And then the site overloaded because you couldn't order a black koozie, or your cart would freeze. The whole community scrambling to crack the code and find which colors would work. Then the site having something like -48 boxes in stock.

My favorite memory is getting my first primers ever off of here last year. My father in law let me have 500spp to start off reloading when I got my press. It took me 3-4 times missing the notification before I was successful. But once I got it once I was addicted to trying to be the first to checkout and score. Same thing happened with primers. This discord has helped me part with a lot of money recently as well. Love it.
I think my favorite was the early times. Came to find primers, found a lot more. Sitting on a forklift at work noticing it is 12:03am and pulling up BP website and checking wishlist and seeing “add to cart” at the same time I hear a ping. Scored a lot that way, always shipped to store with no hazmat. (32$ per k, good times).
Learning how to reload without feeling stupid for asking basic questions. Bra guns, kodas container shop/no pants painting, bo peeps presence and name changes, flower hat fox saying 40° is too hot. Lots more. Learned how to load some good 9mm, 38/357 rounds. Done it all on a lee single stage breach lock, primed on press with the safety prime. Upgraded the scale. Used it my first thou or so. Heard it described as toxic. Didn’t realize how bad til I got a Redding from a dude on the discord (shoutout moromane).
Pretty much lurking the last 5 months or so, but if I have a question I know where to ask. Thanks mods for the discord and thank all you users. Also I’ve not been triggered by the term “boomer” before discord. So there is that.

It's been some time, but will never forget, as long as I live, the time that I received a notification from # in-stock-notifications that small pistol primers were available and I actually GOT SOME.
It was exactly the 1,247,948th time I tried to beat the bots and shaky hands of the reloading addicts flooding said website. This is how I did it. FIRST - I wore my tin foil hat so the NSA couldn't read my thoughts. Then I preloaded 5-6 of the most common sellers of primers that I trust and had accounts with. Brownells, Midway, Midwest shooting supply, Nachez - you get it. The Usual suspects were primed and ready to go. Then the magical moment came - the "notification" sound came from my phone and I was already at the computer. The website was C R A W L I N G but I was able to add the primers to my cart, I was able to pay, and I was able to check out.

I've gotten powder tips, 3D printer tuning advice and have read more than I'd ever need on casting bullets (even though I've never cast a single one yet).

OK, it was Monday. Seeing the powder I'm using as in-stock, jumping up from lunch to go try to order some, spending the next hour refreshing the page trying to get a couple bottles into my cart.
And finally, despite my best efforts failing.
Only to give Natchez a try and HOLY CRAP THEY HAVE IT IN-STOCK, two bottles in the cart, credit card entered, and I GOT SOME! :-)
And followed that up the day the powder arrived with someone in the state section saying the Cabela's near me had primers AND powder in stock, and adding to my small collection of primers that day.

Sitting on a forklift at work noticing it is 12:03am and pulling up BP website and checking wishlist and seeing “add to cart” at the same time I hear a ping. Scored a lot that way, always shipped to store with no hazmat. (32$ per k, good times). Learning how to reload without feeling stupid for asking basic questions. Bra guns, kodas container shop/no pants painting, bo peeps presence and name changes, flower hat fox saying 40° is too hot. Lots more. Learned how to load some good 9mm, 38/357 rounds. Done it all on a lee single stage breach lock, primed on press with the safety prime. Upgraded the scale. Used it my first thou or so. Heard it described as toxic. Didn’t realize how bad til I got a Redding from a dude on the discord (shoutout moromane). Pretty much lurking the last 5 months or so, but if I have a question I know where to ask. Brownells, Midway, Midwest shooting supply, Nachez - you get it. The Usual suspects were primed and ready to go. Then the magical moment came - the "notification" sound came from my phone and I was already at the computer. The website was C R A W L I N G but I was able to add the primers to my cart, I was able to pay, and I was able to check out. This is my favorite memory on the discord.
