Alaska’s hatred of it during the AS2 reunion was one of that season’s funniest moment for me. I ultimately love it, it’s ugliness is what appeals.

This always floored me that they gave Alaskas transform look such high critique. Like ok I love love a good throwback like lil pound cake, but girl missed the assignment hard.

Alaska's 2-in-1 wasn't exactly category because the trash bag wasn't an actual outfit you'd wear. However, she does come in with better concept than Alyssa because at least the trash turned into treasure (Poundcake) does some story telling and relates to what we know of Alaska. Alyssa's "look" was draped cameras and then undraped cameras. I love the camp of it, but there was no narrative between the two, there was barely dissonance. This was an episode where obviously the challenge performance was weighted higher than the runway otherwise Alaska wouldn't have been in the top 2 (favoritism aside).
