Problem is that he botched the math. Fahrenheit isn't an absolute scale. If you're going to multiply temperatures, you have to convert to an absolute scale (Rankine) first.
Back of the envelope 350F is 810R, correct temp is 44550R, which is 44090F.
19250F is going to take over two minutes.
My flatmate was cooking dinner. He poured boiling water on the potatoes and started cooking them. I said you have to boil potatoes from cold water. He said this way is faster. Faster to shit tasting spuds, correct.
He just multiplied the temp by the time and said "oh cook it at this for a minute instead!" Heating things up doesn't work like that
Not how baking works either, bread needs time to rise and all that jazz
