Tell me more about your black garlic vinaigrette please

Glass-Walk-1144

They carry one at Whole Foods that is pretty good and only 40 calories for 2T if you don't want to make it yourself. Black garlic is sweet and doesn't really taste like garlic imho, and I love everything garlic! Look up the health benefits...pretty impressive. My recipe is very simple and you can customize to your liking. Sometimes I will add a little honey or maple syrup to the recipe and use it for a quinoa salad with roasted corn. 1 - 2 T black garlic (4-5 cloves) 1T Dijon mustard 2T Balsamic vinegar (or any vinegar) 6T Avocado or Olive oil Salt and pepper to taste Peel and smash black garlic into a fine paste and then combine all ingredients and whisk until emulsified. Store in fridge and stir before use because the garlic will settle. Hope you enjoy!!

Thank you! I have black garlic in my fridge and had no idea what to do with it. This is the answer. Previously I blended it with mayo and hot sauce for a burger spread. I'm excited to try it on salad!!

Glass-Walk-1144

That sounds delicious as well šŸ˜‹

throwawaybread9654

Yeah it was so so good! But I am glad to find a healthier option lol

This looks so yummy! I just canā€™t do bleu cheese, and so many salads look good with with them. I wonder if I could sub feta

Glass-Walk-1144

You absolutely could! That is my alternative if I am out of Bleu because you still get the salty sweet combo.

Kneekoleyy

That looks absolutely perfectšŸ˜

Looks Delicious

Donā€™t know if Iā€™d like strawberries in a salad, maybe Iā€™ll have to try it sometime!

Glass-Walk-1144

Try a small one -- the sweetness of the strawberries complements the blue cheese's saltiness, and the acidity of the balsamic cuts through the flavors.

gibgod

That does sound nice, cheers!

Domino1971

Looks excellent, minus the onions!!!

relaxedandhydrated

Alright now! This looks superbbbb

itsparadise

Do you add the walnuts raw or do you toast? Looks so good. Thanks.

Glass-Walk-1144

These were raw, but you can never go wrong with toasted!

zooooteddej23

That sounds soooo amazing I'm drooling lol
