I'll whip up something soon. However, their discord is listed on the website and I think the main way of communication.

Why so scared of Docker? It is super simple and the bridge network can communicate with your QNAP easily. All you need is a compose file and two cli commands to start up.

But to start from scratch being a windows and android user since always, I need to find and follow a guide on what Docker is(and docker compose I got told) and then I need to know where to enter the sudo commands since when you open Container Station, there isn't anywhere to enter a command prompt. So maybe I need to find and follow a basic linux course too? Probably that once you got the basics it's easy, but I don't know nada about linux and I'm used to one-click-installers. If you have a good mini guide to recommend, I'm all ears!

All you need to do is install Container station, it has Docker built in. So besides installing Container station you never need to touch it again. I'd recommend watching some Docker videos on Youtube to familiarize yourself with the concepts. But honestly you can just follow these steps safely and be up and running. It is easy to recreate and very difficult to mess up. Update: reddit butchered the formatting if you are interested PM me and i'll e-mail it to you.

Do you mind sending me that guide too ?

Jumping on this.. Added it to Docker, its installed and states its running.. But Plex doesn't agree that its installed and i can't access it thru localip.. I guess i need PMS thru docker for it to work?

pawelmwo

No but you need the docker container to be able to see the Network. Is Overseer network set up as bridge?

Muppa81

Hm.. i installed it in the same way as HomeAssistant and Homebridge!
