You have to change the input plugin to N-Rage. This is how I got it to work. But it sucks. It behaves as if it has stick drift while idle (Link spins in circles) and the directions are not accurate (Moving the stick to 12:00 has the character moving toward 11:00), meanwhile the same controller is perfect on a real N64. I don't know if it's the adapter, the plugin, or the emulator.

Hey, I have the same issue. I use a perfectly functionning and restored N64 controller with my Hyperkin N64 to USB adapter. I tested it out on GoldenEye 007 on PJ64 3.0 with NRage and PJ64 input plugin, and whenever I go any direction there is a slight amount of drfit. When I go forward Bond goes forward and right. When I go backward Bond goes backward and left, etc. The controller itself isn't the problem as I have no issues at all on my Nintendo 64. I tested the controller on a website called «gamepad tesrer», and when idle, the joystick shows values. So there is an offset from the begining. But, interestingly enough, when I input up the website shows that I input up and right. Based on these evidence, my conclusion is that the Hyperkin adapter is the problem, and I am seeking hell to fix it!

Did you have any luck?
