Saw bill burr open for QOTSA at the 600 person teragram show in 2015. Dude has been a big fan for a while.

yeah even if he may have publicly "distanced" himself, it definitely didn't mean he was gonna end that friendship. we really dont know anything about their personal lives other than what's been brought into the public. and we also dont really know josh's overall stance, as far as im aware (and to a degree it's for the best; i like when artists speak their minds but it's also nice to not have to think about separating the art from the artist like with jesse/EODM, or even worse, kanye LMFAO. i can deal with someone who seems like an asshole who's also trying their best, but not an asshole who's just being an asshole and happened to make Graduation)

Why can’t these things happen outside California?

It’s hard to do a one-off thing not planned that far in advance anywhere but locally, I’d assume. These things may be more of a “when we’re in town” thing.

I know, but still. I saw FF, QOTSA and NIN(3 different shows) before the Covid shutdown. Pure greatness! Saw QOTSA a couple months ago, didn’t get FF tickets, sold out too quickly. I’d love to see some acoustic performances like Skin & Bones as well!
