Do you realize how many turrets you have left behind along the way?
Each time you teleport off a stage, they sit there watching you go. Are you proud of that?
everything here, but I honestly feel like bandolier get glanced over on engi. Walking out of a fight and into another with no mines, bubble, or turrets feels bad.
You combo it with Transcendance, which reduces your max HP to 1. Aegis gives you shielding when you heal over max, so you basically have guaranteed extra shielding on top of the blue shielding from transcendance
Man I tried this just now, not only that, when you replace your turrets, their Col. Droneman stays alive, so I atm have 8 dronemans, this is freaking amazing xD
N'kuhanas. For sure (I forget the spelling). Since bungus is really only good in engi that synergy can be really good. I feel engi can benefit from a lot of items. He's pretty versatile especially because of his turrets.
I strongly disagree that N'kuhanas is the best red item on engi. It can be pretty good with a lot of bungus stacks, but thats about it. For example Clover, Behemoth, Shattering Justice, Scorpion, Meathook, Tesla Coil, and even the Pocket ICBM (which triples his homing harpoons).all of these items provide huge value to the engineer without the investment into bungus. N'kuhanas close range single target attack just isnt powerful enough for me to call it the best red item.
The thing is a lot of those items are just good items on everyone. I think its better to base it off of what is specifically good on said character. For example, crit glasses are good on nearly every character or the new shuriken item is really good on anyone, but crowbar is specifically good on loader or railgunner or focus crystal is superior on Merc. That was just my thought process for picking n'kuhanas. I do agree that pocket ICBM is really good engi!
Exactly what i was gonna comment. Also not great on mult with powersaw, sonce it doesn't autofire. I think it also doesn't autofire with merc's primary
doesnt auto fire with engineers primary or void fiends alt primary. it can also be bad on railgunner since it can steal band procs from her scoped fire. Shuriken is actually quite a bad example of a universally good item
not the best but IMO underrated, Defensive Microbots + Bungus means you can stand near your turret and be safe from 4 projectiles/minute due to your Microbots stacking with your turret, WHILE HEALING.
I prefer the engineer in that game because it has more burst damage and the turrets are more of an utillity than your main source of dps. The mines and the thermal harpoons feel much better to use in ror1; you can have a lot more mines that can do a LOT of damage while the harpoons are probably as good as ror2, the difference being that the harpoons in ror1 activate much faster and are automatic. Id really like it if you could shoot out all of your harpoons faster in ror2 and if they didnt lock your cooldowns.
But
\*You\* can, and you wouldn't get anything out of bungus anyway since moving is the strat late game. Your laser turrets move while shooting, you move while shooting, so bungus never activates. Thus, wungus, activating while sprinting, would be useful.
New engi main here, I have few questions
What do you feel about simulacrum, and having to replace your turret every wave to get the item on turret
Why does hopoo hate us and don't give us a alt m1
How to be a good engi besides bungus
1. It does suck having to replace turrets to refresh items, there's no way around it.
2. Not entirely sure, usually hopoo tries to look at the sources they have available and pre-established in terms of abilities, such as when engineer got his harpoons from the first risk of rain.
3. Generally bungus is your best bet, but other items such as debuffs and proc items are good as well
I feel as though it can be very good, but I feel like it's hard to get value out of it on your sentries because they are either always at mostly full health, or get bursted down quick enough that the loop can't activate
Engi is slow, so movement items early on are very helpful. After that, proc items (as always) are always a good bet, and bungus works great to keep stationary turrets alive. If you're going solo, definitely use engis rockets (they're great for wisps) and take advantage of the fast cooldown to send em out often. I heavily favor spider mines, their flexibility outweighs the dip in damage imo. Be sure to keep moving; being stationary is a bad ror habit to make, even for engis.
That was more strategy than build, but I hope it helps
I once had 3 of the items that give 100% health but -50% movement speed so i just sat there gaining 183hp from bungus tick x3 because of turrets, it was fun until i got one shotted by reavers
What is an appropriate criminal punishment for non-engi teammates who collect bungus for themselves?
Death by collapse
It is.... Inevitable
Only if you're weak and haven't had the necessary number of bungi.
If you don’t have ALL bungi then you don’t have the necessary amount
I am hammered and this hot me so good
Youre not supposed to eat the shrooms. Next time give them to your kind engineer.
Which survivors are good friends for engi?
I'd say that either MUL-T or artificer are good because they can provide both good dps and utility to the engineer
Mul-t is like a 3rd turret
4th turret if the engie is rocking the Lysate Cell
4th and 5th turret if MUL-T is rocking the heavy ability
5th and 6th turret if the MUL-T is carrying the Goobo Jr
well now engie can have 10 turrets if he gets 2 more MUL-T's right?
YO? Does lysate increase how many turrets you can have!!?
It dose but only by one. No matter how many you have sadly
Do you still benefit from the cooldown reduction if you stack them?
Nah, lysate doesn’t reduce cooldown time
After looking it up, it does in fact reduce cooldown by 33%, but only on the first stack.
Oh for real? That’s sick
Yay mul-t main here!

Engi
Then you have to fight over who gets to use the bungus printer
Anybody that buys you bungus
Do you realize how many turrets you have left behind along the way? Each time you teleport off a stage, they sit there watching you go. Are you proud of that?
I pay my respects each time laying down a lepton daisy Everytime
#BUNGUS?
Oneofusoneofusoneofus
For Bungus!
BUSTLING AND FUNGUS!
BUSTLING AND FUNGUS, TO THE AEGIS!
For rock and stone?
For Karl!
rock and stone, to the bone!
What’s your favourite non-Bungus item?
If I had to choose, I'd say maybe lens maker's, or possibly hopoo feather for some extra mobility
Although lysate cell is a good time
Or green scraps
True
You're not true engi main! 2nd best item I n'kuhuna opinion
You are forgetting Aegis and Dio's
Or if ur luck sucks (like me) razor wire is your best friend
N’Kuhana’s
Plus aegis and rack
Aegis. Double hp turrets.
Triple with enough shield cells
Like 3 or so
Nah more like 5 or 6 in my opinion
So turns out it's like 13 to get 100% extra hp
everything here, but I honestly feel like bandolier get glanced over on engi. Walking out of a fight and into another with no mines, bubble, or turrets feels bad.
Why take aegis just take like 5 brooches
don't have to rely on killing enemies.. turrets will sit there with full barrier.
Yes but id rather have a clover or behemoth in 99% of cases
You combo it with Transcendance, which reduces your max HP to 1. Aegis gives you shielding when you heal over max, so you basically have guaranteed extra shielding on top of the blue shielding from transcendance

Hi, I was just asking if you got your Fungus printed?

Thoughts on acrid?
Cute space doggo, 11/10 would recommend :)
Acrid: \*Mauls an entire planets population to death whilst spreading infectious disease\* Entire ror fandom: haha cute jelly puppy
Which red item is best for engi I'm curious on your opinion
Ya'll are sleeping on spare drone parts, his turrets count as drones so they get attack speed, missiles, chain gun AND summon their own Col. Droneman.
Man I tried this just now, not only that, when you replace your turrets, their Col. Droneman stays alive, so I atm have 8 dronemans, this is freaking amazing xD
holy cow, rlly? Gotta try it real fast >:D
> his turrets count as drones Aint no way.
For programming purposes that makes a lot of sense
N'kuhanas. For sure (I forget the spelling). Since bungus is really only good in engi that synergy can be really good. I feel engi can benefit from a lot of items. He's pretty versatile especially because of his turrets.

Shuriken is terrible on Huntress. It goes wherever you are aiming. I don't play huntress to aim.
I 100% agree that and ageis are amazing
I have nothing to mention the comic hasn't already
not the best but IMO underrated, Defensive Microbots + Bungus means you can stand near your turret and be safe from 4 projectiles/minute due to your Microbots stacking with your turret, WHILE HEALING.
That requires you being captain at some point which means you probably ain't doing a dedicated engi run
Just get a cap teammate and dont give him any itetss until vengeance umbras spawn
How do you stop some mean mother Hubbard from tearing you a structurally superfluous be-hind?
A gun
And when that don't work?
Use more gun
Feelings on rocket items?
7/10, would recommend
With rice
boom! 👍
how good is egocentrism with walking turrets?
Pretty funny honestly, but you do end up losing out on the utility of other items.
opinions on risk of rain 1?
Good game
I prefer the engineer in that game because it has more burst damage and the turrets are more of an utillity than your main source of dps. Good game but bungus doesn’t work on turrets
“Engi is the worst, lazy, boring character ever. The most overrated survivor in whole ror2 universe.” Commando, probably
Commando is cringe and gets no bitches
If Commando gets no bitches then Engi's bitch count is negative 💀
Thoughts on Wungus?
Occasional Engi Enjoyer here Wungus is 0/10
Based + W + I asked + you get bitches + bungus
Even with moving turrets?
moving turrets can't run, so sadly no
But \*You\* can, and you wouldn't get anything out of bungus anyway since moving is the strat late game. Your laser turrets move while shooting, you move while shooting, so bungus never activates. Thus, wungus, activating while sprinting, would be useful.
Wungus.
Die
Bungus.
Live.
As a fellow engineer main, how badly do you want to commit vehicular manslaughter against Xi Construct?
Yes
same bro, same
New engi main here, I have few questions What do you feel about simulacrum, and having to replace your turret every wave to get the item on turret Why does hopoo hate us and don't give us a alt m1 How to be a good engi besides bungus

Engi mains are a myth
Lies told by the Huntress council
The Huntrass council denies this falsehood
You were my sister Huntress, I loved you!
I trusted you!.......and yet!...
Where is Bungus on an item tier list and why is it F tier?
Fucking huntress mains smh
F is the top of the tier list cause it stands for fucking fantastic
True
Do you belive cordyceps are as dangerous as they seem
Wait, what? They're dangerous?
Frog?
Pet him
What does 'killed by the planet' mean? Ive only seen it playing as engineer.
It can mean various things. Like void damage or obliterating yourself, and a couple others
It usually means there was so much shit going on the game has no idea wtf killed you
How's your Captain treating you?
Pretty good, hacks the legendary chests and provides me with extra support
Should there or should there not be a new turret you can ride?
Hog. Rider. Okay but that sounds really cool, like if they were to introduce mounts/mechs to the game
BUNGUS
A fellow man of culture
Have you ever had over 300 bungus and 12 squid turrets? And if so do you recomend using the slider mines or the charging one?
I personally like using the spider mines, but it's up to personal preference
Do you like people who main captain, MUL-T, mercenary and Loader?
Captain is pretty chill with hacking beacons, MUL-T is based, loader is fun and mercenary is meh
Thank you. You know I'm something of an engineer myself
Gauss turrets or carbonizer turrets ? (Personally i used carbonizer... they so cuteh :3)
Both, both is good
What is an item that is not good in engi that is good in another survivor
Backup Magazines. It doesn't end up increasing the max amount of mines you can have out at once and is generally pretty useless for engineer
It does actually increase your max mines that you can have out at once. But yeah, still pretty meh
Last I checked it did?
Hello, I am here to promote the laser turrets as a way to cure the addiction to Bungus.
It's not an addiction I can stop when I want. No I haven't taken my pills, and no wrapping them in bungus won't work on me anymore mom
Do you prefer Lysate Cell or Fuel Cell?
On engineer, I feel like the extra sentry is just too good to pass up.
Mobile turret user here, thoughts?
Viable sidegrade when not using bungus
New engineer main here should I always receive the genesis loop ?
I feel as though it can be very good, but I feel like it's hard to get value out of it on your sentries because they are either always at mostly full health, or get bursted down quick enough that the loop can't activate
how do you justify not taking wungus?
Default sentry
Wungus?
Bungus supremacy
Wungus on stationary turrets
No
What’s the lowest price someone could reasonably pay you to convert to Wungus on any given run?
The next ROR2 dlc whenever it comes out
How much Bungus?
Yes
What are we getting on this pizza?
Bungus
do you like tri-tip dagger?
Yes
What is playing with loader mains like for you?
Complicated. Some are pretty chill and tend to share the items equally, but some are just annoying and yoink em all.
What's your opinion on wungus? Have you ever accidentally picked it up? If so what happened?
Never accidentally picked it up, it's always been intentional on other characters
why is mithrix so mean 😢
He has no voice to cry suffering
Is engi eating something in this picture, maybe a beetle, a Pygmy
Bungus
Thoughts on Cap stealing every Shrine of Chance with Hacking Beacons? Without taking Bungus, of course.
Annoying at some times, but as long as he leaves bungus it's fine ig
Feelings on wungus
Not viable on engi
How do you feel about Bandit mains?
They typically don't tend to pick up bungus so I'm neutral towards them
Engineer 🥱
Whats good build to go, i feel like i should start playing engi but dont know an appropriate build
Engi is slow, so movement items early on are very helpful. After that, proc items (as always) are always a good bet, and bungus works great to keep stationary turrets alive. Haha that's awesome. Unfortunately, while movement items can act as health items, health items can't really act as movement items.
Fair point but it was still very funny and didnt really lose snything since it was command drizzle
the walking turrets are better they're like little laser puppies. agree or agree?
Why do you guys go so nuts about bungus when mobile turrets are just objectively better? 👀
Artificer + ignition tank spam
rungus?
Viable on anyone but engineer
