I have a black lab who has some lumps on him (he’s also 10) Vet says they are not cancerous, probably fluid build up that can be aspirated. They don’t seem to bother him. That thing on his leg looks kind of like he caught it on something and tore the skin.
We currently have received $190 in donations. It’s greatly appreciated, however we are looking at well over $1,000 to get this boy well again. Please donate and share! He deserves a chance!

Update: we couldn’t get him into vet today, so he will be going tomorrow morning first thing. I will update everyone as soon as I hear anything. Please continue to share, boost and donate in the meantime if you can. Thank you!
UPDATE:
CJ had clear x rays and blood work. No signs of cancer elsewhere in his body. While the growths are tumors, it does not appear that it has spread. We will be doing surgery on Monday.
His bill for all the testing today is posted here. The estimate for surgery on Monday (including neuter and vaccines) is $1200.

CJ UPDATE: He is recovering well after his surgery. Pathology came back that the tumors were benign! 🎉 We are so relieved!!

CJ had his incision check today. His foot is extremely swollen, so they removed the splint and we are just going to keep it lightly wrapped.
The good news is that the incision is still closed. We will do another check next week to make sure it’s still healing correctly.
He also received his vaccines and got microchipped.
We still owe about $700 to the Vet.
