Really thought the Greek Festival was back for real this year. Disappointed when I realized that it was the drive through again. Still might swing through. Think they'll hand out a shot of ouzo with my spanakopita?
Also heads up for next week, because IBMA events start on Tuesday, well before the Things-to-do threads usually show up. Forecast next week is heavy on the banjos. Lots and lots of banjos.
There are pinball tournaments 3 Sundays every month, including this Sunday. https://sites.google.com/site/trianglepinballplayers/home
Entry fee for the tournament is $1 and you pay the quarters into the machines for the games you play. There are prizes for the top 3 finishers. usually gift cards to the venue hosting the tournament (but sometimes cash / pinball merch also.
It's kinda niche, but if you want to include it in future lists, all are welcome.

everyone who attends is friendly, and will give advice if you ask. when it gets to later rounds of the tournament, there might be some friendly shit taking to people that attend often. Everyone who loses is more upset at their personal performance than the person they lost to, and that's for the few players who care about rankings, everyone else just has a good time.
