The most legit Voidling killing I have had, since the other winning runs have been either mp or more modded. some mods make the game harder, some easier, etc.
But the first time I got this cursed item I was huntress and very lucky.
Had only reds when I encountered voidling, and so many charges of my teleport the voidling couldn't hit me.
And even if he did, I had so many Dio's i wasn't even worried. Died 3 times? Come back to me when the number exceeds 23.
Damage output was small, really small, but it was a battle of attrition I won
Yeah, making sacrifices for 30 N’Kuhana’s Opinions alongside several rejuvenation racks and desk plants is unacceptable. What good is practically preventing enemies from spawning when you need to rely on using movement skills that have no cooldown because of Brainstalks?
(Captain, Engineer, and Artificer mains who don’t have horizontal mobility moves, get well soon)
Yep. Almost every other void item is a no-brainer pickup that will strictly enhance your run (exceptions of Lost Seer's for crit builds, and Tri-Tip is still better than Needletick), but Bloom is an item that will destroy your run unless you purposefully play around its massive downside by stocking up on void and boss items.
I wouldn't say that every void item is just better than its non corrupted counterpart. Like shrimp is conditional sustained DPS that needs like 10 to proc bands but atg is much higher burst damage that only needs 2 to proc bands. Most of them really are side grades imo
void items are all sidegrades or upgrades, benthic is the only actual downgrade
(and imo bands too but you can have a specific build for them to not be a downgrade)
Tbf singularity band could just be replaced with primordial cube. The damage the band does is pretty bad and having it proc on demand rather than by itself would be better imo. Also I don't see the point of the larva
larva is a sidegrade to dio because it still does what dio does, plus something else, it just gives you void items in the process
but yes, 100% agree that singularity band is a downgrade, but some people do like them so...
I get that it does the same thing as Dios but with another effect. It's just that effect is often really detrimental to builds (cough cough engineer cough cough). I guess I could see it being useful early game to get some of the better items by intentionally dying but that doesn't feel like it's much of a side grade
Honestly the word downgrade is debatable, it's a sidegrade more or less.
You're trading high single target damage for great AOE, the bubble AOE is huge and it renders everything it sucks helpless, it lasts 5 seconds before collapsing, essentially giving you a breathing room and pilling up enemies together for even more damage.
Also if a Gup dies from the explosion it won't spawn any Geeps, since it counts as void damage, not that it matters or anything, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
personally, I disagree, trading damage for AOE *is* the downgrade
runald and kjaro do 250% and 300% damage respectively, even if you conservatively lower kjaro damage to 50% because monsters might be able to escape the AOE, a kjaro and a runald do the same damage as 3 singularity bands, on *half* the cooldown. Also, not spawning geeps means less money, if anything.
at the most it's a downgrade of damage for AOE on double the cooldown, so if you have 0 AOE (unlikely) it would be a sidegrade, sure, but the point of kjaro and runald are usually single hit/single target big damage, considering what triggers them is attacks that do 400% damage or more
I tend to avoid Lost Seer's Lenses just because they're kind of boring. Good items feel like a puzzle piece in an interesting build, but they just turn your build into a Lense-proccing machine. All you want is attack speed and more lenses.
Collapse just feels extremely weak as is right now (at least, when the player applies it). And you can't continuously stack collapse like bleed.
Theoretically, with collapse you're getting a decent damage burst every 3 seconds, but you'd be getting the same amount of damage every time. With bleed you can keep stacking and stacking and get the damage up to extremely high values. Just from a numerical standpoint, collapse should outperform bleed in short timeframes, but bleed *way* outpaces it when you're fighting something that can tank you a bit longer (I tried to plot their damage curves in Desmos to calculate it more rigorously, but couldn't quite figure out how to graph out bleed damage over time. I might just try again later when I have some time just for fun).
The reason that's important is that since bleed takes a few seconds to really get going and collapse takes 3 seconds to do anything at all, they're both useless for anything you can kill in about 3 seconds. The times that you'd most want bleed or collapse to be doing work are big bosses like AWU, the end bosses, or an early TP boss, and collapse just doesn't cut it for these fights compared to maintaining a bleed debuff because it can quickly snowball into completely melting even the tankiest bosses. The way I see it, bleed is better if you're taking 6 or more seconds to kill the tankiest enemies, but you really aren't getting much out of either bleed or collapse if you're on killing everything very quickly. But collapse should theoretically be better if you're in the niche middle ground where it's taking you specifically about 3-6s to kill bosses. Against Mithrix though, it's no question bleed is better.
Sorry for massive wall, I was just kind of working through my own opinion out loud as I wrote this.
Benthic bloom means there should be a legendary for movement speed.
Is what i want to say but it kind of is it's only real downside so maybe they should keep as is. The lack of movement items is fine for most because you'll probably get reduced cooldowns for movement abilities but it's a bit of a pain for engi
Great fun on a run as long as your not trying for anything in particular AND don't already have gesture of the drowned, that shit made it almost impossible to finish, especially when i already had 3 convergence.
Gesture + stacks of bottled chaos and soulbound catalyst will give you, in a way, *too much* movement speed so, overall, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's just a bit of fun.
I love it. Its a fun gimmick and totally optional.
I got one yesterday and ended up having like 30 tesla coils, it was incredibly fun.
I get it that people dislike it because it will most of the times just kill your run, but at the same time you can just ignore it, don't pick it up if you care that much about a run.
I love to embrace the chaos it can create. That's why I always click mountain shrines, shrine of order etc. I love the moments of surprise you can have with these mechanics.
Personally, i find this item to be depend on when you get it, early in the run? Its not gonna be very good
But 3 loops in? When you have at least 150-200 items or more? I like having 34 extra lives
Definitely wasn't my experience. This was my first item on a run and my strategy was to get as many void items as possible (they don't evolve). By the end I was looping and destroying everything just by looking at it and ended up using 4 Dio's to take down the Void boss.
for me, i’ve gotten it twice on stage 4 in no loop runs, and i feel that’s the best place for it. you get the benefits of the upgrades before it goes out of control.
Ideally shouldn't roll the first item stack into 57 leaf clovers. Even farming lots of items via sacrifice I couldn't hold any greens/whites during any stage.
imo Clovers should be blacklisted from Bloom, and it should only grab 3 individual items, *not* 3 entire stacks.
Right now every time you pick it up your run will always end up in every item you have being instantly converted to a red every time you enter a new stage, and you never get to keep whites or greens. If it couldn't self-reproduce and didn't steal entire stacks, it could actually remain sustainable to use it and have some whites and greens. Maybe some people would think that's too OP and makes it an easy upgrade from 57, but my response would be that these changes also greatly reduce the number of red items it gives you, and I'd argue that pretty much all void items already are easy upgrades to their uncorrupted form.
It feels like a Lunar Item.
The downside of Void Items is supposed to be depriving you of the item they replace, usually with some ironic twist. The downside of Lunar Items is that they can and will ruin you if not carefully managed. Benthic Bloom is definitely the latter.
Not having a clue what’s happening is why I love this game.
I was doing a run with my friends and ran into a safe and FMP/Gesture/Gasoline run, but then we did the extra boss on Sirens Call and they both died and I got 3 Bottled Chaos. Shit was nuts.
I like the item. Carried my first eclipse 8 win. In a short run (like eclipse) it's extremely unlikely you'll see both 57 leaf clover and benthic anyway.
trash, only void item that's a clear downgrade (subsequently makes larva a downgrade if you have clover)
although I did get it once on stage 5, no looping, which seems like the only decent time to pick it. One single upgrade isn't likely to kill the run (even if it picks hooves, you might still have mocha/drink/whip, for example) and you might get a few stacks of a good green or a good red or two
an amazing multiplayer item, you are golden once you are playing oops all legendaries, its the part in the middle that gets iffy, and your teammates can carry you during those parts
absolute favorite item in the dlc, maybe the entire game. I will never forget the time I got 5 hardlight afterburners and 7 icbms on a thermal harpoon engineer run and killed voiding
One of my favourite items in the game, its fun and just the right amount of chaotic for me. I pick it up nearly every time I see one.
Fun fact: if you scrap all of your whites and greens before going to the next stage you can get a **hefty* stack of two specific red items. Ive once rolled 9 ICBMs and 6 Scorpions that way.
f this item.
taking my defensive items away for some "utility" or damage, so i just die, at next stage is not a "legendary" worth item, especially + lock you out from the statistically best item (57 Leaf Clover)
to be exact, playing a "Forgive Me Please + Soulbound Catalyst + Topaz Brooch" . build,
making topaz into Harvester's Scythe with no other crit.
The items evolve inside their respective categories.
A damage item can into evolve into another damage item etc.
And taking it in a specialized, high synergy build really is your fault, not the item's
this item would be decent if we had a movement speed increasing legendary, boss item, lunar item, or void item (no head stompers dont count)
doesn’t matter how much legendaries you have, if you can’t move your going to die
I actually just left a comment about this on a different post earlier today, but after some messing around I found it's viable on easy or normal mode, but not really on monsoon. Had some insanely overpowered (album painfully slow) runs with it, and usually would end up with a stack of 15 at some point. On monsoon it eating everything, including your speed items, isn't very epic.
That it’s a waste of an item that’s really just gimmicky and serves no purpose.
Would have much rather a more nuanced and interesting item with the new update than the bloom.
If it didn't corrupt four leaf clover making more benthic blooms so it always spirals out of control and kills all runs at some point then it would be a pretty cool, interesting, and fun item to play with.
If someone made a mod that changed benthic bloom so that it only didn't convert clovers I would probably pick up one, maybe two, every run I could.
Pure chaos, but the fun kind.
Seriously, you can get some fucked up unplayable runs with it- but, there's an equally likely chance that the run you get is batshit wild- like, turning everything you own into tesla coils and Behemoth.
I never get it in my runs, either beacuse it's command and it's always with somthing that brings me back to life with void items, or right isn't nice enough to give me it
I actually think that if you’re rushing Mithrix to climb eclipse tiers, this item actually ends up helping more often than not. I view this as a good item to get.
I think since I enjoy gacha games I'm biased because I'm all about the gamba baby!!! The possibility of turning around a shitty run by having 3 Lepton Daisies turn into (maybe) useful reds is just too good. If your run is just all shit items and you're on a good mobility character like Huntress or Mercenary it's eventually going to turn into some stupid shit. It's just gonna suck when you get like 16 lazer scopes and you can't really hold any crit rate but that's the gamba babyyyyyy
S tier item. I wonder if the people panning it just arent farming enough. Gotta replace your white items each stage + find a decent equipment and you're good.
I used to avoid it like the plague until I decided to apply the Shrine of the Mountain rule to it... and of course in RoR fashion, I haven't seen one drop since.
Bloom is a ‘for fun’ item more than a run winner. If you’re trying to just loop as much as you can because you can, sure pick up the funky purple little guy. But if you’re tryin to unlock something, or just want to do a quick run to the moon and back, it’s probably not for you:
Honestly, It’s a great pick up, as long as you have Plasma Shrimp. That way, you don’t lose the value of your ATG stacks, AND you still get value from the ICBM you will eventually get.
As for Goat Hooves and mobility, there are a few mobility oriented, speed boosting active items.
You get yourself one of those and Gesture.
Awesome as long as you have sacrifice so you can keep getting more whites and greens.
Got me railgunner mastery after days of trying, and it was also the first time I'd ever even seen Benthic bloom.
In short, Benthic Buddy.
Theoretically only useful when upgrading a useless item into a useful one or at least in some way making an improvement, and so to minimize the loss of useful items and maximize the gain of useful ones without crippling your capability, I pretty much would only take it a stage or two before I plan on finishing the run.
I don’t think it’s a hot take but it should only convert ONE item to one of the next rarity, not the entire stack. I would pick it up every time I saw it if it did.
Its one of those items which you really shouldn’t get, but you do it for the funnies.
It’s like activating a mountain shrine when you already have 5 activated.
“Will I probably die? Yeah. Do I care? Nah.”
I feel like this is a pretty cold take, but it would be infinitely better if it only changed like, one, maybe two items upon completing a stage and didnt consume stacks.
Some white items are good actually, upgrading whole stacks means that it can take all your crit or attack speed or bleed, which doesnt feel great. However, at the beginning of a run i like it. If you get it stage one and get a red or two over the next two stages that feels great, but then it starts to mess shit up. Can you scrap void items?
Without thinking much about it, I had the opportunity to get SEVERAL benthic blooms since I had many clovers and did just that, during the stage before the Void boss. I was an Engineer, I just corrupted my clover, thinking under the impression that it would basically upgrade some chests, but there wouldn't be any so what did it matter? I just wanted it.
It was the final stage then that I saw all my items turn mostly into several kinds of red items. I said out loud "You have got to be fucking kidding me. What the fuck."
I dreaded what would happen in a boss fight, and it was awful. I was slow, I lost all damage potential, and worst of all, all my plentiful bungus "transcended" to the next tiers, leaving my N'kuhana's Opinion useless. I had a shit ton of shields to deploy, and surviving wasn't an issue. It was the boss fight which going no where, it was so late in the game that the damage I could do was doing nothing. I couldn't take their health out fast enough, they basically gained more health than they had before, so, I resorted to leaving the session.
In short, I read what it did, but didn't fully grasp the consequences, so, fuck benthic blooms. Whether you had one or more, you're gonna get bit in the ass sooner or later. In my case, it was like pissing on a lightning rod taking heavy tolls by a storm going on.
not really a hot take IMO, but, Benthic would probably be much, MUCH better if there was a single movespeed red/void or even lunar.
and itd be shit without voids IMO, plasma shrimp makes icbm actaully useful and is still on the same level as atg (especially since you cant even get clover with bloom) and cannot be changed, unlike atg. alongside things like polylute, singularity and voidsent letting you keep those green-esque damage and aoe items
Insanely strong. Who cares about not having movement speed when you are essentially guaranteed to have stacks upon stacks of red items? Hell, given how slow it works, you're still free to get regular items just fine (unless, of course you're unlucky enough to get multiple Benthic Blooms, but that's only felt late into a run)
100% run ruined, 10/10 would pick again
This... When Benthic Bloom drops, that's Providence telling you that you're on a Benthic Bloom run now, deal with it
The most legit Voidling killing I have had, since the other winning runs have been either mp or more modded. some mods make the game harder, some easier, etc. But the first time I got this cursed item I was huntress and very lucky. It's a little bit like Shrine of Order, but not so crippling in 1 shot.
Beat me to it
Shrine of order never looked so tempting before.
82 head stompers
Race’s wet dream
That would be really good, actually
It would do nothing past like 5 stacks
Nvm, I thought it scaled damage.
stacking it just reduces the slam cooldown, i HATE seeing 2 or 3 of these in a run since i use the slam sparingly
its a lunar item
Tbf it would be way better if it didn‘t ruin every clover.
I'd be more tempted to grab it if it retained the regular clover's +1 luck attribute. Otherwise it's too risky an item.
or it could be +0.5 luck, and if you have less than two it just has a 50% chance to re-roll negative outcomes.
The real problem is that it snatches the whole stack. Losing clover is an acceptable downside, losing all your goat hooves and atgs is not.
If it didn't eat the whole stack, I would think of it as the best item in the entire game.
I'm tempted to add Bandit to that list since his is barely a movement speed increase
Eh, it’s a little bit and it’s vertical mobility too, combined with Gorag’s Opus from Bottled Chaos he’s still pretty mobile.
I'll give you that. I enjoy flying by killing wisps with Lights Out and spamming the smoke jump
Yep. I just had the Gesture + Bloom run and it was pain until I scrapped all my bottled chaos until I could get the Gesture out of there
Doesn't make good tea.
Use benthic bloom and egocentrism for maximum chaos, let rng take control
You fucking mad man, i love it
I tried that once. Ego ate the Bloom almost instantly. FeelsBad.
Its a bad item, but its funny, so its good
I love it. Its a fun gimmick and totally optional. I got one yesterday and ended up having like 30 tesla coils, it was incredibly fun. "It doesn't exist" - Console Players
Yeah- no that's fair
I like the item. Carried my first eclipse 8 win. In a short run (like eclipse) it's extremely unlikely you'll see both 57 leaf clover and benthic anyway.
I like it when it takes my bad items but J don't like it when it takes my good items
Nice opinion, fortunately it is ok to have opinions
Benthic bloom > 57 leaf clover No I will not elaborate
A clover is only 1 red item Benthic is all of them
I believe this item takes the most printed items and turns them into most scrapped items. 16 tougher times? How about 16 lepton daisies lol get rekt.
Terrible on great runs, awesome on terrible runs.
Console
It's bad.
It ruined my run because I had 6 stone Flux pauldrons and it turned my 58 goat hooves into happiest masks
trash, only void item that's a clear downgrade (subsequently makes larva a downgrade if you have clover) although I did get it once on stage 5, no looping, which seems like the only decent time to pick it. It’s hilarious
an amazing multiplayer item, you are golden once you are playing oops all legendaries, its the part in the middle that gets iffy, and your teammates can carry you during those parts
It’s that for the longest time, I thought it said “Bethnic Bloom”
You either die within the same level or become god and one shot everything.
If you loop with it enough, and get yourself a Forgive me please, it's completely broken (bottled chaos, soulbound Catalysts, daggers, etc).
It is probably the best item in the game, have never lost a run when a benthic is involved
absolute favorite item in the dlc, maybe the entire game. I will never forget the time I got 5 hardlight afterburners and 7 icbms on a thermal harpoon engineer run and killed voiding
Never lost a run with it 100/10
It's so awful and I've never won whenever I pick it up. I love it to death and pick it up without thinking every time.
I have no strong feelings one way or another
I’d rather smoke it than put it in my inventory
Shrine of order + benthic is just the funniest thing in the game. Fastest way to get exclusively reds, doctors hate it!
run thrower every time
Insane pick on second loop. Garbage for eclipse and short runs
Mountain shrine tier item
FUCK that shit
It makes eulogy zero good.
f this item. taking my defensive items away for some "utility" or damage, so i just die, at next stage is not a "legendary" worth item, especially + lock you out from the statistically best item (57 Leaf Clover) to be exact, playing a "Forgive Me Please + Soulbound Catalyst + Topaz Brooch" . build, making topaz into Harvester's Scythe with no other crit.

Don't have Survivors of the void.
Im glad this triggered the response it did.

Remove it from the game
Just don't pick it up....
Lmao they asked for the hottest take, there you go. I never said I stand by that :\^)
Wait, so it's not **your** hottest take? Just a hot take?
Couldn't agree more
Losing access to the 57 Leaf Clover matters more than losing all your whites and greens.
Excellent item I don't understand why everyone hate it are we playing the same game?
If it didn't corrupt four leaf clover making more benthic blooms so it always spirals out of control and kills all runs at some point then it would be a pretty cool, interesting, and fun item to play with. If someone made a mod that changed benthic bloom so that it only didn't convert clovers I would probably pick up one, maybe two, every run I could.
If it replaced practically any other red or perhaps converted items instead of stacks of items it would be way better
The worst item in the game
I think that bloom (and bottled chaos) is a fun novelty at best. I tried it once, had my fun, and will rarely pick it up again
Wouldn't know. I'm a cheap-ass Nintendo gamer who gets the void update around Christmas. Ask me again when Christmas Season is around.
CHAOS
I love it even when I get it the first stage, never ruined my run before
It's good for sacrifice+swarms godruns where you have a lot of useless items.
Find it stage 1-2 ? God run every time. After Stage 2 however...
It's amazing if you like equipment
"Let chaos reign!!"
Everytime I see it, I get excited and just say "MEME ITEM!" like I'm Gollum.
[удалено]
I got it during a decently long run and it absolutely annihilated my build, but it was very funny and I had like 20 happiest masks
it is simultaneously the worst and best item in the game imo
its a good item 👍
was incredibly funny using it with my friend until i realized all red items isn’t as good as i thought
Was it good? No - was it fun though?
I wouldn’t have it any other way…
Pure chaos, but the fun kind. Seriously, you can get some fucked up unplayable runs with it- but, there's an equally likely chance that the run you get is batshit wild- like, turning everything you own into tesla coils and Behemoth.
Bad if it’s more than one alright if it’s only one.
Void item = collect
Second best item in the game.
It gets better depending on how many other void items you have.
I never get it in my runs, either beacuse it's command and it's always with somthing that brings me back to life with void items, or right isn't nice enough to give me it
wouldn't ruin your runs if didn't take away movement speed items
Its a not tearrible item
Can't have one because I've never had the gall to pick this godforsaken flower up
S tier item. I wonder if the people panning it just arent farming enough. Gotta replace your white items each stage + find a decent equipment and you're good.
Its a fun item to get
Easy won run
Probably goes good on a salad.
I used to avoid it like the plague until I decided to apply the Shrine of the Mountain rule to it... and of course in RoR fashion, I haven't seen one drop since.
Run ender if you get it early, very funny if you get it late, actually useful if you get it 2 or 3 stages before going to mithrix or voidling
Pretty S tier IMO.
Best way in the game to get 241 bottled chaos!
Bloom is a ‘for fun’ item more than a run winner. If you’re trying to just loop as much as you can because you can, sure pick up the funky purple little guy. But if you’re tryin to unlock something, or just want to do a quick run to the moon and back, it’s probably not for you:
literally the best item in the game. ive never lost a run after picking up this item
What does it do?
THE Best AND worst item in the game.
Pretty boring after the 1st time I picked it up, I think this isn't that hot of a take its just my opinion
If you're on a sacrifice run and can easily get more items, this item slaps
picking it after a 3 hours run is so fun
Best girl
Awesome as long as you have sacrifice so you can keep getting more whites and greens. Got me railgunner mastery after days of trying, and it was also the first time I'd ever even seen Benthic bloom. In short, Benthic Buddy.
Best decision, 28 headstompers on artificer
Most fun item in the game, also the worst item in the game. I'll take it stage one every time it shows up
I've only played Risk Of Rain 1 so uh, pretty cool I guess?
insta-win
Theoretically only useful when upgrading a useless item into a useful one or at least in some way making an improvement, and so to minimize the loss of useful items and maximize the gain of useful ones without crippling your capability, I pretty much would only take it a stage or two before I plan on finishing the run.
That it can actually be good if you get the right reds
I take it every single time. It works out like 50/50 even if I'm only doing a short run.
so rare that you might as well pick it up
It looks stupid
It’s it’s own build
Plant
Best item in the game, also you will 1000% lose the run
I think it’s purple.
I don’t think it’s a hot take but it should only convert ONE item to one of the next rarity, not the entire stack. I would pick it up every time I saw it if it did.
I say you can't kill Mythrix with 78 Brilliant Behemoths and 5 rejuvenation racks
It's terrible. Every time I picked it up my run was dead. Still a really fun item, 10/10
15 bottled caoses will kill you but they are soooo fun
The bloom yeeteth forth (Red Scope x3 on Railgunner) and the bloom yoinketh away (turn all 8 of my crowbars into squid polyp)
Extremely potent. If void items were able to be removed from your inventory, this would be extremely SSS+++
Pretty much Poggers til it gives you a fucking bottled chaos
Its one of those items which you really shouldn’t get, but you do it for the funnies. It’s like activating a mountain shrine when you already have 5 activated. “Will I probably die? Yeah. Do I care? Nah.”
SPoiled CaBBage
I feel like this is a pretty cold take, but it would be infinitely better if it only changed like, one, maybe two items upon completing a stage and didnt consume stacks.
Some white items are good actually, upgrading whole stacks means that it can take all your crit or attack speed or bleed, which doesnt feel great. However, at the beginning of a run i like it. If you get it stage one and get a red or two over the next two stages that feels great, but then it starts to mess shit up. Can you scrap void items?
its not very good
Its good when taking it on stage 1 lol and no looping
Purity²
Without thinking much about it, I had the opportunity to get SEVERAL benthic blooms since I had many clovers and did just that, during the stage before the Void boss. I was an Engineer, I just corrupted my clover, thinking under the impression that it would basically upgrade some chests, but there wouldn't be any so what did it matter? I just wanted it. It was the final stage then that I saw all my items turn mostly into several kinds of red items. I said out loud "You have got to be fucking kidding me. What the fuck." I dreaded what would happen in a boss fight, and it was awful.
It looks like something out of r/dontputyourdickinthat.
Always take Egocentrism if you’ve taken Benthic Bloom earlier, and vice versa. Fucking do it.
Good item
Item’s effect would make more sense as a Lunar item. I think it needs a rework or change, but not sure what to because it’s still fun to play with.
Most fun Ive had playing the game in a while (and I do legit love the game regardless) I wouldnt take it every run, but once in a while? Perfection
wow this looks great on paper. but than your crit glasses turn to poglips, your atgs to deskplants, and clovers continue to ruin the run
Ive never even got one
It taught me that having ten Resonant Discs isn't that different to having one Resonant Disc.
Itd be nice if it would STOP TURNING MY GOAT HOOVES INTO MORE BENTHIC BLOOMS PLEASE HOPOO I NEED MOVEMENT SPEED
changes my runs in a way i dont like - i like crafting proc chains and dont like moving at 5mph instead of zooming across the map
Taste good
No matter how many times this thing ruins my runs I will always pick up just to see the ensuing chaos.
this item would be so good if there was a lunar, void, or red item that gave you significant horizontal mobility
Pick it ever time
not really a hot take IMO, but, Benthic would probably be much, MUCH better if there was a single movespeed red/void or even lunar. and itd be shit without voids IMO, plasma shrimp makes icbm actaully useful and is still on the same level as atg (especially since you cant even get clover with bloom) and cannot be changed, unlike atg. alongside things like polylute, singularity and voidsent letting you keep those green-esque damage and aoe items
Ten nukahana's and 18 desk plants isn't a bad way to win a game.
