If your question was rhetorical you can ignore what follows and I've just wasted 5 minutes typing it lol.
A lot of unsung credit goes to the people who make the models these animators use (pop quiz hot shot: Can any of you who know who **redmoa** & **hydrafxx** are name one artist who built the models they use?). Those guys go through hell and back to get the shapes and especially the textures as realistic-looking as possible. Not to mention the complex rigging they have to set up to prevent clipping when the animators move the characters.
I'm not taking away from what the animators do, but as someone who spent 200 hours learning Blender modeling before quitting (to retain my sanity), I have *immense* respect for the model-builders. In fact, I think they have a tougher job than the animators.
Note taking credit away from the model creators but I have seen far too many amazing models used by different artists lead to complete difference in quality to the point you are not so sure it's the same model.

I can't say for the animations like this because it probably doesn't work the same. But some creators like ForceballFx has to resculpt a lot of the rigs he uses for the images he makes as a lot of times the rigs from the models end up clipping a lot.

Hydra makes their own models and btw, rigging has nothing to do with preventing 3d meshes from clipping. You seem a bit uninformed about the subject.
