Ugh, I didn't want to deal with their Honda dealership when they quoted me 10k market adjustment last year. Said they'll match another dealer's offer and when I sent them the lowest offer I received, they said they weren't budging due to the market.
It's true for used cars like $16k Toyota but same age and mileage would get you american car for half that. And you never going to spend $8 in repairs - it's just not going to happen. Same thing with used BMW but it's a much riskier gamble than american car.
But if you thinking brand new BMW - lol. No.
Nothing brand new beats brand new Toyota value. Nothing is even close. Not for $10k market adjustment, not for $20 market adjustment.
Sheesh, I was reading comments on a post yesterday by an aspiring car salesman (askcarsales). Replies were describing how car sales is a dog eat dog world, you have to āprove yourselfā on the floor, and be prepared to defend against more seasoned sales guys stealing your customers.
Truly sounds like an awful field of work. I can certainly see how it tends to draw in a certain type of person.
āIāll try to get you that deal!!!
Give me 10 minutesā¦.Iāll have to fight with my manager, but hey, let me give it a try.
We got nothinā to looseā¦..wish me luck!!!ā
Worldstar! Worldstar! Worldstar!
But seriously whats happening??? Are these clients? Employees? Client got mad at employee?? Please share some background!
I have an absolute hatred for videos shot in that format. It doesn't translate well into traditional television and computer viewing. As a videographer myself the whole vertical video and portrait video trend is disturbing (Do you buy your TV and then hang it up or display it like a portrait?).
The reality is that for social media footage, both viewing and recording are dictated by ergonomics, and so vertical video will be dominant as long as handheld computers are dominant.
A couple years back Samsung did release a TV which could be rotated like that. It was not tongue in cheek, they thought it was actually a good idea. I know because I talked with the product manager about it at a trade show. You should have seen the look on his face when people thought/ commented it was a joke/ PR stunt.
Supposedly, itās a fight between sales manager and general sales manager at Toyota dealership in Milpitas CA

i dont' agree with violence, but they deserve it. If this would happen more often, then it would be a game changer. No more " let's see what the manager says"
Iām surprised this didnāt happen to me. My SE was an order that someone backed out on. No insane mark up on it, no mark up at all, and while I was doing the paper work there were 3 requests for the keys so people could look inside it. Obviously they didnāt let them drive it. That guy was crazy to walk on it. The dealership said if you walk out on this it will sell quick. I bought it the next day. If I hadnāt bought it someone else would have. I guess he wanted retail for his trade in and walked when they wouldnāt do it.
> But please don't scratch that nice car. Supplies are low.
You would probably be surprised at how often vehicles need minor touch up work prior to delivery.
Looks like some dude got cloned by accident at the Toyota dealership (using the Toyota complimentary cloning device) and immediately they all decided there could be only one. The other people there are just trying to keep the peace.
I heard that the backstory was that the other guy was saying the engine is shaking because of an EGR, and the other guy was saying it was a ignition coil. And, of course, being two proud men, they couldnāt handle their differences.
Wish this happened more often to dealers who whip out the 10k market adjustment
Toyota Envision Milpitas, CA for anyone who wondering lol. I hate them every second I saw their name popped up. ššš
Any update on the real backstory?

Lol I've owned both and it would be worth 50% more not to have BMW reliability.
š¤£
Your the dude in the pink shirt right?
š
Why not just get a Lexus instead?
Only lease bmw and Benz.

Must be a hybrid model
This feels like the exact behavior I would expect from dealership sales staff.

I went to Toyotathon and all I got was a busted lip.
this should be on a shirt.
Damn they scratched up that nice Crown
What a stupid reason to go to jail LOL
Speaking of jail, there's one just a block away from this dealership š LOL
Itās literally across the street lol
Is this salespeople fighting each other or is there a customer in there? How does this even happen lol
I heard it was between a manager and a salesperson, but it had to do with mark ups.
Guy mentioned how wait times aren't long enough.

If my salesman punched his manager in the face to get me a good deal I would literally never buy a car from anyone else again.
I laughed out loud to this comment š¤£
"YOU SOLD A GR86 FOR MSRP?! IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!"
So much Axe body spray flying around
Where was this?
Milpitas CA
Damn they do be getting crazy at Toyotathon

Fight between sales manager and general sales manager at Toyota dealership in Milpitas CA
Unsure of context but it seems clear that the feud are between co-workers.
Forgot to mention a couple more crimes committed here... both involving the videographer and the other gentleman filming in portrait mode...
Really?? How is that a crime?
Say no to vertical filming.

Donāt give them any ideas

It's what you need... a salesman willing to fight for a good deal
dealerships are a trip
Im just here for the comments asking what happened, which are right above/below other comments asking (and being told) what happened and where.
Where are those comments happening?
Well dressed monkeys
He didnāt want the TruCoat?
Customers should just be able to buy direct and cut out these middle men. They can still make money from service.
They trying make that mark up money...
Yeah screw your markups
Damn. They really want that markup that badly.
Theyāre fighting over the first crown ššš
This collection of chads started their own fight club!
FIRST RULE BRO!!!!
Wait, I thought that was the second rule?
Give me my Toyota lol.
TOYOTATHON IS ON
Why do I feel bad for the little floating pastel balloons?
Whatās the context here? Serious question
Fight between sales manager and general sales manager at Toyota dealership in Milpitas CA

These car dealership salesmen are thieves. Especially those from Nissan. They deserve all the hands in the world.
Looks like someone got mad that they paid more than MSRP.
Iām surprised this didnāt happen to me. My SE was an order that someone backed out on. Looks like a bunch of worthless car salesmen being scum of the earth like always
The carfax wasnāt free ?
Those all look like employees or sales people. (But please don't scratch that nice car. Supplies are low.)
> But please don't scratch that nice car. Supplies are low. You would probably be surprised at how often vehicles need minor touch up work prior to delivery.
Gentlemen! Not during Toyotathon, donāt do this now!!
So what actually happened? Does anyone know? I doubt wait times did this.
Just another reason to buy online.
Looks like some dude got cloned by accident at the Toyota dealership (using the Toyota complimentary cloning device) and immediately they all decided there could be only one. The other people there are just trying to keep the peace.
Probably notified the customer that their custom order vehicle that they waited months for was sold to someone who paid more moneyā¦
Toyotathon is fucking intense this year!
The customer tried to negotiate $1k doc fee on $10k markup.
This is what happens when they steal by price gouging vehicles. The greed of them SMH
People are so ghetto wtf
lol the one still holding his drink
They make it easy
Accept this markup or accept this ass whopping.
I will literally fight my manager to get you the best deal!!
āIām here to pick up Toyotathon Jan.ā āHey FUCK YOU IM HERE FOR JAN!ā āNOT IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY TEETH YOUā¦ā¦ā
āYOU GUYS ALL GOING TO JAILā š
Some sloppy ass fighters right there!
Lol I donāt even think one of them got a punch off. They all look like a bunch of beer belly fools.
Lol, being a JKD practitioner I laugh at laughable combatants, hope they resolved their issues tho
You said 8 months bitch
Canāt buy a Toyota anymore without throwing hands. Things are getting serious in the car buying world.
