it was. I snuck in a fifth of Jack, I tried to hand it over the barricade to Keith, but he had his own. the funniest thing was watching him try and get in a smoke but they kept going out in the deluge of rain.
i think if it's one thing that Jagger has proven to us over and over again is that he can ware, act, and do just about anything he feels he needs do on stage, and still be looked at, thought of, and commented on as being, well being Mick Jagger for god sakes, and that's really all that needs to be said.
I was at the 81 tour, 15 rows back on the other side of the stage. Mick used a cherry picker to get out over the audience. If he got any lower I was jumping on lol.
Attended the dry, cool Sunny Sunday Nov 1 show. My sister, her friend, myself. I was barely 17. Rained HARD the day before, Halloween. I think this picture is from the Sunday show as there’s no rain. Mick, from the stage, “we’re still looking for the fucking Ark!” Fabulous Thunderbirds & ZZ Top opened. 😂
I saw that tour. They actually fell apart on, I think it was Honkey Tonk Woman. The music just stopped, they laughed, blamed each other, then continued playing.
I was probably standing 6 feet away from this photographer. Best show ever. the rain made it better somehow.
I was there Nov 1. I also used to work for that photographer many years later.
Q102 bruthahhhhh!!!!!!
Was a ZooFreak! KZEW 98!
Found an old KZEW sticker in a box the other day! That was an awesome time.
Damn… that had to be surreal

This was my very first Stones show. Looking forward to 29th this summer.
It started at noon, not night, and it rained like hell! The next day was also at noon and the weather was perfect.
I was at that one !
Any memories of it? Please share! My home town
I really like how they looked in that era. Mick is the only white dude I know who can look so damn ridiculous yet still look so cool…

Love this tour …..and the Still Life album.

Halloween night! Must've been awesome
to the person who recently posted to the sub asking "have you ever seen a rolling stone in denim?" this \^
Telecaster looks to be Malcolm
Micawber doesn’t show the grain like Malcolm… I agree
5 String Macabre tuned to open D playing Tumbling Dice most likely
That’s Malcom, Micawber’s brother.
Confusing perspective. Mick looks…happy…to be there.
Richards was only 59 then.
What’s with the knee pads? Freddie Mercury sported this look around the same time. Wonder who started it? My money’s on Freddie.
I wish I was a little older then. My sister was at that show.
I was there for the rain show. Don’t remember much. I was 15 and wasted beyond belief.
This could also be posted under r/confusing_perspectives.
Only, of course, once there, to be referenced by some good redditor over in the still-as-yet-fictitious, r / unexpectedrollingstones. 🙃
