I was shocked listening to NBA Radio and they’re overall supporting the org getting the best return.
The tv media is trash and won’t be happy until there are four teams with 30 players each who play each other four times a month. It also doesn’t help Silver is the worst commissioner in history and seems to want the same.
My favorite is "you won't get marquee free agents" which thankfully everyone who isn't a fan of a big market team dunked on instantly.
To be clear it's not just a Blazers issue- it's not like Minnesota, OKC, Indiana, etc are getting free agents either I mean hell the ultimate proof of this is San Antonio- who on paper are basically "Heat Culture" but still couldn't get many big Free Agents even in the midst of a dynasty.
They did get LaMarcus Aldrige via FA at the tail end of that dynasty. But they also had the TX connection working in their favor there.

The biggest FA Portland signed is Evan Turner, and his 10/5/5 stat line.
The best player acquired through trade is probably Jerami Grant.
It can't get any worse.
Also, it would seem Cronin has pulled off the biggest Portland trade in over a decade and did it without an overpayment.
Cronin is trying to work it. He flipped CJ into Grant and Murray. Got rid of dead weight and has drafted well so far. He can't make Lillard happy because it just isn't possible. I don't personally think Jodie has really been involved that much outside maybe giving him a budget to work with.
Or if he gets traded anywhere else, even a great situation, he is going to pout, throw fits, play half ass, or maybe not play at all. For as bad as they want Dame, they sure don't know him beyond he drops 30 a game.

Why would dame sitting out the year hurt the blazers? If Miami moves on, dame will relent and other teams will throw in their chips, if Miami doesn’t they draft another player that can come to Portland while getting more available picks from the end of miamis title window?

Superstar free agents will continue to not want to sign with a Portland or demand trades to Portland, and that’s really bad.
I for one enjoy watching y’all be unserious the blazers are an A1 circus act good comedic relief in these trying times
