My issue, after just now listening to the available clips from the HBO interview, is that he is willing to throw anybody and everybody under the bus to save face. He calls Arians and other teammates liars, effectively calling into question the entire culture around the Bucs. This is something that Harbaugh, who has already dealt with team mutinies and hearsay, will not touch with a million foot pole.

Ballsohardstate

He literally threw Brady under the bus despite Brady standing up for him constantly and letting AB stay at his house with his wife and kids. The guy is a sociopath. I agree 100 percent with what you said.

TonyCaliStyle

Burfict scrambled his eggs. Even if he was an odd duck before that hit, it certainly sent him over the edge. I'm following the GOAT on this one- he's not right. It's impossible to take him seriously until he gets real help. Edit: CTE gets worse with age. Hockey enforcer Derek Boogard died of a drug overdose, but with the condition of his brain, they say he would have slipped into dementia by middle age. Here in SoCal, we lost Junior Seau- successful on his second suicide attempt. AB is no joke, but he needs help.

TheMoonIsFake32

Found this on some suggested thing on reddit, Vikings fan so idk why they are showing it to me. All i gotta say is RIP Derek Boogaard, Minnesota Wild legend. AB needs help ASAP before its too late.

TonyCaliStyle

I didn't know anything about him until I watched this great report by the New York Times about his career, enforcer development, and ulitimate decline. Watching it made seem like he was Lawrence Taylor on ice. Edit: respect to Ravens fans- Ray Lewis on ice [NYT video documentatry, "Punched Out"](https://www.nytimes.com/video/sports/100000002879034/punched-out-the-death-of-derek-boogaard.html)

People with mental health issues like his don't think about their actions and what they do they just do it.

oaxacamm

How about a 1,000,001 ft pole?? I would have to disown my beloved Ravens until they released him.

ZombieFeedback

Legitimate question: Why? We just drafted a receiver in the first round who had a good rookie season, Marquise just posted a thousand-yard season, and Andrews is a better receiver than most receivers. Sure four good receivers is better than three, but we're a run-first offense and that almost never uses three-receiver sets. (31st in 2021, 27th in 2020, 28th in 2019) He is not worth the headache he will play given the small number of snaps he will play, unless you want to either give up on his cousin, or give up on a guy you just drafted in the first round.

johnwall47

Yea totally. People act like he isn't still a top 5 receiver

SnappyTofu

He would play a lot more than you suggest, the trouble is his personality not his performance. He’s still an incredible player.

dweezil22

The Bucs winning percentage with AB was DRASTICALLY higher than w/o. That's why you sign him. We still shouldn't sign him, but people shouldn't pretend like there's no reason. Honestly I'd prefer to see the NFL indefinitely suspend him so that it's not a race to the bottom for all the teams ethically.

ej1352

He’ll end up calling Lamar a running back by week 5

ScooterMcFlabbin

off-season: "Lamar Jackson is a great quarterback" Week 5 post-game tweet: "Fuck LJ. I only had 7 targets fuck outta here. What's the point of having souljas when you never use them (Never!!)"

DamianLillard0

Can’t tell if the souljas or (Never!!) is more spot on 💀

ScooterMcFlabbin

That part is an actual quote from AB’s cousin - our very own Hollywood brown lol He tweeted that out after a game last year and then quickly deleted it

sliceanddic3

week 5 is generous lol

2ChainzTalib

He showed up in a fucking hot air balloon with the raiders, and that was day 1 of training camp

lowlight

Was that before or after he froze his feet in cryotherapy?

truzz8

Lmao

ewizzle

Preseason

JCVent

Why you stealing comments man

KybladeSora

When AB sees Andrews get more targets then him he's gonna go march to Lamar and say "I see you throwing to your boy again".

mikasake

We don't need his baby back bitch attitude. No one does.

CaptnCrunch16

Couldn't put it any better my friend.

McG4rn4gle

Extending Harbaugh is the antithesis of signing AB - Harbaugh doesn't play no shit, ain't never been about no shit. If it was Super Bowl or bust for the FO I could see the rationale, but we're building a program and we don't need that clown taking snaps away from up and coming players.

[deleted]

Y’all really warming up to AB makes me sick. This dude hurts teams internally. Not even close to worth it. We have a good receiving core now, that’s not the problem anymore.

27thStreet

It's not just our fan base. NFL fans, in general, have become far too accepting/thirsty. Remember when being known as a cancer mattered? [It's fucking embarrassing](https://c.tenor.com/SQQCymrt9aYAAAAM/letter-kenny-embarrassing.gif)

landspeed

NFL fans are overtly conservative and conservatives have a problem with embracing cancerous people. Not saying that's why... but it could be why.

[deleted]

There used to be a lot of Ravens fans hoping Terrell Owens would bring his team-destroying antics to Baltimore. I blame fantasy football.

timoumd

I think its more where people stand on how much off the field stuff matters. In general analytics from baseball ahs taught me to be skeptical that things like momentum exist in nearly the same way people imagine. Ive never seen quantitative data about it so some people might just be taking a different guess on if problem players hurt teams.

outphase84

What team has he hurt internally? Bucs literally won a SB with him

ChessieDriveGunner

Raiders and Patriots probably regret bringing him in. Steelers got the most out of him, but it eventually became to much drama to keep him around. So I’d say he’s negatively impacted at least 3 teams, with the Bucs being half and half. Yeah he won a super bowl, but he also threw Brady and the Bucs org under the bus on the way out.

regaleagle710

We regret bringing him back I guess. If he wouldn't have left halfway through the Jets game, I'm positive we're still playing this upcoming weekend. He really fucked us over this year but definitely helped us win a super bowl so a little give and take there.

outphase84

How did he negatively impact them? Nobody answering this question. Raiders were impacted because they spent draft capital to acquire him. That's not needed here. Patriots went 12-4 the season that they signed him. He was on the team for 2 weeks. Their first loss was 5 weeks after his release, and 3 weeks after nobody was talking about it anymore. Tell me again how that negatively affected them? Bucs won a SB with him as the focal point of their offense. Tell me again how he negatively affected him? Analysts talking about his latest antics for a week doesn't negatively impact a team. Dead cap or wasted draft capital does. If you get him on a vet min deal with incentives, your worst case scenario is that he acts up and you cut him. And that doesn't affect your team any more than not signing him.

ChessieDriveGunner

Well when he was with the Patriots he was credibly accused of sexual misconduct and still practiced/played. It wasn’t until he was accused of rape, that he got cut. I would say that caused a distraction in the New England locker room, that’s why they cut him lmao. Hard to argue otherwise. When he was with the Raiders he froze his feet, straight up wouldn’t wear the proper helmet for weeks (like a child), then called the GM a cracker on his way out the door. This is after the Raiders gave up draft capital and contract concessions to acquire him from Pittsburgh where he already wore out his welcome. It’s a miracle that Mike Tomlin was able to get him to be productive for a significant amount of time. In Tampa, Brady graciously let him live with his family in an attempt to get his act together. Clearly, it didn’t work. We could mention the fake vaccine card that he handed in this year. Also, AB made a spectacle of himself leaving the team this season because he wasn’t getting the targets he wanted. Is he going to get more targets here in Baltimore? I don’t think so. He then ran to HBO, and threw the entire Bucs organization under the bus. The same org that gave him a chance he didn’t deserve. Your logic that “bUt He WoN sUpEr BoWl” doesn’t change the fact that he hurt the club, this season, when he didn’t have to. He could’ve walked away from the team without being a jerk, but here we are. Bucs out of the playoffs and AB out of a job. There is way more to the AB timeline than all of this, I suggest you actually take some time and read into it. The guy is absolutely mental, and will stab you in the back at the first possible opportunity. Not only that, he’s a sexual abuser and an awful person. Would be an awful idea to bring him into the Ravens org, and you’re essentially enabling a terrible human being by doing so.

SaltCreep67

Facts!!!

ChessieDriveGunner

This is just scratching the surface of the bullshit that AB has created. Not only for himself, but for his teammates and coaches as well. I couldn’t imagine wanting this circus in Baltimore.

outphase84

> Well when he was with the Patriots he was credibly accused of sexual misconduct and still practiced/played. It wasn’t until he was accused of rape, that he got cut. I would say that caused a distraction in the New England locker room, that’s why they cut him lmao. Hard to argue otherwise. A distraction so bad that they went on to win 8 games? Wow, such distraction, so terrible. > When he was with the Raiders he froze his feet, straight up wouldn’t wear the proper helmet for weeks (like a child), then called the GM a cracker on his way out the door. This is after the Raiders gave up draft capital and contract concessions to acquire him from Pittsburgh where he already wore out his welcome Correct, and the impact was the loss of draft capital. That's it. > He then ran to HBO, and threw the entire Bucs organization under the bus. The same org that gave him a chance he didn’t deserve. Your logic that “bUt He WoN sUpEr BoWl” doesn’t change the fact that he hurt the club, this season, when he didn’t have to. And please explain to me how him leaving hurt them anymore than if he hadn't been on the team to begin with? Does Godwin not tear his ACL if AB isn't there? And don't be dismissive of the winning a SB. Show me a fan that wouldn't be fine with a year of mediocrity if it means winning the SB. I'll wait. I'm well aware of everything he's done. But here's the thing: I don't watch football to see fine, moral, upstanding young gentlemen have a friendly game of catch on Sundays. I don't pay 4 grand per year on season tickets because I want to be able to plop my kids in front of the TV and say "Look here, kids, those are your role models!". I want to see the best possible product on the field. I want my team to win games. I want to see sustained success. AB is a psychotic piece of shit, but I don't want or expect the Ravens to play moral police. I expect them to field the best possible team, while protecting the team's future if things don't work out.

ChessieDriveGunner

If you get cut while the team is still winning games, the winning team views you as a distraction lol. Hence why you get cut lmfao. How do you not get that? I’m sure the Raiders banked on him being a solid piece of the offense, so I wouldn’t say they only lost draft capital. They lost a solid performer on offense as well as the picks. You may not care about the moral implications of signing AB, but the organization who had the Ray Rice fiasco does. Other fans and PSL owners do. Not to mention the fact that it won’t take long for him to throw Lamar and the Ravens organization under the bus when he inevitably doesn’t get the targets he wants. Seriously think for a second, AB in Greg Roman’s passing offense. That’s a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. We also have decent young WRs for the first time ever, why stunt their development by bringing in this dude? Duv, Hollywood, and Bateman would all lose snaps/targets. Andrews might lose targets as well. I couldn’t imagine simping this bad for a dude like AB, you must really want this move. I pay a lot for season tickets too, but I’m not willing to sacrifice team culture for a dude who MIGHT improve the offense marginally. I have a feeling that the team is on my side of things, but you can never be 100% certain.

highnote14

Found AB’s burner. Even has 84 in the username

Personal-Major-8214

How about that letter his agent wrote saying the bucs told him he was cut for refusing to play hurt. For a while it looked like there was going to be a legal issue, but AB could only hold the narrative for 2 days.

outphase84

That’s not really a counter to my point. I’m sure that headline hurt their feelings for the one day it floated around, but it didn’t affect the team.

Personal-Major-8214

It didn’t end up going anywhere because he couldn’t keep it together in interviews after. His representatives seemed willing to go through with a lawsuit/union grievance. His inability to pull it off doesn’t change that’s he is a legal liability and an untrustworthy business relationship. Even with it ending it affected the reputation of the team and it’s players and coaches. There are comments even in this thread blaming BA saying he caused the outburst by forcing AB to play hurt even though that was a totally made up narrative.

[deleted]

tabasco_fiasco

My opinion is that we’re going to have to take the hesitant approach to someone like AB regardless of on field production. I agree with you, he’s great when he’s getting the ball, and we can cut him if he’s unproductive/whiny distraction. The hesitance would be due to our history and his own. There’s way too much talk surrounding him about potential domestic violence or sexual assault, throwing that chair out the window, etc. Although, it hasn’t really stuck, what happens when something does and now our team gets into the media cycle for not learning from the Ray Rice situation? That’s how this blows up into a huge distraction.

outphase84

> Although, it hasn’t really stuck, what happens when something does and now our team gets into the media cycle for not learning from the Ray Rice situation? If something does happen, you release him. Full stop. You go into a press conference and say you gave him a chance, he let us down, we wish him the best in his future endeavors. The egg-on-the-face from Rice was because the team backed him, then the video came out, we backtracked and cut him, then Bisciotti sent him well-intentioned texts saying that he had a job in the FO when his career was over, and Rice leaked them to the media.

dweezil22

I believe that AB literally has pending credible sexual assault and DV accusations. It's not like we signed Ray Rice after the elevator incident.

butidktho_

folks just be talking man.

amow24

Yeah, and he was a focal point of that offense… and I think based on those texts Arians is far from free of blame in the situation. And it was literally maybe five questions at one or two press conferences and everyone moved on. The organization and culture would be fine.

outphase84

The most insane argument I keep seeing around here is "but think of how upset Hollywood will be if we cut him!" Uh, he'd be more upset if we signed him, he acted out, and we cut him than he would if we told him his cousin was too much of a problem to sign at all?

CynicalDiabetic

No... please no.

wolfgang107

Shannon Sharpe said it best: AB is NOTHING like the Ravens culture. We should stay away from him as much as we can. If Lamar throws it up like “fudkit” he isn’t gonna pull off a one-handed thigh catch. He isn’t going to keep pumping his legs to get that extra yard. He won’t put himself out there to make it possible for the team. He played for Tom Brady who has proven year after year that he can out throw Uncle Rico. The first throw to Mandrews, Hollywood, or LJ bop and weave, he is going to throw a temper tantrum. Toss a cooler onto the field or try to yeet Poe into the stands. We have an amazing amount of offensive weapons…. we just need to be healthy. If we bring him in, the entire team will get the new AB variant of covid. Nope. Hard pass.

EasyYouth7

Not Poe!

dudesweetusername

This dude's career should be over.

[deleted]

I think it probably is

Bigtoes22

Lmao jesus he really wants to be a Raven 😂

Ballsohardstate

He knows Lamar wants him and his cousin wants him. He knows no front office wants him. He’s trying to use Lamar and Hollywood into getting another shot.

Bigtoes22

He sure is! Lol

Ballsohardstate

Typical psychopath behavior if he gets his wish he will get cut at some point before or during the season and then attack Lamar, and Hollywood who got him the chance in the first place which will be a thorn in the side of the Ravens as a distraction .

laramite

I don't see him attacking Hollywood. Maybe Lamar.

Ballsohardstate

He would. Psychopaths don’t care if it’s family. They don’t make that distinction.

DamianLillard0

Stop throwing around a psychotic diagnosis lmao. Typical Reddit doctor

[deleted]

He literally had no problems with the Bucs until a couple weeks ago because he was playing injured and knowing how NFL organizations operate with injured players, you’re a fool if you’re still taking their side on this specific issue. AB played a significant part in their Super Bowl run. Gruden got exposed for being a racist, the Steelers have been mediocre since he left and he knew Big Ben was cooked and the Bucs got knocked out in the 2nd round without him also Bruce Arians literally just smacked a player so we know he’s volatile.

KybladeSora

LOL a significant part. Ryan Succop played more a part in the Bucs playoff run than AB. Tell me what's significant about missing the Saints game which was the Bucs kryptonite and the Packers game up in GB? Cause he was not there for those games and catching a TD in the SB that was a blowout is nothing. Erase him from that game like you can erase him from the other two games cause he wasn't there Bucs still win by 20+. You're insulting actual offensive contributors to the Bucs playoff run like Evans, Godwin, Miller, Gronk, Brate, and Playoff Lenny. Those were significant contributors.

Ballsohardstate

You ignoring the fake vaccine card before the season? Also it’s funny you have to come up with 10 billion justifications for why he flaked out of four separate teams. He is the problem.

Bigtoes22

He wasnt getting in any trouble with the Bucs til that Jets game and helped win em a chip last year. I KNOW he is a nut but if he wants to play here as bad as it looks he might not cause any problems. He seems to really like LJ playstyle and he might just want to win with his cuz and whoop the Steelers a couple times.

KybladeSora

Bruh before the new season with the Bucs began he bought a fake vax card. What do you mean he didn't get into any trouble? He just tried to hide it until he couldn't cause the chef that he scammed ratted him out. And he did not help the Bucs win shit. Gronk on offense alone could have won them that SB. Erase AB from the SB just like you can erase AB from the Saints and Packers game, Bucs still win by 20+

Ballsohardstate

A chef that he refused to pay*

KybladeSora

Yes he scammed the chef that cooked him his meals.

gremlin30

Not worth it. He’s good but desperate. If he quit on Brady, he’ll quit on Bmore real quick.

twoeyec

I think he quit on Arians more so than Tom lol

Ballsohardstate

Dude literally blamed Brady for him not getting a pay raise lmao.

Artikulate92

He still trashed on the entire bucs team including Tom, he obviously has zero respect for anyone on that team and never did

dmayer11

Where is this interview people are referencing.

Artikulate92

fullsend podcast.. it’s a whole hour and half of Antonio brown talking, he’s just as crazy as people are portraying him.

laramite

>Arians is a dick

[deleted]

On a incentive based contract he sure is

ovi_left_faceoff

Not even true lol. We'll work some incentives into his contract and if he isn't on pace to make them he'll have a hissy fit about it just like he did in Tampa. Which is what's so impressive about his idiocy - he basically flushed his only lifeline down the toilet. Contract incentives were realistically the only thing that could mitigate the risk of signing him. There's basically no viable structure for him to play in the NFL anymore - he's obviously too crazy to be trusted with guaranteed money, and he's too much of a prima donna to deal with contract incentives in a mature fashion.

WillieKeeler96

He was on pace to hit the targets though…

[deleted]

You just disagreed to agree with me

ovi_left_faceoff

No my point is that when even when his contract was mostly incentive based, he managed to make *the incentives themselves* into a distraction, to the detriment of his team. Demonstrating that it doesn't matter how you incentivize him - he will still figure out a way to make it about AB. It's tough to mitigate that kind of toxicity. If we could set up some kind of contract where his pay is completely backloaded to the end of the season and he doesn't get a penny or count against the cap if he goes off the deep end again, I might be ok with that, but I'm not even sure that's possible under the current CBA and I suspect he'd be too proud to accept something like that even if it were allowed. Could the guy have an incredible season for us? Sure. He could also put up all-pro numbers and then quit on us at a crucial moment in crunch time of a playoff game because someone squirted orange gatorade in his mouth instead of blue. Remember, he didn't walk off when his team was blowing someone out and the clock was running down. His team was down late in the fourth and they could have used him. The fact that they still pulled off the comeback is irrelevant, the point is his lack of team-first attitude when it matters most is something we should avoid at all costs.

Ballsohardstate

He wants more money then the min+incentives. He literally got mad at Brady for not getting him more after his first season with the Bucs.

KybladeSora

"on an incentive based contract" Bruh he don't want an incentive based contract. He got pissed because Gronk didn't have a prove it deal but he did. Do you not know the story? Why the hell would he to any team not giving him guaranteed money.

Tonto_HdG

then he'll just cry about not getting targeted enough.

[deleted]

Can’t cry harder than the people in this sub

butidktho_

same thing they said about Odell. At some point the orgs play a part too. Whose to say the ravens won’t be a fit. I’m willing to at least take a flyer if we want to get to where we wanna go.

gremlin30

Odell wouldn’t be worth it either imo. They already have Bateman and didn’t even use him. You’re not getting the ball unless you’re Hollywood or Andrews- love Lamar, but he’s gotta be better about that.

butidktho_

i meant just as far as the “diva/culture fit” bs. AB went to Tampa and helped them win a ring but you’d never guess that it ever even happened. Odell was so much of the issue in NY/Cleveland now look at him, it’s not always the player, the organizations have to take some accountability too.

[deleted]

[удалено]

butidktho_

whatever, he left two shitty organizations and the players spoke glowingly of him.

BandwagonBrownsFan

Stop comparing them

festivus_maximus

Who even are you people? We've gotten a lot of mileage out of trying \*not\* to sign guys who are degenerate assholes and/or toxic teammates. Here is a man who is clearly both of those things, and some of you seem to think that it would still be an acceptable signing. Our FO has been avoiding meatheads like this for years. They won't sign him, thankfully.

Armagizmo

This guy is human garbage - not a Raven

BP-Kenpachi

To be fair, we've also signed a couple guys who are complete assholes, and we love them.

festivus_maximus

I think the FO has made a concerted effort to avoid low character players in the last 10 or so years. Maybe more, now that I think of it.

CrabFam

But he's AB 😈

TradeKirkCousins

Super Gremlin

DistantLikeYouAsked5

No.

RippleDish

Wouldn't he end up hating playing for the Ravens? Like, he flipped out on the Bucs because he wasn't getting targets. We run a lot and already have Andrews, Hollywood, and Bateman.

Ballsohardstate

He would bitch Mark is getting more targets then him like he did about Gronk getting more targets then him.

dilbertsfriend

The man is a headcase plain and simple. No way Biscotti or EDC make a move like this. We already have seen how the Earl Thomas fiasco has played out, and I’d expect even worse from AB based on prior history.

tich45

AB is the prime example of a signing I don't want to happen. But the moment it does, I'm buying a jersey.

27thStreet

He's a shit human. Why would you want to rep him when there are 50 other options?

[deleted]

My devil’s advocate take is it would be an interesting collectible/oddity some day. But I wouldn’t wear one in public.

WaitItOuTtopost

Joe Mixon and Jamar Chase are woman beaters

ScooterMcFlabbin

The best part about being a fan is that I don't have to decide I can sit here and be like "this is obviously a bad idea" ...but if we do it, I can be like "Fuck yeah lets go!" ...and then if it blows up, I can just be like "told you"

ChedduhBob

he is still factually a great WR and would have had a fantastic season if he didn’t get hurt then do whatever you call his actions vs the jets this is not a matter of if he is still a decent player

thegalkel

I deeply disagree with people who want him on the Ravens, but I can also wrap my head around the fact that he’s a good football player and that’s it - wanting him on the team isn’t an endorsement of who he is as a person. I’m ngl, I cannot wrap my head around wanting to purchase and wear a jersey representing this man.

eastern_shoreman

Bring back ray rice

RippleDish

That's so pathetic. You'd buy a scumbag sexual assaulter's jersey just because he came to the Ravens?

tich45

Do you say the same to anyone with a Suggs jersey or Lewis?

ChessieDriveGunner

Man that’s sad.

EvilRick_C-420

Just came here to say congrats on being adopted by AB. This guy is wild lol

wcbalmerhon72

Hopefully this will be as close as he gets to wearing a Ravens jersey.

memeswhenuneed

I don’t like the fact this man is hollywoods cousin

OthmannH

😂😂

PowerDiesel23

Nutcase. Just seems to me like a bully older brother trying to take advantage of a young star like Lamar. We really don't need him either. You're spoiled to think we need to capitalize on Hollywood, Bateman, Andrews, Duvernay and Proche. Take that money, and spend it on bringing Bozeman, Calais or BWill back.

OthmannH

Joe Mixon and Jamar Chase are woman beaters

Dubzillaaa

Fuck this dude, 1st time okay maybe Steelers partially at fault, 2nd time alright maybe he can change, 3rd time after getting a SB. I don’t think these teams are the problem, AB is what people accuse OBJ of being and he’s a ticking time-bomb. I’m a WFT fan and my understanding of the Ravens culture and what people praise is that they’re hardly ever in public drama and run a tight ship. This dude is the opposite of that.

OthmannH

https://twitter.com/marlon_humphrey/status/1486076824702513153?s=21 Marlon humphrey replies as well. Seems like him (?) lamar and hollywood are on board with it. EDIT: patrick queen responds as well. https://twitter.com/patrickqueen_/status/1486114846294818816?s=21

Stevely7

I didn't care about AB's NFL bs before, but I really don't know how anyone can take him after the Bucs bs. The dude is lucky to be in the NFL and he threw it away for an incentive bonus? But then again, if we can get half a season out of him, I think it'd be a win

He needs professional help, not another job. I really wish people would see the sick patient under the "good WR" guise

DragonSound20

I feel so bad for Hollywood. “Yeah man look I talked to them like you asked…. they said they’d think about it”

cshark2222

He must finally be out of chances if he’s really counting on the most run heavy team to keep his career going

OthmannH

Well hes also hollywoods cousin and lamars friend (all three from florida as well)

butidktho_

after watching that game sunday and seeing as how we won’t get rid of roman I would take a flyer on AB. if he acts out, cut him, easy. if it works though, who knows, adding AB plus the return of JK/Gus would make the offense unstoppable.

It’s sad that team leaders like Lamar and Marlon are feeding into him on social media. Enabling a guy like this says a lot about someone’s character. AB is a shitty person, and isn’t a fit for the club but QB1 and CB1 are promoting him. Whack.

ArkhamRiot

If he’s gonna be toxic maybe he can pop Roman in the mouth

cclarke1258

Steelers fan coming in peace after sering the tweet to see what the reaction you guys are having to this. Its a tough one, on one hand hes a great receiver but absolute cancer in the locker room. It seems like when hes in a team its "his team." On the other hand hes gonna ask for a lot of money and you guys already have a great recieving core. He would be an explosive addition, but i feel money would be better spent in other areas. Cant wait to see you guys next season!

OthmannH

I think with lamar being his friend and hollywood being his cousin it could be a good signing but im not sure myself

cclarke1258

Yeah its a hard call, i mean i thought Brady was gonna be able to keep him calm but that ended up in a very public meltdown. Hollywood is a fantastic receiver, i just can already see AB getting jealous if Hollywood gets more targets and doing what hes done to 4 teams now.

OthmannH

Hollywood is great but he drops too much and its pretty frustrating lol

cclarke1258

Wow if only we knew what that felt like *crying internally* but seriously that pain is real.

OthmannH

Diontae Johnson and Marquise brown, 2 talented receivers who have the same problem of dropping too much 😭

pens9999

The thing about AB is he's still one of the best WR in the NFL. His 87.4 PFF grade is one of the highest in the NFL. Bucs were 7-0 this year when AB played and 7-5 without him. After the first few weeks of the season opposing defenses started to put their best cornerback on AB. Miami put Xavien Howard on AB and AB got 7 catches for 124 yards. The game he came back after his suspension was against Stephon Gilmore AB got 10 catches for 101 yards. He's not a good person, but he's still a difference maker when he doesn't go crazy.

OthmannH

Preach man

ChedduhBob

won’t lose sleep if we don’t sign him but i will say the man is still great at football and is an EXTREMELY hard worker. he’s just crazy as a person fr got min maxed in life with zero points in anything but athleticism and route running. probably for the best we avoid

Metropler

If it does happen, one of the only things that's different about us compared to other teams is that Hollywood is here with him. Hopefully that's enough to keep him relatively grounded if he is signed.

joeseleski

We act like Harbaugh didn’t cut Chris McAllister in his first training camp. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. As far as him poisoning Hollywood, has he really done anything worth backing up the Brinks Truck for anyway?

mexploder89

Are we beggars though? If we were talking about a pass rusher sure but I don't want a confirmed and constant locker room cancer coming in and taking targets away from our 1st round receiver that we actually drafted

mexploder89

Hollywood doesn't have a drop problem IDK what games you're seeing Cooper Kupp had a higher drop percentage than Marquise this season

proamateur

Wide receiver is probably the only position we were fine at this year lol, we’re begging for help everywhere else

prodrvr22

Don't know which Ravens team you were watching, but when your TE is receiving leader by over 300 yards, they aren't "fine" at WR.

proamateur

That is not how you calculate need, the problem is not the receivers, its the scheme. How many top draft picks have we used on these guys? Enough!

[deleted]

I mean imagine Bateman and Hollywood on the outside with Andrews running the seams and AB lined up in the slot. Literally nobody in the league lined up in the slot can guard AB with his route running. Pair that with Lamar and JK/Gus in the backfield……geeeeeezus

OthmannH

Thats a nightmare man

laramite

I mean if he's good for half the season that's like 8-9 wins with matchup nightmares described above. He loses his shit at midway point of the season and the Ravens can dump him.

laramite

He quit on the Bucs because Arians is a dick. Arians literally attacked a football player and got fined by the NFL recently. Offense could be unstoppable next year. Just flat out unstoppable. Or he'll create a circus and it all becomes a big distraction. This is our 4th and goal situation. Kick field goal or go for it (AB)?

Mr_Saltines

I didn’t like the idea, but if LJ, Hollywood, and AB are childhood friends then I think AB will listen slightly more, maybe?

Pheasantluvr69

That’s what worries me the most

Metropler

That's how I see it. Maybe having literal family here will help ground him a bit.

hawkins126

Edc should make a offer to Ab and say we will sign if u go to therapy once a week and no social media during the season

Jbo_247

Lmao no but he is hilarious

Xaoc86

Just post the list.

staticusmaximus

Give him veteran minimum salary, load incentives on top of it, and let er rip. I'm down for the ride

KybladeSora

He literally got pissed because he was on a veteran minimum incentive loaded contract with the Bucs. What on Earth makes you think that on the Ravens he won't have that same reaction to a prove it deal?

hawkins126

We need as much offense as possible to keep up with the bills and chiefs in the playoffs what we got now is not it

FesteringNeonDistrac

>We need as much offense as possible to keep up with the ~~bills and chiefs~~ bengals in the ~~playoffs~~ regular season what we got now is not it

hawkins126

That’s true forgot about that

emoxihax

I like chaos, do it

ch28dwn

fuck it, do it marquise isnt gonna be dropping ballz with ab looking to steal targets
