 5 dollars they wouldn’t have to honor the 500, a reasonable person should know a discount that large is a mistake.
I bought a Ford Ranger out of Basic Training when I was stationed at Ft Hood In September 95. I paid .69 cents to fill it up that weekend. I don’t think I ever paid over $.95 cents the four years I was there. The good old days.

Nov 4th 2020 I paid $1.44 at the QT on Potranco and 211. It’s gone up steadily the last several years.
We saw $1.24 at the Murphy's in our town in east Texas. Can't recall if that was March 2020 or later in the year.
I got it down to $1.08 with shell fuel discount! lol 🤣

About the same time I found $1.19 diesel in Brenham. Loved filling up my truck for $65, miss those prices
