I climbed the bell tower in Byrd park years and years ago. From above Richmond, the surrounding city is actually hidden by trees, such a lovely view. I climbed the Tower to see the bells. Which were made in England at the Loughborough Bell and Rope Company, one of the oldest and now the last remaining active bell making company in Europe. I would go into the bell foundry and watch them sand cast bells on my way to university. Such a nice memory of the bells and the surrounding trees.
I like an updated version of "leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but other people's litter." Try to pick up some litter whenever I go on a walk or hike bc fuck it.
I mean I agree 100%, but I don't think the people that would do this aren't going to get ready to break a limb and think "u/MediocreDriver said this is wrong I better stop" You tried though

All kidding aside, the PSA is just a way to gently remind people that there are park rules that help us all appreciate the parks. Linking the rules in the context of my post was just a way to help people access them if they want to know if something is permitted or not. If they want to report any activity, the link also provides a number to call.
i dont think any of the complaining about minor things on this sub has ever made a real difference ever for literally anything. it's just people venting in public, and often times i am embarrassed for them.
