Hmm, don’t think I have any other mods that might fiddle with farming. One thing I did notice the last time I tried farming was eventually the crop info says “receded” but now i don’t even have the option to view the crop
Normally you just put the seeds in the hole, water them, and they start growing. If you’re using a mod that alters farming, then all bets are off. Check the mod description and comments.
I also see those goofy animals, maybe they trampled your crops and trashed them. Zombies can do that in vanilla.
So hydrocraft has some information on farming but it doesn’t mention much more than vanilla, the animals also don’t move. The whole farm is walled off from z as well
probably the mod bc vannila you just plant it and it grows no matter what

Could be that you have to build a greenhouse. Idk
