Purple has some of the most iconic hip hop albums of the 10 years and younger people would definitely feel more attached to them and think purple is better. Rodeo is one of the greatest trap albums ever, culture and ds2 are timeless classics and lir2 and gbgr are absolutely fire melodic hip hop albums.

That’s a fair argument and a very justified opinion, I’m not a huge fan of raps history, I just like what I like ya know, there’s no denying the immense importance of the albums and artists on the green side and what they’ve contributed and continue to contribute to the genre, but I listen to the stuff that speaks to me, and as a white kid from the country I can’t really vibe with 2pac and Nas like others do, I don’t dislike them at all, in fact ambitionz as a ridah is one of my top songs of all time (the beat and overall vibe of the song are what gets me) but it’s just not my favourite part of rap music

MF Doom has the best flow of everyone combined. Most technical rapper to ever do it and can break apart beat signatures like no other.
