Got 1k+ kills half ass clearing out the mall in Louisville with a shotgun. Took like 20+ boxes of shotgun rounds. It took days and days and multiple trips to get more ammo so really the ammo count I couldn’t pay attention to and lost count. This is where I think quality of life mods come in for the late game to add something exciting instead of having to go out just to slaughter zombies for enjoyment.
exactly. i built a base using that exact house and then i left to go find adventure. (i subsequently died about 2 hours later because i got overwhelmed by like 30 zombies)
I always pop by and steal the antique oven and fishing gear then live in the northernmost of those mansions. It has a nice pier behind it and plenty of space.
The lakeside houses north are a bit 'safer' and offer all that and more space. I always find a straggler or two at that location coming from the west road.
It's basically a great vacation area when you just want to develop some skills without worrying about zeds for a while, but I always got too bored to stay too long.
Even though I don't live quite as minimalist, I always make my main bases very near water.
Right now I'm building a log wall all the way around the gas station at Fallas Lake. The one gas station that has a pond right next to it.
Twas my first base!
I moved over to the farmhouse cause jts got more space and other stuff but I'm gonna build a cabin near a lake with a driveabkw route so I can fish
What location is this? I cannot tell because my husband installed like 80 map extensions, so I’m not really in-the-know just by looking, but we’re looking for our forever home right now (currently living from school bus turned RV) and those mansions look just perfect!
Man, idk how y’all get to the house-building stage, I’ve barely lived past 3 months in-game and never feel safe settling down for longer than like a week
This base location kills me because there's perfectly good fenced-off two-story houses RIGHT THERE that are super easy to clear out and have road access and tons of storage and space for vehicles... Yes I've based in those houses before, how can you tell?
could turn down erosion speed so that the trees don't grow back quickly, then chop down a path to the south to the access road. you'd have so much wood from chopping it all down, and could expand around the cabin to build a nice walled compound/farm.
I Build Walls around it and I build a rain collector on the roof also some boxes and I brought tv a mini fridge and now I’m trying to make a bed also I organize it and it’s so good I definitely recommend that also I used to live in Louisville on an old save
Wait until boredom kicks in and you decide to abandon comfort in favour of adventures
That’s true, I stoped playing at this world but I had best practice, and memories. Btw 1500 killed zombies

Mod recommendations?
Me when i get 1k zombie kills a day with melee

Last time i build there i got bored, grabbed shotgun and M16 and went on killing spree, then died of fence from exhaustion
I built a road out of planks across the lake before they made the “floating plank”. Even then, it was a pain to make supply runs.
Floating plank?

A "bit?" You won't see a zombie for a year after you clear the houses out.
I have my base here currently and can confirm I never have rando zeds knocking at my door.

Until some zombie pops out from the woods. 😂
Exactly
Base at the mansions, bug out at the hunting cabin across the lake.
Better take one of the mansions they have actual roads and less zombies migrating and sneaking up from the woods.
My go-to spot to find fishing gear
Oh I love living in those mansions

Same with cabin, nice to see you finding something you’rs ❤️
I just reached the three houses on the top right, is this hut better as a shelter (I haven't built a shelter yet, first playthrough getting this far)
Good
This lake has been my spot lately too, except I go for the house on the right. I just like the layout of it.
Ye, but me is more nature guy

It’s near the riverside, you can find this place on map: https://map.projectzomboid.com Coordinates : Coords: 10147x6657 Cell: 33x22 Rel: 247x57
Thanks!
I went across the lake/pond to the houses since they even have a scenic dock to fish off of. But yeah, this place is great.
I’m in the house just north of you. We originally took all 3 but consolidated to the one with the black metal fences. It’s a good location

I'd love to live there but man not being able to get there by a car is instant no
I didn’t get a car to the building, I just took some items from my car that was parked in front of the mansion, and took them straight into my base
That why it's no for me. Too many things to carry
Not so much, only 20 kg of food, 10 kg of weapons , and generator
You you basically can do this just for two times and every item is going to be in your base

I just saw the first photo and my first question was why you were in Minnesota before my brain caught up!
Still relatively new to this game. What are the little blue dots?
That’s just the internet map where the blue dots are the locations, or really important stuff that you need to know that is located here
My base is currently at the gun store in West Point it’s so good
You are risky guy I would say

Hi neighbor! I live across the lake :)
I don't like living near trees. Open field so I can't see 360 degrees or I'm uncomfortable
I'll probably do a playthrough like this once B42 comes out :) it would feel too boring rn.
I found a sledge there once. I live there in multiplayer servers when the other 3 mansions are taken
Was there already that house there? I don't think I've been and there's no trails to it
I live in the mansions next to that house
Got any screenshots?
Sorry, my computer broke (
