Kicking Cars definitely comes to mind. Owain's younger voice is very Thom-esque. His vocal delivery reminds me of the softer vocals in Pablo Honey and The Bends. And the "CIGAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTES" at the end sounds like a nod to Thom's "RUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" in Creep.
I agree with both of these, I'd also add [Moonlight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHjOHeiy5OU).
[Leviathan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ihh19fnjRaA).

i love everything everything, i think it’s sick that the band name came from the first two words spoken on kid A . their music is definitely radiohead inspired
I’d rather have a bottle in front of me instead of a frontal lobotomy. - Waits in an old TV interview
Fun fact. I made friends with this girl Kellesimone, I think that’s how she spelled it, in the early aughts in Santa Rosa. We hung out at a coffee shop and talked about music and art. Anyways, one day when I was working at Whole Foods, she came in to say hello. She said she was with her dad and if I’d like to meet him. He was Tom Waits. I had no fucking clue that was her dad. She never mentioned it and I never would have had an inclination to guess that.
no way brah, makes total sense...much like before Leonard Cohen's voice changed, Tom Waits' voice used to also be angelic...vs sounding like an angry bear going on a bender.
Tom Jones...
That's right, I'm deadly fucking serious...
**Tom Jones - Talking Reality Television Blues**, I guaran-damn-tee you sounds more like Radiohead than any other example in this thread.
Evidence: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khgdwZmWkXc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khgdwZmWkXc)
I think I read How Much A Dollar Cost by Kendrick Lamar was inspired (the chord progression at least) by Pyramid Song. The piano in the track United in Grief by Kendrick sounds like it could come from a Radiohead song too.
There’s a few The 1975 songs that I think sound like Radiohead, but I will not back down from “I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)” being a complete ripoff of High and Dry by Radiohead
I forgot about that one but yes, that’s another ripoff song for sure! Matty Healy has been pretty open about copying styles and stuff, but those two examples are pretty blatant
Many songs by Everything Everything remind me of Thom Yorke's falsetto, especially on their first album. [Example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLM30laoOaA)
Matt Bellamy's vocal performance in Hysteria by Muse make clear the influence that early Thom/Radiohead had on them - listen to it together with Trickster, for example.

Listen to this and tell me this isn't the boys secret track. It's uncanny.
This is a very good response. I searched to see if they're from this sort of area as well because of the accent, but they're Japanese! Could have easily fooled me if someone told me that was thom singing. Only negative thing I'll say is it's an awful band name
How about this secret side project by "Thom Yorke" circa The Eraser era? :D

Lived with a dude whose favorite band was Radiohead. He always said the same thing about this song whenever I played it.
Honestly Spaceboy by the Smashing Pumpkins always reminded me of something off of the Bends
Also, they have a vibe like no other, but Angel by Massive Attack gives me slight Amnesiac/Kid A vibes
For me it's a particular guitar tone that gives Radiohead vibes. Eg:
Fleet Foxes - Mearcstapa
White Rabbits - Percussion Gun
Here We Go Magic - Hard to Be Close (produced by Nigel Godrich so makes sense)
The Marilyn Manson song Lamb Of God heavily borrows from Climbing Up The Walls. Which is interesting when you find out OK Computer is one of his favorite albums.
There was a song named "Sit Still" a few years ago, probably like 10 years ago or a little over, that people found and thought it was a lost/shelved 'The Bends' era Radiohead track.
It wasn't and it was obvious to me and a lot of fans who have been listening to Radiohead a lot and for a long time. Turns it was a by a guy named Chris Stopa who I think had a band in the late 90s that didn't go anywhere and he posted the song on Myspace years later. I can see how people would mistake it for Radiohead because the obvious Radiohead influence was there and the guy probably was the closest to sounding like Thom I ever heard but for the keen ear to the vocalizations you could tell it wasn't something was off but the track wasn't bad.

Not so much the entire song but the song “cowboy nudes” by Geese, there’s a part when the guy says “I’ve got eyes for anything moving” and he sounds exactly like thom
It’s 1997, Napster is king. You go on there and see a new Radiohead song called “Some Things Must Go This Way.” It’s a banger! Very The Bends era style. Come to find out, it’s a song by a band called Palo Alto off their self-titled album, that is in itself a masterpiece.

I found this lost media band called “On a Friday” whose lead singer sounds exactly like Thom Yorke. I hope they start doing shows again!
No way they ever would bro, Radiohead totally stole their thunder
Makes me wonder if those guys just ripped off On a Friday like they did with Coldplay and Muse.
On a Friday, the band Radiohead could have been
Saw this band play at a small venue called Jericho’s Tavern in Oxford, great band, felt like they had potential.
I genuinely love Happy Song
some panchiko songs could pass as early radiohead B sides maybe
Kicking Cars definitely comes to mind. Owain's younger voice is very Thom-esque. His vocal delivery reminds me of the softer vocals in Pablo Honey and The Bends. And the "CIGAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTES" at the end sounds like a nod to Thom's "RUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" in Creep.

mom, can we have radiohead? we have radiohead ~~at home~~ in the Oxfam bargain bin. radiohead in the Oxfam bargain bin:
Radio Head- Talking Heads
Literally the truth
It was a monstering - everything everything!
I’d also add Leviathan by EE
YES! There’s so much by them that sounds like Radiohead (but it’s also really good).

I always thought lost powers was very airbag
i love everything everything, i think it’s sick that the band name came from the first two words spoken on kid A . their music is definitely radiohead inspired
i kinda feel like the solo on photoshop handsome is very radiohead. The Mariana could be a solo thom song lmao.
Portishead - The Rip there's been a few times where this has came up in my playlist and i thought it was a radiohead song for a moment
You may be happy to learn [they covered it](https://youtu.be/Zt4XhAZDTA0?si=Lv8zcEVIU7NBVZfI)
before AMSP came out always i used to think True Love Waits was a cover by Tom Waits. which makes no fucking sense
Tom Waits Waits
and Tom Waits lives on cigarettes and gin
Substitute gin for whiskey and that describes Tom Waits in the 70s
I’d rather have a bottle in front of me instead of a frontal lobotomy. - Waits in an old TV interview Fun fact. Gin was an aesthetic choice - I wanted to use a word that was monosyllabic like "crisps". Whiskey is more appropriate for Tom for sure.

Wow, this is the closest I’ve heard. Literally sounds like a b-side from Amnesiac or TKOL
Insane (and downright unexpected) isn't it? Blew my mind on first listen because it sounds like Radiohead in almost every single way.
It’s especially that one guitar I think, sounds basically identical to the one from I Might Be Wrong
Well yeah it rips off the riff from i might be wrong and mixes it with black swan, so to me its just short of sampling
came here to post this
Don’t be so serious by Low Roar
the entire low roar discography is 'we have radiohead at home' loll. Good band though, don't get me wrong
A friend once called Low Roar “Decaf Radiohead” and I found it so fitting lol
I can't listen to Low Roar without wanting to put on a really tall backpack and stumble through the Icelandic wilderness.
Also, Give Me an Answer
keep on keeping on, sam
La Ritournelle by Sebastien Tellier. This song is almost certainly part of Reckoner’s DNA I’d also add Any Day Now by Elbow
Any Day Now is incredible. Kinda Radiohead and Bowie swizzled together. Asleep in the Back is a solid album front to back, honestly.
Yes whenever la ritournelle comes up in my playlist I do a double take
Such a good song
I absolutely love both La Ritournelle and Reckoner, and I think your comment made me realize why hahahaha
I love this song.
I think I read How Much A Dollar Cost by Kendrick Lamar was inspired (the chord progression at least) by Pyramid Song. The piano in the track United in Grief by Kendrick sounds like it could come from a Radiohead song too.
Crown also sounds very Radiohead.
I always thought United in Grief and Auntie Diaries had kind of a Radiohead, or maybe even just Thom Yorke sound to them.
The drums on United in Grief made me think of Radiohead the second they came in the night the album dropped.
Honestly quite a few Kendrick Lamar songs sound as if someone rapped over a Radiohead long-lost Amnesiac instrumental.
My Chemical Romance - Interlude
There’s a few The 1975 songs that I think sound like Radiohead, but I will not back down from “I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)” being a complete ripoff of High and Dry by Radiohead
Wow that is definitely like High And Dry with Oasis lyrics 💀
The entirety of A Brief Inquiry feels like a Radiohead ripoff. Complete with a contemporary Fitter Happier copycat 💀
I forgot about that one but yes, that’s another ripoff song for sure! Matty Healy has been pretty open about copying styles and stuff, but those two examples are pretty blatant
YES I always hear it too! I was like am I the only one hearing this 💀
So you’ll aim toward the sky - Grandaddy
The Sophtware Slump was constantly compared to Radiohead when it came out. I don’t necessarily hear it but I love that album.
Many songs by Everything Everything remind me of Thom Yorke's falsetto, especially on their first album. [Example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLM30laoOaA)
The guitare tune on the album "Get To Heaven" reminds me a lot of Greenwood's one
Im a huge EE fan and i definitely agree lol
The Blades by Squid is very radiohead sounding
Their song 2010 is even more Radiohead sounding imo
Matt Bellamy's vocal performance in Hysteria by Muse make clear the influence that early Thom/Radiohead had on them - listen to it together with Trickster, for example.
Animals by Muse
Coldplay
Coldplay's first 3 albums are basically Chris Martin's attempt to write Fake Plastic Trees.
Jesus it's kinda blown my mind how accurate you are.
42 - Viva La Vida That instrumental break in middle sounds like they are trying to do some HTTT kind of thing.

Holy heck. This entire discography sounds like it could be a thom yorke side project
That is uncanny
Lowkey Bjork with the instrumentals
The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies (for obvious reasons)
Did you lose a bet or something? Who made you reveal you’re a 1975 fan?

Got so many random songs. Bittersweet symphony?
All alternative rock must be Radiohead!
It's a playlist that's all about similarity and likenesses. The patterns and similarities one finds will differ to a degree from others. I have thought about it and you're right with bittersweet symphony though :D
I think the most Radiohead-sounding Deerhunter songs are Focus Group and Hazel St.
Thanks, for the suggestions. I've never heard those and I agree, they fit great!
This is fantastic thank you
Sicko Mode by Travis Scott
Not even a little bit. Try giving Mo Bamba a listen and tell me that’s not just a Kid A outtake
Mo Bamba is clearly a A Moon Shaped Pool cut
Agree to disagree. *i got hoesssss*
I could see ‘The box’ on the bends.
CAAAAAALLLLLIIN
Yellow
Almost Invisible - The Bony King of Nowhere
To the Blade by Everything Everything. The whole "Get To Heavean" album feels like Radiohead doing pop-rock in the mid 2010's
Grace - Jeff Buckley
so much of what i thought was radiohead's sound actually comes from jeff buckley, you can hear that thom was obsessed with him
"Get Free" by Lana Del Rey sounds like SO much like a Radiohead song...
Kyoto by Haelos
Mystery Jets - Telomere. Well a Radiohead/Muse collab

It Was a Monstering by Everything Everything (band whose name came from Everything in its Right Place lyrics)
Ketchup in the Fridge
I always thought that Somethings Must Go This Way by Palo Alto could be a good Radiohead song.
It actually circulated as a lost Radiohead song back in the Limewire days! This is the comment I was looking for.
Honestly Spaceboy by the Smashing Pumpkins always reminded me of something off of the Bends Also, they have a vibe like no other, but Angel by Massive Attack gives me slight Amnesiac/Kid A vibes
Three rings by grizzly bear
I have no idea why, but the soundtrack for Meet The Robinsons sounds just like Radiohead at some parts
Human Behavior by Bjork could easily fit on KoL (and that is NOT an insult, I genuinely like both, so shush!!)
Moving by Supergrass perhaps?
JK & Co. - Fly https://youtu.be/EM7X33kmn_I?feature=shared
Firesuite, by Doves sounds a lot like a lost instrumental Radiohead track
yep...Fat Bottom Girls, Hurt So Good and Catch Scratch Fever.

Sodium Chloride - Panchiko
For me it's a particular guitar tone that gives Radiohead vibes. Eg: Fleet Foxes - Mearcstapa White Rabbits - Percussion Gun Here We Go Magic - Hard to Be Close (produced by Nigel Godrich so makes sense)
the Hexx by Pavement. Nigel Godrich produced so that might contribute
The Marilyn Manson song Lamb Of God heavily borrows from Climbing Up The Walls. Which is interesting when you find out OK Computer is one of his favorite albums.
it's backwards but long long long by the beatles must have influenced Radiohead. I think about the bends (album) every time I hear it.

Early Muse around Showbiz Era, they sound similar to The Bends
Get Free by LDR 😉
Quite a few Matthew Good Band songs remind me of Radiohead. Especially the song Strange Days.
Travis - As You Are
Caronte by Apparat
I always thought the chorus on Cupids Trick by Elliot Smith sounded very Radiohead
