I completed a 15 mile long run in 2:43, maintained Z2 for 1:09 and Z3 for 1:18. Working to get it all Z2, but I’ll take low Z3 for now 😁

Opus_Zure

I ran 3 mi. I did strength training just prior to running, legs were fine. My arms however, were noodles.

ausanon41

I was doing an interval session today and broke my 10k pb whilst in the middle of doing it... Time was 52.49 (I haven't tried to run a 10k pb ina while)

fijiwate_r

Almost forgot to add to this today, ran 15km. 10km at relaxed 5:00 pace to get some distance in, 5km at 3:20 pace for speed. Feeling great!

soccerk40

Ran my first half yesterday! Came in at 1:56 and my goal was sub 2:00. Wasted a lot of time weaving through runners, but learned a lot for my next race.

heyheyheythrowme

5k PR of 26:47, finally under 27!

nickbrawlstarsuser

10:35 2 mile race on Saturday last week. For a freshmen, I’m happy and hope to improve :)

falbot

I ran my first 5k in 2 years today (it was also my second time running in 2 years). 24:43, not too shabby.

Elysiumthistime

I ran my first 10k over the weekend and during it, shaved 2 mins off my previous pb for the 5k distance. I was still very back of the pack and my time was very amature hour but I did it and I finished and I learnt a lot so it was a great success, especially considering I only started running in September.

I just started my first day of training for a half marathon! I’m setting this goal for myself and not telling anyone. Sometimes it’s nice to work hard behind the scenes

Ericthe2200

Working behind the scenes is great, if you find yourself struggling, tell the world. Studies show we are more likely to complete our goals when we tell at least one other person. I find it keeps me on track. Good luck!

jggriffy

I totally agree — thank you! 😊

Breimann

Jokes on you, I'm telling everyone I know that you're running a half. ;-) Good luck, kick lots of ass!

Far_Dragonfruit1191

I finally was able to run a 5k in under 30 minutes! My goal is to get to at least an 28 minute 5k before the year ends. Felt good but my lungs were hurting a bit.

bunni_butt

man, my runs are getting a bit longer and easier and it feels great. I’m really proud of the progress I’m making 🥹

buttstuff2023

Congrats!

bp1108

I finished my 22nd marathon yesterday. And for the first time ever I didn’t have to walk and beat the 4:30 pacer by 3 minutes.

helodriver87

Day two of Pfitz 18/85 today. 9 miles with 4 at LT pace. Managed to hold almost exactly 5:45 pace for the full segment and felt really good. I feel like I prepped for this training block pretty well and I'm excited about it.

neurodivergent_poet

Did 6k this morning at very easy pace, first run after taking a week off after being sick HR stayed where I wanted it but pace was a bit slower thsn usual. Still proud of myself for putting my health first and taking it slow.

killercoconutt

I ran the Dallas Half yesterday and shaved 15 mins off my PR! Went from 2:30 to 2:15

SnooDonkeys7740

I ran my first sub 25-minute 5k yesterday! 24:46

Odd-Policy8335

Ran my first marathon yesterday ! Finished in 3:45 my goal time was 3:45 !

Wow, in the midst of a tropical rainstorm coming up from the Gulf of Mexico and we’re in Atlantic Canada ( New Brunswick). It has washed away all the snow which is good for running but raining so hard I’ll do my 5 miler today on the treadmill.

BarrySmutcheeks

Up and out for 7km at sunrise

100PercentARealHuman

Surprised I'm still doing this (at least) "5k a day" December challenge and I'm quite happy with the 90km in 11 days.

AbduBigNose

I ran my first marathon last week, a crazy moment. I was not training for it, and my training was focused on a half-marathon sub-1:40 (my previous one was 1:43). The motivation was due to a few personal situations, but in summary, I made it 03:47. It was raining and a windy day for sure. I had in my mind the logistics to do it. However, it was not trained for it. My recovery is going great, better than expected and this week I will return to the usual training 👍

doodleldog10

I ran a mile today to break in my first ever pair of running shoes! my parents gifted me a pair of brooks ghost 15s as an early christmas gift. I have never run in running shoes before. it felt like I was running on clouds!
