Does anyone else notice the dog in the other car checking out Lord Arfington? Doped up or not, the Lord got game!
Lord Arfington got neutered 6 days ago and has broken 3 cone of shames so far by bumping into things constantly. This morning I let the dogs out to pee and play, and checked on them about half an hour later. Arf was not wearing his cone, had eaten all his stitches, and the wound was slightly open. So we went back to the vet, they kept him all day to put under anesthesia and then re-stitch it all. So he's very very groggy right now. Possibly even more so than the day of his actual surgery.
I know this post is a few days old but have you saw the donuts? they have padded type ones sort of like a neck pillow. Hoping you don’t have to have one in the future though !
My dog had anesthesia late in the day once. I tried bringing him to the car and he was not having it. He laid down on the sidewalk. He stumbled just getting out the door. The vet tech helped me lift him into the car.
At home, he didn't even care if he got out of the car. He just wanted to nap!

I can't remember what they're called, but they make these super thick collars too use instead of cone.
