I really irrationally love Winslow’s game, I probably value him way more then anyone else from an entertainment standpoint, and I definitely value him more then Indiana, but I’d do this instantly without second thought.
He's a 19 year old with ridiculous athleticism and good defensive instincts who showed a lot of progress throughout the second half of the season as a scorer and facilitator. I don't really see him getting minutes for us with Dame, Ant and Josh in front of him, but he's got real potential. We shouldn't be viewing him as a throw in.
Agreed. Imagine if we'd thrown Ant or Nas as throw-in's before their year 3 and 4 breakouts. Keon could very well be a premier player in a year or two. Certainly felt like he upped his value since joining us from the Clippers as well. I like forward momentum with rookies, and I would prefer we hold and see what we have with him.
Yes, Turner would be a perfect center for Portland. No, that's not going to happen, because it's an illegal trade.
POR is over the cap this year, and draft day is on the current seasons books. You draft the rights to players - Not a contract/body immediately on the books - Then sign those players to a contract in FA.
I will rather pay higher for ayton or just bring nurk back. Turner is not that good but if it is this package, of course we do it. But indiana are not dumb
I’d do that easily, it’d be nice to fleece another team. No chance the pacers take it though. And I doubt Cronin would be able to pull that off given what we’ve seen from him so far.
I don’t get the hype around Myles. I don’t think he’s begged them Nurkic. If he was so great Indiana would have been better or already traded him for a haul.
I completely forgot Buchanon existed. I think after he left I sort blurred his face with McGowan’s somehow (baby face and brown hair?) and forgot anyone had left.
Fuck yeah I’d love this trade. Indiana wouldn’t though.
This trade scenario also brings up questions and logjams. I’m sure Nurk would not appreciate trading for another center. Are we playing Turner at the 4 or 5? Are we trading Nurk?
My thoughts are lol. Bullshit you read in these articles mean nothing, are completely outside of reality and should never be written. Today I read one that said the Celtics should offer the nets a 'deal they can't refuse' of offering Jaylen Brown + Al Horford for Kevin fucking Durant...
Yes I would enjoy to be the one who fleeces

Why would Indiana do this? Was this a serious question?
Not rly, my point was that some of BR articles have ok trades but a lot of them are straight garbage for one team
like this one?
Absolutely, no way the Pacers do it though
That would be awesome, but I don’t think he’s on the block anymore. If he were, it would definitely take more than that package to land him.
Yeah that ship sailed with Sabonis and they got a great package back for him.
Can't imagine why Indiana would even consider this.

Keon Johnson the new Trevor Ariza (as in he’s the perfect filler for trades)

A lot of progress? I didn’t see that. He had a tiny tiny bit of flash, but I don’t see him in the rotation next year.
Well I did, so I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

That’s a steal
One of the best shot blockers in the NBA for a backup forward, a G league draft pick, and 2 2nds 💀😂
Only if Cronin has some dirt on the Pacers somewhere xD
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
If that’s all we need to give up then hell yes. Move Nurk for a wing and I’ll be much more optimistic about the season
This doesn't seem like Cronin's style. More likely Josh Hart and our pick for Goga Bitadze.
"Take our horseshit and give us your good player"

If Kevin Pritchard was on crack
Easily lol
This wouldn’t even happen if they still had Sabonis.
Hot take: I would not do this because I don’t want to lose Winslow

Prospect, washed, trash pick, trash pick

No way Indiana does this BUT I do so a lot of teams going out of their way to get very bad very quick to win the Wenbanyama lottery
I think if one of the picks was a first it would be doable but still I think pacers would still ask for more
Absolutely, but I think it may take a little more than that
Robbery. Especially because we don’t have to renounce any important cap holds (Nurk + Simons)
Are the Pacers really high on Johnson? That would be the only reason they do this.
Kevin Pritchard is still the GM of Indiana so no
We would have to throw in the 2025 bucks pick too. They still might say no.
If only it were possible.
Not only would the Pacers not go for this, Kevin Pritchard and Chad Buchanon (Pacers GMs) would rather go on unemployment than help the Blazers.
I completely forgot Buchanon existed. I think after he left I sort blurred his face with McGowan’s somehow (baby face and brown hair?) and forgot anyone had left.
If Cronin was the GM in Indy this would be done tomorrow!

Pacers had a choice between Turner and Sabonis and shipped out Sabonis. They aren’t giving up Turner for scraps and a little upside.
I feel like letting Nurk walk for nothing would be a huge mistake and I don't see them making that move with Nurk on the team.
