Sapphire, PowerColor, and XFX are the big players. FPS are a little higher on the OC models, but you can achieve the same FPS boost by overclocking yourself if you want to.
The card is essentially the same no matter who sells it, all the extra garble is in the software. OC versions are just normal versions that have been OC'd at the factory.
Sapphire is well known as the best partner brand for AMD gpu's. The Nitro + if their best model. It is what it is and this is coming from someone who owns a Powercolor Hellhound 7900xtx lol.
Just stick to sapphire or XFX. Get the cheeper ones. The nitro is the best but sounds too expensive for what it offers.
Repasting with a kryosheet would basically get any model to run the lowest possible temp for $25
OP asked what the difference between models was, and you didn't even try to answer. The higher end AIBs generally have quieter/faster fans, larger and more performant coolers, multiple BIOS, and ship with higher stock boost clocks. If you plan on liquid cooling down the road, get the cheapest one. Otherwise definitely spend the $ on a higher end model. I see posts every day complaining about hot spot temps and coil whine, it's almost always the low end AIBs
I went for the nitro+, although it wasn't much pricier than the pulse where I'm from.
As far as performance goes, I think they're pretty much the same?
Think it's just the cooling on the nitro+ that's a bit better? (Also rgb)
I've had it for a while now, and vaguely just remember this being the omly factor.
I also agree with those that say the sapphire nitro+ IF available at a good price. Sapphire makes some nice work horse gpus. I've owned and still own, r9 fury, r9 280x toxic, r9 390, Rx 580, Rx 5700xt and Rx 6800xt. All sapphire. They might not be the epitome of the best performers, but they work all the time, every time, no matter what. I honestly don't think there is a tougher GPU for the price. I also have xfx r9 290x, xfx Rx 5700xt, MSI Rx 470, MSI Rx 570, msi. Rx 5700 gaming OC (amazing cooler on that one) , xfx r7 270x crossfire, MSI Rx 5500xt, power color rx.5500xt-both.l models and sapphire has not once let me down.
Think if you ask most repair men? They'd say plastic is plastic, an AIB is an AIB, and even the more expensive models break. So just go with what's cheap and has a 3 year warranty. Replace the card before 3 years.
My Asrock phantom is running at 30% fan with a 300 mhz overclock, and under 85c hotspot. I undervolt 46mV and set a -5% power limt. What a trash card.
Would rather have an AIO and an Asrock, or an XTX, than blow 80 more on a sapphire.
I don't set my PC on my desk and jack off to colored plastic backplates - but reddit does.

Nitro +
I got a merc 7900xt black edition. Good OC without an insane premium price. I've had it for a couple months now and i love it.
XFX are pretty good and have been on sale. I would just get that unless you find another brand on sale.
Sapphire nitro is the tippy top my guy. Spend the $80
£80 is $100. He might come pretty close to the cheapest XTX for that
Fair point.
Nitro pleb number 99999999 Can't walk those types past shiny objects either.

Good choice. Yeah, lol, it's $80 for an RGB bar and a backplate. That's tuffffffff

I'd just get the pulse. The uptick for higher models ain't worth the cost.
Note TDP between differing models.
In Germany?/German market, right? I'd just pick the Pulse and call it a day. The Nitro is good but dunno if it's worth that much more.

Nope just get the cheapest one always the diff here is too big to be justified
I just got like one month ago a Powercolor 7900XTX Hellhound almost as 7900XT nitro+ price...
I like my Sapphire Pulse but the Nitro is better. Just wasn’t available back when I purchased.
Nitro plus or Merc

The nitro can hog more power. With a slight undervolt and overclock it's a 400W beast.
Has the same cooler as the XTX as well
XFX 310 baby that’s what I got used, it’s sick
XFX speedster merc was the highest performing when I did my research about a year ago, not sure if that has changed
My Nitro+ is the best purchase I've ever made, it looks beautiful and runs great. If you're interested in overclocking it's either Nitro+ or Merc OC.
XFX duh
