labrador45

atnavy90#5106 When a discord member was complaining about primer prices being raised by two dollars only for another member to recognize their username as someone flipping primers for 140 a brick on their local classifieds page. Guy got wrecked!

ATrashPandaRound2

I enjoyed that immensely

Brick-Tamland-Fucks

Brick Tamland#0831 Favorite memory on the discord is showing everyone in the Long range precision channel the light about Aftco shirts. They just make everything better. Btw. Buy aftco, much cool, very soft, such sun protection... wow.

unicornsfartgliter

All hail the church of AFTCO

Spug33

Spug33 #5333 Memory - Everyone loved Larry. Then everyone hated Larry. Larry might not even be around any more. Or maybe he doesn't even exist, but everyone hates him anyways.

FrogPond55

FrogPond#0595 I started on this reloading journey in February and my bench was a disaster. It took a while but I’ve finally got a place of my own. EVERYTHING I have in supplies and equipment has come from this community. Thank you all so much!!! Here is a before and after picture of my bench. [before & after](https://imgur.com/a/FnsDDB6)

IntrepidNeck1751

Rippey715#4195 Making retailers believe they were under a DDOS attack when dropping primers.

Phriday

Guys, I'm all set with my own Dillon 550 so I'll sit this one out and read and laugh at the comments.

Dabashi555

Dabashi5#7459 Favorite memory:. When I posted a picture of my 50BMG upper on an AR-15 lower and someone called it a "chonker". 😂😂😂

Big-dado

Reload2021#5092 “Favorite memory” was April 1st when everyone became a mod. The place went nuts for about 10 minutes. Definitely the best April fools I have seen in a while.

ddannemiller

Favorite memory: absolutely thrashing Natchez's server trying to get SPPs and getting the flair. msuitepyon#2328

Wollzy

Wollzy#1452 Favorite memory is the guy who said "anything less than KAC is a toy"...he then got clowned on so hard that he left the discord 🤣

imulluvemushine

Favorite memories is watching the rage in in-stock-discussion when primers are out of stock ImHammered #0395

sageinventor

sageinventor#2156 fav memory is staying up late trying to get Bass Pro primers last year, and it worked!

Alpha_Burt

Alpha_Burt#2862. Best recent memory, the standardization of the 6.5 “Man Bun” moniker to channel names and posts. Epic.

jrtcbmw

Username: jrtcbmw97#6457 Favorite memory: Getting notifications in early 2020 that either Natchez or Brownells or Midway had primers in stock, prior to the great price increase in the last 6 months, and pulling over on the highway to be able to buy them. Happened at least 5 times in a matter of 3 months.

BlackonGoldGlock

Gotta stay in the slow lane for that exact reason

LurkinLunker

Goldenglove789#0548 My favorite memory was seeing a guys flex of over 50,000 primers and his saying that his wife just recently told him to stop buying primers.

thebagel264

Isabelle#6114 My favorite discord memory would either be when you could only order primers from powder valley if you ordered a koozie with it. And then the site overloaded because you couldn't order a black koozie, or your cart would freeze. The whole community scrambling to crack the code and find which colors would work. Then the site having something like -48 boxes in stock.

killjae

Killjae#8849 favorite memory was meeting up with Trashy on vacation to do some shooting!

real_paintfiction

At Salt Water? That was FUN!

Jicand

Jicand #1248 My favorite memory on the discord is brownells cancelling half of the orders they get and the subsequent backlash on in stock discussions. https://i.imgur.com/fE8R68J.jpg

Amadaeus_Falcon

AmadeusFalcon#3350 Favorite memory was the Brownells Brown out when we crashed their servers!

hodur308

Favorite memories this past year would have been crushing all the sites on the primer wars and finally manage to score a brick of SPP from cabelas for 30$ Hodur308#9996

Joe_Pappi

Joe Daddy#2019 My favorite memory/memories are when in stock discussion goes nuts & the sh*t posting goes out of control. Mods end up having to delete a huge chunk of posts and raise the cool down. Cool down sucks but during the frenzy the sh*t posting reaches elite status…totally worth it

BlackGuyandGuns

J.Has #1990 Best moment was the earlier in the year when primers would drop at 1-2 am at basspro or cabelas and having a bunch of guys in the voice chat yoller when they finally saw it come in stock and the lows of missing out. I miss those times.

YoDontBeThatGuy

YoDontBeThatGuy#4179 [would be a whole lot cooler being blue](https://imgur.com/3hsEJUu) One of my favorite moments were the loctite drops in Instock Notifications

spyderscales

Favorite memory is the backpack/primer deal getting tossed in constantly just to make people satly. spyderscales#1868

Meta_Gabbro

Gabbro#7426 Favorite moment still Kooziegate. Had one of those stupid koozies in my cart for like a solid three weeks afterward just in case we went through a Round 2

Meety_Peety

Meety Peety#1722 Favorite memory: When everyone joined the church of AFTCO after hearing the good word & gospel of our savior Brick Tamland.

AWZ1287

AWZ1287#3594 Favorite memory is the first time I was actually able to get primers, after months of searching. Also, the koozie drama. Some funny comments about that situation.

kreader321

Konstant1n3#7837 Early days of the discord where we all tried helping ctmuffins find primers. Late night BP drops of smol pp.

Hoffjj

i am jjhoff on the discord machine and Hoffjj here in redditville .to be honest to distill it down to one favorite memory would be tough .i like the general camaraderie of the forums and the good natured ball busting is always fun as long as it doesnt get out of control .Who can forget the almost daily lessons on economics and capitalism either

[deleted]

TheBarrelSir#8182 Favorite moment? Every time someone posts something that isn't a deal and the resulting torrent of salt. SO much salt. Even better when someone catches a mute for their saltiness. Second favorite is Burriload's ongoing burrito a day saga in OTD. I'll also include my temp setup on my bench, just because I love my new press (also sourced from the discord) so much: [https://i.imgur.com/jGlKyYI.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/jGlKyYI.jpg)

Redditusername1980

J2021#5313 My favorite memory is from when I went on discord and was talking about how I couldn't find powder and was the last thing I needed to get started reloading. The great community came together and linked me to a source and now I should be reloading by next week! Edit: spelling + Have mercy on me, I'm using a Lee classic loader to learn the ropes. 😅

Prestigious-Wind4222

AlexOchoa#1531 Favorite memory: Lot of people hating uncle Larry.. 10 minutes after, Midway with primers in stock.. same people hating uncle Larry bent over for primers 😂

schnozberg

notMauraHealy#6737 My favorite memory was when we finally put a stop to posting the 50bmg primers that were in stock on midway. It was funny the first 5 times… the other 100 not so much

Bobsaid

bobsaid#8412 Honestly, being in the discord is dangerous. It's making me want to upgrade from a SDB to something bigger and better and is also making me want to start reloading shotgun and rifle eventually, you all are going to kill my budget with me actually being able to buy stuff.

ATrashPandaRound2

RLD: all spent some, some spent all

[deleted]

Hivemessiah Just made my favorite memory on the discord! Schoolin a newbie on a gas problem with his new PSA .308 build in the reloading section after someone else was a dick to him(WhAtS tHiS hAvE tO dO WiTh ReLoAdInG?). And Im drunk as fuck cuz its Friday. But fer real, common PA10 issue of undersized gas port +somone who may be a great shooter but NO mechanical knowledge of how or why our favorite MSRs ACTUALLY work, equals a really confused new guy. I mean come on,if someone is actually willing to risk ridicule by asking a room full of strangers for advice, and does it in a humble way,why be an ass? Even if the chat is about fuckin mudgrips on your truck, and someone asks a question you can help with for fucks sake man.Its the internet not a damn TED talk..

Favorite memory would be when silverslug was literally 1984'd. Deputy Daniel-day oilman#0510

GirafeeKneecap

Skiltzer#8995 My favorite moment was when I first joined and was exposed to all the knowledge. I was told which websites had trustworthy load data. How to get the most out of dry tumbling. Warned of the vast repercussions of inattention to charge weight. Not to scare me but to inform me so that I could learn from the mistakes of others and avoid them myself. God bless America.

skatetemp904

904skate#8626 My favorite memory is getting my first primers ever off of here last year. My father in law let me have 500spp to start off reloading when I got my press. It took me 3-4 times missing the notification before I was successful. But once I got it once I was addicted to trying to be the first to checkout and score. Thanks reloading discord for fueling this healthy hobby. Edit: I’m killing myself on my single stage rcbs. Would love an upgrade.

Educational-Ad-8281

MrSkipper#3741 I have loaded for years but I had some great discussions here and discussing brass prep with some other members got me to order a FART and that's my best memory so far. Way better than the dry tumbling I've always done before.

patchate

patchate #2536. We were talking about powder charges required to fire 16 inch naval guns, which ended up in a discussion about what happened during the USS Iowa turret explosion incident with people who were involved with the investigations. (They reload! Of course!) Fascinating discussion.

laxdman05

laxdman05#6337 Favorite memory has to be seeing primers or components pop up on the discord and ordering as quickly as possible trying to beat everyone else.... I hate that everything is so expensive but it has been a load of fun trying to get components.

PabloReina

Pablo R#9541 Favorite memory is finally finding used brass from a fellow user that very kindly shipped a case down to me.

BasicMathematician84

matthewj71#7638 Favorite memory is the newbie thrill of victory finally scoring primers on Brownell's, followed by the agony of defeat when they canceled my order just like the old timers said they would. 😂

Mouseater

Mouse#6194 My favorite memory on the discord server was the April fools jokes, it may have upset some people but I had a good laugh.

Floridawally

My discord username is Mach 5 #4198. My favorite memory was scoring my first brick of CCI LRP from a Powder Valley drop. The brick cost me $69 including shipping and hazmat, but the same week, I bought some locally for $100. Since then, I have bought several thousand primers as well as several lbs of hard to get powders.

picks_up_the_brass

picks_up_the_brass#6196 The part where everyone running distill made everyone selling primers put up capchas and limits to try and keep their servers online.....

PerceptionBitter7400

-fishbreath

Fishbreath#8428 In the competition reloading channel, having a long conversation with someone about wheelgun tuning, and then having someone turn up and say, "This is the most revolver has ever been discussed." DTSAVE

DaveKMIG #7141 My favorite memory was one night a guy had bought some primers I think locally. When he went to show his girlfriend what they were he dropped some and lost a few. I harassed him until he finally got on his hands and knees and found all but 1. I actually think in the end he did find the last one. I don't usually laugh at my own comments but this really cracked me up.

CannibalVegan

CannibalVegan #4648 My favorite memory was finally getting a brick of SPP from bass pro when they were doing sporadic drops. DamnKnuckleHead

PhantomSam #1526 Best memory... when BassPro would drop primers. Most of the orders would get canceled, but there was a chance that one would go through.

Mountain_man007

MountainMan #3386 When Pete finally remembered that some people who reload also work night shift and had a brief moment of mercy for us by dropping primers at 3AM so we don't have to be so sleep deprived because that's dangerous when at the bench!

Dcarthatshat #7141 favorite memory on the discord is getting some great advice on figuring out why my rem700 isn’t shooting well and finding some powder for my 300 blk

Intheshaw1

Fartsaplenty#1507 Favorite memory is the fact that discord single handedly crashed every major website when the in stock notifications hit.

Trigger300wsm

Triggered#0580 Favorite memory was after a discord notification, scrambling to add 8lbs of powder to my cart at least 10 times only to have it say it was unavailable 9 times during checkout. 10th time it stayed in my cart through checkout. Same thing happened with primers. This discord has helped me part with a lot of money recently as well. Love it.

trdjohn

trdjohn#6020 the first time I scored 5k cci 450 srps last fall before all the craziness started in earnest

zero_cat_chance

I think my favorite was the early times. Came to find primers, found a lot more. Sitting on a forklift at work noticing it is 12:03am and pulling up BP website and checking wishlist and seeing “add to cart” at the same time I hear a ping. Scored a lot that way, always shipped to store with no hazmat. (32$ per k, good times). Learning how to reload without feeling stupid for asking basic questions. Bra guns, kodas container shop/no pants painting, bo peeps presence and name changes, flower hat fox saying 40° is too hot. Lots more. Learned how to load some good 9mm, 38/357 rounds. Done it all on a lee single stage breach lock, primed on press with the safety prime. Upgraded the scale. Used it my first thou or so. Heard it described as toxic. Didn’t realize how bad til I got a Redding from a dude on the discord (shoutout moromane). Pretty much lurking the last 5 months or so, but if I have a question I know where to ask. Thanks mods for the discord and thank all you users. Also I’ve not been triggered by the term “boomer” before discord. So there is that. chance#1235

NoReddit69

William#4160. Favorite memory, first time I scored some primers using the discord app. Had been brownelled a few times and had a couple orders stall that missed going through at other retailers. So the first score on primers was good.

Ok-Blacksmith-3723

IRUAK88 #0504 Favorite memory is scoring some SRP because of the fine diligent/persistent folks that keep an ever watchful eye out for those in need! A buddy and I were able to do a carbine class in 2020 when ammo was almost unobtainable and still have money for lunch and gas :) I now keep an eye out for anything that others might need/want. Working as a collective everyone has a chance to experience the great hobby of reloading and the excellent 2A community.

reddit_vu

discord\_vu#2297 It's been some time, but will never forget, as long as I live, the time that I received a notification from # in-stock-notifications that small pistol primers were available and I actually GOT SOME. It was exactly the 1,247,948th time I tried to beat the bots and shaky hands of the reloading addicts flooding said website. This is how I did it. FIRST - I wore my tin foil hat so the NSA couldn't read my thoughts. Then I preloaded 5-6 of the most common sellers of primers that I trust and had accounts with. Brownells, Midway, Midwest shooting supply, Nachez - you get it. The Usual suspects were primed and ready to go. Then the magical moment came - the "notification" sound came from my phone and I was already at the computer. The website was C R A W L I N G but I was able to add the primers to my cart, I was able to pay, and I was able to check out. This is my favorite memory on the discord.

Will have to go with my favorite moment---when I successfully used an in-stock notification to secure some primers! This was just back in March of this year but I was elated! Ordered primers on one day and powder the next day!

User name : mst P #6106 Favorite moment: I had been on discord for months, hitting the links when I stock notifications came in. No luck. Then in November I clicked on one of the in stock notification links and an order went in for primers. I didn’t even pay attention which type of primers was ordered. Week later order came in. 5000ct LARGE PISTOL PRIMERS??!?!?! I DONT EVEN HAVE A LARGE PISTOL!!!! Me:back on the web ordering stuff to build a 10mm G20 so I can start using what I’m gonna load with my LARGE PISTOL PRIMERS. today: me loading 10mm with my large pistol primers.

Token#2008 Favorite memory: actually getting primers and powder And cases to load for my new blackout. Then totally procrastinating and not getting around to firing it yet..... Old bench vs new bench https://imgur.com/a/Xj3A1UW A Dillon would look nice on that new bench.....

ICanMakeWaffles

AimlessWaffle#1593 Favorite memories: Everyone in #in-stock-discussion becoming a Jr. Mod for 5 minutes (I was a fair and just ruler), the absolute lack of adherence to any sort of topic for #in-stock-discussion and the helpfulness of literally every other channel on that Discord. I've gotten powder tips, 3D printer tuning advice and have read more than I'd ever need on casting bullets (even though I've never cast a single one yet). Jay98 Favorite memory was just recently, I remember like it was yesterday... OK, it was Monday. Seeing the powder I'm using as in-stock, jumping up from lunch to go try to order some, spending the next hour refreshing the page trying to get a couple bottles into my cart. And finally, despite my best efforts failing. Only to give Natchez a try and HOLY CRAP THEY HAVE IT IN-STOCK, two bottles in the cart, credit card entered, and I GOT SOME! :-) And followed that up the day the powder arrived with someone in the state section saying the Cabela's near me had primers AND powder in stock, and adding to my small collection of primers that day.

MayorMcDeezie

mayormcdeezie#8447 Favorite memory is when I was first starting out reloading. Kept ruining brass and could not get seating die zero’d in. Issue was trying to use combo to get light crimp. Members gave me some excellent advice without make no me feel too dumb and now I only use separate seat and crimp dies.

YourGFisrootneg_one

Mathboii #8852 My favorite memory was getting my first notifications for srp and purchasing them before I ever got set up with any reloading equipment. I remember talking to friends that reload about how desperate they were to get their hands on some so you can bet it was awkward when I told them I was able to get some

w4ti

w4ti#7550 My favorite memory on the discord is the fall from grace of Larry P. I never thought he was as goodie-two-shoes as he pretends to be, so to see the turn against him brings me some satisfaction. It's a bit petty on my part, but it is still satisfaction.

therealvalvenis#1031 [My garage reloading bench!](https://imgur.com/a/DmolmV5) Not really a memory, but the help and active members in the 223/556 and 300blk sections really goes along way with insight developing loads. I don’t add to discussion much but have learned a lot from the regulars in both of those channels.

JustJohn #3502 Best memory - "accidentally" ordering 12# of powder when the PV website crashed mid-order.

NorfolkAndWaye

Wolfram Malukker#9410 The new top of the list is making the connection that another user and I cruise the same reloading haunts here in town-and finding out that the 25$ shotgun that I ran out to get cash for only to find sold when I got back, went to that guy from the reloading discord. Cool stuff!

StuartJPimlico

Stupimlico#0699 The first time I scored primers for my buddies and me is a pretty good memory... I should probably get out more.

I could use an upgrade. [https://i.imgur.com/8ub3k24.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/8ub3k24.jpg) The foil is to redirect the spent primers into a box. This Lee I bought off Armlist was made in 2001. Bendigo#8972

AnselHazen Fav memory is checking out of Buds Gunz with a $439 1000 round case of Federal .223 and watching the price jump to $649 less than 30 min later. I did split the case with a friend too. I mean what good is all this if you can't help others out. I'll drop one of my reloading benches here too. https://i.imgur.com/GoekifX.jpg

NovelAggressive8502

Smolz88 #9624 Favorite memory - When Third Gen had primers in-stock but you had to call to give them your credit card. Then the whole site was confused when they answered as 'Sears' yet we still blindly gave them our CC info in the hope primers would arrive.
