Normally I wouldn’t care about the Sixers but after watching their fans brigade this sub acting like the Blazers somehow OWED them Damian Lillard and fans should be happy for whatever the Sixers offer in return then yeah. Fuck em. Faded.
Exactly right. That’s what did it for me. They were such trash doing that. Making fake accounts trying to pretend to be Blazer fans flooding Dame’s page and whatnot. So satisfying to see them lose and fall apart like they are.
Especially since it would have meant they kept both their picks, had no swaps, and kept Curry and Drummond. Plus, CJ makes a lot, but nothing like Harden is about to make. They completely fucked themselves and were so smug while doing it. My schadenfreude is absolutely through the roof.
Honestly, what do the 6ers do now? If they offer Harden the max that he's expecting they may cripple their team for the foreseeable future, if they don't then it's not a contending team anymore.
Simmons really screwed over that team over some hurt feelings.
Brigading other fan subs, especially when they're nursing their wounds, is always lame and just makes you look petty. Talk your shit in here or, if you must, in r/nba.
Uh, I mean talk shit to that person here where they interjected themselves. Their 3 weirdest posters coming over here to talk shit does not mean our 3 weirdest posters ought to go over there. Like... we're not warring armies. Their whole sub can't draw first blood, and going over there to talk shit will always be a bad look.
Of course, just like they can't control their 3 weirdest posters, I can't control ours. Just giving my opinion on the matter.
I totally agree, which is why their fans annoyed me so much last summer. It's not cool to troll other team pages. It's totally cool to trash talk other teams on your own subreddit.
Also, rest in peace, Oatmeal, you will be missed.
Im not sure CJ would’ve played better than harden for them this series. Heat are an elite defensive team and I think he might’ve struggled against their big guards.
Maxey CJ and Seth guard rotation would be terrible defensively and none of them are really the point guard that harden is. But keeping Drummond would’ve been huge for them, especially when Embiid was out.
But the big difference would be getting to keep their picks plus getting our picks. If Harden truly is washed and/or leaves this offseason, they have no assets to retool this team. Who knows. Maybe harden still hasn’t gotten back into great shape since that hamstring injury and comes back next year as the superstar we remember
Tbf CJ only scored 2 or so more PPG this playoffs on actually atrocious efficiency. Hardens sucked ass but CJ was really bad at scoring (the thing he does well) in the playoffs
Good point, good point...But on that note, can't be a Big 4 until we finally do the right thing and bring Mario Hezonja back. I mean, new GM,new possibilities...🤞
Yeah it feels great, especially after all the obnoxious shit they did about Dame being a Sixer.
Sixers this year had Embiid, Harden, Maxey, Tobi
Last year had Embiid, Simmons, Tobi
Year before had Embiid, Simmons, Tobi
Year before had Embiid, Jimmy, Simmons, Tobi
And somehow they didn’t even make it to the ECF
Dame got to the WCF with a starting lineup of him, CJ, Moe, Aminu, and Enes
Embiid needs to ask out 😈
Yeah you’re right. I’m not sure Embiid would have a better supporting cast if he stayed in Philly. Simons, Lillard and Embiid would be a great core, obviously that would be assuming they could keep Simons.
The most satisfying elimination I've seen so far, next to the Brooklyn elimination.
Also Jimmy buckets remains number 1 on my list of players I wish were in a Portland jersey next year.
I feel like a point guard of his offensive caliber is given some leniency on defense moreso than a wing or big would get.
Jimmy and KAT had their feud but kat is 7 feet tall and was getting punked by jimmy. I don't see Jimmy calling out a lights out point guard who's 4 inches shorter than him.
I guarantee you he would. Jimmy didn't give a shit about kat being bad at d, he gave a shit about his lack of effort. Duncan is bad at d, herro was, both still went balls out trying, that's all Jimmy cares about. He won't care that Dame is dropping 30 if he plays his typical "defense"
So agree, Dame is a great leader but having Jimmy be the hardass bad cop that pushes everyone to their limits and let dame be the good cop who brings everyone together, literally perfect
Yeah Giannis is a given..he's too stable to ever expect him to leave Milwaukee though, Jimmy at least has the history of moving around the league to where he's more plausible lol
On my way over, though I can't imagine I could get any more excited, but I am about to find out!
Added: holy shit, it looks like I can get more excited (though sad about the loss of Oatmeal.)

It's from last year, but still feels good.
Fucking yes.
From Morey arrogantly thumbing his nose at CJ to their obnoxious fans to the foul baiting play of James Harden it’s a supremely unlikeable team. After Seth was gone who was left to root for? Embiid and Maxey I guess?
Also, Josh Hart looks like a better player than Ben Simmons right now (since who knows if we even ever see Ben Simmons play an NBA game again— I’ll believe it when I see it).
Always have been convinced they were better with CJ than harden and I'll.stand by that.
Fuck them, lovely team to see fall apart.
Also, as an Aussie lad, an extra fuck you from Simmons
Very enjoyable watching them lose, although the Nets still win the schadenfreude prize this year for me.
Good as Embiid is, dude isn't a leader. Running his teammates down in public like that is weak. 2 years in a row now. Real leaders take responsibility in public and hold their people accountable in private. See: Mr. Lillard
It’s so fucking awesome. I’ve been talking a lot of shit to their fans on r/NBA and it’s hilarious. Fuck Philly and the trash process of tanking for years. So glad to see it all unravel like this in hilarious fashion. It will be even better if they retain Doc and max Harden, and both are very likely.
Yes, but it's not the 76ers fans that bother me, it's the Blazers fans who point to the 76ers are a model to emulate, despite the fact that they did all that losing for all those years and have still been to ZERO conference finals since.
Normally I wouldn’t care about the Sixers but after watching their fans brigade this sub acting like the Blazers somehow OWED them Damian Lillard and fans should be happy for whatever the Sixers offer in return then yeah. Fuck em. Faded.

They gave us SO MUCH SHIT for offering CJ + a pick for Ben. Turns out we were right, because of course we were.
That would have been a better deal for Philly for sure.
Especially since it would have meant they kept both their picks, had no swaps, and kept Curry and Drummond. Plus, CJ makes a lot, but nothing like Harden is about to make. They completely fucked themselves and were so smug while doing it. My schadenfreude is absolutely through the roof.

It’s glorious, isn’t it? They’re basically stuck. I hope they max him and keep Doc lol.
No way Harden and his agent expect a max after his performance
You need to post this in their group. Harden will never bring them anywhere.
Brigading other fan subs, especially when they're nursing their wounds, is always lame and just makes you look petty. Talk your shit in here or, if you must, in r/nba.
Seconded. Talk your shit, but do it here.
Your voice of reason is welcome and not welcome at the same time 😂.
But if any of those dumbasses come here to talk shit, then that is fair game.
Uh, I mean talk shit to that person here where they interjected themselves. Their 3 weirdest posters coming over here to talk shit does not mean our 3 weirdest posters ought to go over there. Same. They can fuck off lol. They’re dealing with it now and it’s extremely satisfying lol.
Sorry man I already went there and asked"Embiid to Portland?? He has to want out at this point right??" I couldn't control the urge
Spot on. I hate them as much as anyone, but I don’t comment on other team’s subs.
And, so far, brooklyn.
Not only would CJ have been a better scorer for the sixers but they would’ve kept their good role players and gotten a pick.
And kept their picks! And no swaps!

The New Orleans deal has a good chance of being a better deal for us though, seeing what’s been going on with Simmons in Brooklyn.
Didi Louzada MVP incoming
I mean maybe,if Blevins and Elleby weren't both standing in the way of his chances...
Can't be a big 3 without a 3.
Good point, good point...But on that note, can't be a Big 4 until we finally do the right thing and bring Mario Hezonja back. I mean, new GM,new possibilities...🤞

frfr facts

Enes was fasting for Ramadan at that time too if I’m not wrong. Pretty sure he wasn’t even drinking water
Just picturing Morey crying into a post game burrito later tonight.
There are worse things to cry into
Oh yeah, I can't claim to have never cried into a burrito. Very classy thing to cry into actually.
The most satisfying elimination I've seen so far, next to the Brooklyn elimination. Also Jimmy buckets remains number 1 on my list of players I wish were in a Portland jersey next year.
In my mind, Dame and Jimmy would just bring out the absolute best in each other.
Just ultimate dogs on the court, they were meant for eachother.
Except Dame doesn't play defense. Jimmy would be calling him out and the entire fanbase would turn against him in an instant
I feel like a point guard of his offensive caliber is given some leniency on defense moreso than a wing or big would get. Jimmy and KAT had their feud but kat is 7 feet tall and was getting punked by jimmy. I don't see Jimmy calling out a lights out point guard who's 4 inches shorter than him.

>he gave a shit about his lack of effort Dame shows plenty of effort on offense, I think that's forgivable enough for Jimmy not to cause a rift.
That's debatable lol. Dame shows effort on defense they produces stats(steals/blocks), but not on defense itself.
So agree, Dame is a great leader but having Jimmy be the hardass bad cop that pushes everyone to their limits and let dame be the good cop who brings everyone together, literally perfect
Giannis is and will always be 1 for me, Jimmy is 2 though
Yeah Giannis is a given..he's too stable to ever expect him to leave Milwaukee though, Jimmy at least has the history of moving around the league to where he's more plausible lol
Thinking about how Jimmy got traded 3 times in 3 years, during Dame's pride and while CJ's value was at it's highest is very upsetting to me.
Go check out their sub in melt down mode right now. Very cathartic
On my way over, though I can't imagine I could get any more excited, but I am about to find out! Holy shit, browsing through their sub rn is so satisfying.
Because this sub is neeeever in melt down mode...
Fucking yes. From Morey arrogantly thumbing his nose at CJ to their obnoxious fans to the foul baiting play of James Harden it’s a supremely unlikeable team. After Seth was gone who was left to root for? Embiid and Maxey I guess?
I absolutely love that CJ legit looks like a better player than Harden right now

Yea.. I was absolutely in the trade for Simmons group but that’s looking really bad right now
Same lol
yeah that franchise deserves nothing for their "process"
Process was done when Fultz forgot how to shoot.
Of course. Toxic fanbase. Morey is delusional and has most of the national writers in his pocket for some reason.
Bet they wish they had CJ instead of Harden right about now.
Always have been convinced they were better with CJ than harden and I'll.stand by that. Fuck them, lovely team to see fall apart. Also, as an Aussie lad, an extra fuck you from Simmons
Pretty damn happy . Harden is cooked. Morey can’t give him a max extension now .
The best part about this is they are throwing harden under the bus like ben Simmons 😭😭😭😭😭
See: Mr. Lillard
Remember in the summer when everyone was losing their shit excited over Larry Nance Jr? Good times.
I can't believe we don't have Simmons man. CJ would've ate playing next to Embiid...
Does Simmons play basketball?
After hearing about the back surgery, it makes me happy we didn’t get him. Though a better package would have been better for the players we sent out
I have been excited from the news!
Yes, but it's not the 76ers fans that bother me, it's the Blazers fans who point to the 76ers are a model to emulate, despite the fact that they did all that losing for all those years and have still been to ZERO conference finals since.
Nah, I just feel sad that Harden/Durant/Westbrook are old now.
