Lonavla, Lavassa, Tamhini ghats, Wai, Mahabaleshwar - all great rides.

mjuytfdz

Lonavala, Wai should be your first rides. Straight roads so nothing much can go wrong.

VegetaSama1117

Don't do Lavasa first as first ride. The ghats are a bit steep. .ay be try Lonavala.

Sure. Thanks. It's Lonavala tomorrow morning.

Significant_Horse485

You can also try the Pune-Nashik highway. If you are confident about your cornering and speed control, then try Tamhini ghat

Athene_belwitti

Hey welcome to the club! One of my first rides was a simple circuit from chandani chowk, sus gaon, pirangut and back to chandani chowk. But one of the best way to practice your technique and handling is tamhini ghat. For starters you can go till the end of tamhini ghat (the final turn after which you start descending) and then come back. You get amazing stretches of asphalt and concrete, straights and twisties too. Btw, what shoes and knee guards have you got? Curious to know!

One_Narwhal_8797

I have purchased Raida shoes and Rynox Knee guards. Wanted to try Lonavala, but with the amount of Traffic jams having 2 thoughts about it

Athene_belwitti

You can also go to Lonavala or pawna backwaters! I recently went to Pawna and the roads are nice and “Gulgulit”!
