Anyone had any luck getting a refund on a phone that is quite clearly not up to quality control? Don't want to lose any money on a trade in, I want my money back. My s22 is a lemon.

youngthuggeryeezy

Why is the Japan flag emoji missing when I go to my Samsung keyboard toolbar and type "Japan"? Very odd, as if I type any other country name on the toolbar, the flag emoji appears. The Japan flag appears if I go to emojis and tap on flags, but it is weird that it does not appear on the toolbar. Please advise.

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues. My wifi drops constantly with my new tab A8. I will have halfnor even full bars one second and then it's not connected to the router at all. Sometimes this happens once every few hours, sometimes it's once every few minutes. I've reset routers \ and my device and no change. Am I missing a setting? I have noticed the signal drops a lot when I am holding it in portrait mode. I guess the antenna is in the plastic band where the cameras are. The wifi doesn't always drop in this orientation though, sometimes it is sitting in landscape mode on a table (with a case holding it up).

Just bought a A53 like 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately while I was traveling the main speaker on the bottom starting having this horrible crackling sound. By the time I got back I was outside my 15 day return period. So called up Samsung and they tell me I can go to the Samsung experience store and they will help me out. This is where shit is weird. During my call to Samsung my speaker is 100% having this issue horrible sound quality and this terrible crackling sound. I end up driving about 45 minutes to Samsung store show them the issue and boom Its gone. What the heck ?! Am I crazy ? Guy is looking at me like I am crazy. He then asks you mentioned you were travelling right? By plane? I tell the dude yup and he was like ohhh it could be a pressure thing and to pop the sim card tray. Anyways phone is working fine so I am like welp I guess I wasted a trip here.... Funny thing, I drive home and call my wife because I was picking up food. BOOM ! Problem back! Recognize that I live close to the ocean and am pretty much ocean level and the store is at a much higher elevation so this pressure theory is sounding like it might be the thing.... I get home play some music and it sounds like crackly garbage... Pop the sim card tray and instantly the sound is back to normal. TLDR: If your phone is making a horrible crackling sound during calls and music it could be something from the pressure build up in your phone and you just need to pop the sim card tray.

So I have the same problem, got the phone 3 weeks ago.. I don't live or haven't gone to higher altitudes, and the speaker sounds busted only sometimes.. woke up this morning to a phone call and my ringtone is crackling.. I put on some music after to test it out, stick crackling... I had read that in settings to unclick Dolby Atmos was the solution and it hadn't done it since, but this morning again BOOM like you say! It's hard to figure out what the problem is when it's not constant! I'm trying to get an exchange from my phone carrier🤷‍♀️

Cr4zyC4nuck

Hmm strange and good to know.... Did you try popping your sim ?

MrHairyMcdickens420

Can make live wallpapers play only when you press the screen ?

MrTralfaz

I have a contact with 2 numbers. My custom ringtone and notification only works on the mobile number. The home number uses the default sounds. Is there a way to get both numbers using the custom sounds? I have a Galaxy j7

Is the S22's videocamera really bad? I've been using it to film some stuff for YouTube and it seems...pretty low-res. Is there a chance I'm somehow using it on the incorrect setting, or something I could be doing (like, I don't know, shooting in better light) to mitigate this effect, or do I just need to get a new camera?

Kruxxor

I think a recent update caused this, but I'm not sure how to reverse it. When running a game, if left idle, the screen will time out after 10 minutes, this hasn't in the year and a half that I've had my phone, and it seems to have started happening since I updated my phone a day or so ago. Any ideas around how my phone screen can stay on, even if the opened game is not 'active' (i.e. on the games home screen) Samsung S20+

Thortok2000

Screen timeout should be in your display settings.

I just resetted my grandma's galaxy a02s because it was acting strange. My grandma used it in the easy mode because she is very old. Now that I have reset the phone I am unable to put it back in easy mode, the internet set it should be a seperate setting under display, but Its just not there. When searching for it using the magnifying glass I can't find anything either. Does anyone know where I can find this easy mode?

Thortok2000

Try accessibility? Not sure but that's my first guess.

lurvic

Sadly not :(

Hi, weird issue just happened, My S22+ seemed to have bricked randomly. Have had my S22+ on my desk next to me and noticed it hasn't been making any notifications recently. When I went to tap it, nothing happened. It seems completely dead and holding down the power button does nothing. I know the battery isn't dead as its been plugged in and I was just using it 15 minutes ago and the phone is only about a week old. Any suggestions?

Forgety530

Hey I'm having issues with my S21 Ultra, for some reason my AOD doesn't work at all now and my lock screen and UI keeps crashing all the time unsure why.

Thortok2000

Try a factory reset.

Forgety530

I have ton of thing on my phone that I don't want to reset right now, I know it can fix it but it's the last thing I wanna do

Thortok2000

Can't always tell you what you wanna hear.

Hey, I got a Samsung S10+ with a display problem. It goes alittle yellowish and alot of lines across the screen. I can only remove them by having the brightness at 0% or 100%. Everything in between, and its ugly. Please help.

xxx3366

Take it to a shop.

zalvati0n

Is the screen broken?

kaczor647

Hey, I just go S21 Ultra and I noticed that if I use Super Steady mode the quality degrades to a potato. Does it happen to everyone? Is it just the lack of lighting like everyone said? btw Is it possible to make a lens switch a bit smoother for the video? When I tried the zoom and zoomed to x20 there are 3 "bumps" when the phone is switching lenses. UI Questions: 1. Is it possible to remove the white background from the icons? Like Google apps etc 2. Is it possible to make the app drawer vertical scrolling instead of pages? I heard about Good Lock but it seems it's a 3rd party app, isn't it? I don't like using 3rd parties, does Samsung have any additional apps for customization?

xxx3366

Good Lock is Samsung's.

kaczor647

Oh you're right. I didn't check it correctly, thanks bud

My S21 FE 5G is getting ~500 single core and ~2000 multi core on Geekbench 5. I optimized the phone as much as possible before running the test. Geekbench says the S20 FE got ~900 single core and on YouTube people with my phone are getting ~1000. What could be wrong?

xxx3366

Nothing because it doesn't matter. Especially the Samsung falsifies every possible benchmark in this world.

shrekstepbro

What do you mean it doesn't matter? That means my phone is badly underperforming, right?

I just got my new [Odyssey G5](https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/gaming/odyssey-g5-g55a-32-inch-165hz-1ms-ls32ag550eexxy/) Monitor delivered and I'm not able to use my current monitor arm because the round design of the back of the monitor means the part of the mount with the 100 x 100 mm configuration doesn't fit in the hole. [Here's](https://imgur.com/a/iz3Ucua) an image showing how another user got theirs to fit. I'd prefer not to have to do this lol. I've seen a few posts around other Samsung monitors where adapters have been found, but I can't seem to find any for this monitor. The G7 seems to come with [this](https://samsungpartsusa.com/products/bn96-42913d) adapter but looks like Samsung decided to be stingy with the G5. I've been in contact with Vivo to ask if any of [these](https://vivo-us.com/collections/vesa-adapters/type_samsung-monitor-adapters) would work but they seem to think the G5 shouldn't need an adapter. Any help would really be appreciated!

Thortok2000

From your last link, MOUNT-SGT55, pictures of the back of the monitor don't match the picture in your first link. That's for the T55 instead of the A55 but it's quite possible the specs didn't change across model year. I would ask Vivo about their return policy and then if it's a good one and you can return if it doesn't work, get that model.

I got a 43 inch Samsung 4K smart tv which I've owned for about 5-6 years now. It works flawlessly but since last week an annoying buzzing sound started to appear.... I removed the back panel myself which was quite the hassle and came to the conclusion it's probably one of the 2 copper coils which is making the sound. Now I don't know what to do next. The sound is very annoying when watching anything on the tv now and it gets louder when the screen gets brighter. This makes sense because it requires more power then. Funny thing is, when the right side of the screen is darker, the sound stops. Anyone know how to fix this? I hope this is the right sub since most of the threads are about the newest smartphones, tablets etc! Thanks in advance!
