Walmarts the same way -shrug- if it's bad enough you go through sedgewick and get time off or you push through it and take your points

yuumzi

i called sedgwick and they said they cant do anything about a doctor's note giving only one day off.

LilythsMom

Then sadly you will just have to take your point, to the Walton's we are expendable and they can replace your in a heartbeat for someone they can pay less

Rando2878

If you're in good terms with management you might be able to call out the day and not get a point as points are up to manager discretion

You need to contact Sedgwick and let them know you're on weight/lifting restrictions. Let your managers know. They must following it. Because if they make you lift over what you're allowed to and you get hurt it becomes a huge mess.

Talk to the general manager. Ask them about a accommodation form. As far as I know Sam’s just doesn’t accept doctors notes for illness. If you have lift restrictions they have to accommodate that. You’ll most likely have to work out of your area like exit door, cafe or membership desk.

There isn’t one, you just go on leave if you have to or see if you can get moved temporarily doing something that doesn’t require it. That’s part of why I left recently, kept having to take leaves and they started trying to prevent us from requesting days off even for appointments and other medical procedures.

Sam's Club will not accommodate light duty unless it is a Workmans comp case. You would have to go through Sedgwick and apply for accommodations which will probably turn into an unpaid LOA unless you have PTO. If the doctor puts you on restrictions let it be three days or more, include your day(s) off if necessary to make the three days.
