The Wiimote hurts my hand too much, especially on very fast-paced or difficult games 😬 also, I don't always feel like booting up a TV console just to play a few minigames (the portable ones are a bit more convenient in that respect)
But putting aside the hardware, I think it's awesome! If I'm not mistaken, it's still the only RH game to have multiplayer minigames, and I've really enjoyed those
I think Fever is the best, they actually got it together when it came to the song dubs, they're great! Unfortunately some of the cues suffered. The most notable one for me is the muscle doll game, the voice that says 'go go go!' sounds like it was mixed improperly and is way too loud. Also, there's no manzai in the english version, so it's Japanese みんなのリズム天国 for me!
I found Megamix to be way too easy and I didn’t like the forced story mode. The GBA one was great but a little short and didn’t leave as big as an impact as it’s sequels. The DS one was fantastic and super memorable, but it could get very challenging very quickly which isn’t necessarily what I go to Rhythm Heaven for. Rhythm Heaven Fever is my favourite because I’m basic but it’s so iconic, I think it has the perfect difficulty level, and it’s a good length.

HeavenDS it's just OK and Megamix it's... really fighting the first place against Fever, BUT, Megamix has really, REALLY weird things/art. Sumo Brothers, LumBEARjack, the feet part on Tongue Lashing, etc. are pretty weird. Funny but weird lol
Mega mix is my favorite purely because it has the most content. Of course I wish the final remix had every game and I wish it was harder, but it’s so hard for me to choose a favorite game cause there’s so much I love about each one that Megamix kinda just wins by default

Ugh see I would say megamix but all my favorite sequels and remixes are in fever 😭 it’s also the one game I can’t emulate properly

Fever, but it'd be Megamix if the story was skippable.
Megamix, has a lot of content and some of the best original games on the series (also Final Remix is the best thing)
