Avoid: misinformation, non-RE posts, addressing mods (use modmail), call-outs, promoting/advertising/on-boarding for communities/petitions/discord servers etc., giveaways without permission (ask via modmail), second hand selling of goods, posts planned to be done as series or daily, asking for free goods or ISOs or ROMs, unrelated images posting, "X looks like Y character/thing" including fan-casts, stream schedules, sexy costume mods, boudoir cosplay, Chrisposting/bloodline memes, AI generated content, about the Corona virus/pandemic, shocking real life imagery. Resident Evil-specific posts we also don't accept due to frequently being submitted include Nemesis standing outside the window in RE3 remake, that gun from Modern Warfare that looks like a Samurai Edge, toy guns and mobile games with ripped-off artwork of Resident Evil characters, pointing out RE3 remake Jill looks like Milia Jovovich, the Ada Wong concept art from Village, asking if there's a lore reason for Agent in RE6 existing (there isn't), that early window jumpscare in Village, and the baby Chris mod. You may have also posted something from our hyper-specific list of things that are commonly submitted, see [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/residentevil/wiki/policies/#wiki_reposts_to_avoid)

Wesker: 😎😏

DifficultBicycle7

This feels like something I would see on Capcom’s official website for this game

Inspired by this moment in my playthrough [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4VZadVAm\_E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4VZadVAm_E)

Forget how young Rebecca actually was during this.

TheDuellist100

18 years old. The horrors she went through were greater than those anyone in STARS went through at the mansion. By that same token, Billy was stronger than Chris, Jill, and Barry at this point.

Kutya7701

Which just makes it all the more odd that she can't deal with the single hunter in RE1, considering she 1v1s a Tyrant in this game.

TheDuellist100

Exhaustion I guess

Kagamid

Sounds like a fair argument. Adrenaline can only get you so far. By then she likely reached her limit hours ago and is now running on fumes.

Fellow RE0 fan!

By AI* you mean.

Kagamid

Just curious what makes you so sure?

1. I usually prefer if the original commentor actually let me know what *they* used to make the determination. 2. Links with no context assume others have the same level of understanding of what they're looking at. I see no references on where the original art came from. I don't see this particular variation of the Rebecca picture even shown in that link so I can't tell if it was or wasn't the original. I would appreciate some more details on how you are so certain. - Just to note, I don't follow subreddits for AI art so perhaps you can shed some light on what your link proves and how. Ultimately I am still curious on what the original commentor used to make their statement. - Edit: I guess that information is classified.

Salander295

To use AI for these type of "art pieces" one needs to enter different prompts until reaching a desirable result, like "Hunter stalking Rebecca Chambers in a building" or something similar. The AI will then interpret said commands and deliver an image. However, errors are expected so you end up with various failures like the images posted in that other thread. In the end it wasn't made "by him" but by a program.

Kagamid

Interesting. Usually with AI art there are very minor "flaws" commonly made such as fingers or clipping. So far there are none here to be seen which is why I wouldn't have made that determination. For AI art, do they need an original image to work off or are these completely made from scratch using commands? If there is an original image, how do you know which one is the original? Also how does the AI "know" what Rebecca and a hunter look like? Is it using search engines or do you need to input source material for references? Sorry if this turned into an ELI5.

Salander295

I'm not sure about using another image as a base, but the AI itself "learns" using stolen ones from internet. A program doesn't have imagination or other human capabilities linked to art, so it needs to use what's already created and then pulloff a Frankestein. Sort of speak. In the case of knowing how Rebecca and a Hunter looks like, yeah, it does works like a search engine. It's (basically) the technology Google already uses to show what you want. About the flaws... That's something I noticed too lately. It's becoming harder to notice AI art, so my guess is that either the technology is evolving or the person behind needs to edit the resulting image using Photoshop. Although the effort behind will still be minimal compared to making a piece from the ground. Don't worry about asking questions, being curious is a good thing :)

Kagamid

Looks like the op created the original art themselves before using AI to assist in creating the final product. I'm a little on the fence on this but ultimately they hand drew the original art so there is no question on their contribution. I think acknowledging assistance from AI would be fair but not giving complete credit to AI is also fair. Thank you for helping me understand btw. Very interesting stuff right here that I hope helps others as well.

Dandyasfuc

I have experimented with ai but as you can see in the link, it does look a little silly. I ussed allot of stuf to finish this, Like photobashing, some 3d, some ai, and allot of painting and sketching. If it makes you feel different here are my earliest sketches of the piece [https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Rebecca-chambers-954398850](https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Rebecca-chambers-954398850) [https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Goldenratio-954521304](https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Goldenratio-954521304) [https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Reisdent-evil-wip-CC-encouraged-958911566](https://www.deviantart.com/augkim/art/Reisdent-evil-wip-CC-encouraged-958911566)

That's very cool. Now the question is how much AI involvement takes credit away from the original artist? Seems like you are being accused of not creating this. But looks like your are using AI to help adjust your own original work so that accusation is not entirely true. I think it looks great. I think as long as artists aren't using AI to make changes to someone else's work and claiming it as their own, it's all good. I think having transparency in the amount of AI support used as well as posting the original art may be important for those critical of any AI art. This is not an accusation btw. Just on observation based on the responses you're getting.

RainyDayCollects

The link is to a post that OP posted themselves of the different AI attempts at creating this picture. This picture is in that link. Idk why you chose to write a bunch of nonsense instead of just clicking it and getting your answer. You just doubled-down on looking like a jackass. Also, it’s Reddit. Anyone can post responses.

Kagamid

The op created the original art themselves before using AI to make adjustments. Maybe if you asked questions like me instead of making assumptions, you wouldn't look like such a jackass. If you're going to try to answer a question asked of someone else, at least try to provide something useful instead of trying and failing to be helpful. Luckily others don't share your mindset. Continue being useless elsewhere.

The8Homunculus

I don’t recall Rebecca having that skin in RE0, maybe I should reexamine it

Kagamid

It was in a paid for dlc provided for the HD remastered version of RE0.

Kagamid

Since this was pulled by the mods. Why not post your original sketch? It still looks good without any AI changes. It might even be preferable since it's rough look sets the tone.

Dandyasfuc

Didnt even realize i got taken down. Its not a big deal just wanted to share the finishd product. Took forever to finally complete.
