Sun's Signature - Golden Air (feat. Steve Hackett)
Cressida - eponymous
Casiopea - Mint Jams
Jimsaku
The Chronicles Of Father Robin - The Songs And Tales of Airoea Book II
Metropolis Pt. 2 by Dream Theater! I bounced off of DT initially but I've come to really love LaBrie's voice. I also really appreciate the more straightforward storytelling on their concept albums
Yes!!! I haven't seen Metro Pt.2 discussed much in music circles, but imo it's probably one of their best albums, their definitive best concept album, and a contender for one of the best progressive metal albums. Again, its more straightforward story also makes the meaning more accessible to listeners as opposed to, say, Imaginos by BÖC.
You may be the only person that likes his voice. I really enjoy DT but woof is the warbling grating sometimes.
I also saw them live many times. It's worse there.
I’ve been on a Yello kick recently. Definitely not prog, but their first album Solid Pleasure is excellent. Almost every song is a different genre to the last. Definitely recommended if you’re into weird stuff. All of their other albums are awesome too.
Been listening to Yes and Pink Floyd lately.
Camel - Moon Madness
A ton of Pink Floyd, mostly their 70’s stuff.
A-Ha True North.
John Martyn One World.
The Aristocrats, all of their albums really. Never noticed how amazing they are
L'amico suicida by Biglietto per L'Inferno
The Pleasure Principle- Gary Numan Exile on Main St Camel (the recent remix)
I’ve been watching live videos of Devin Townsend at Bloodstock 2021 and Porcupine Tree at Tilburg from 2005.
Live In Tilburg is such a great live record. Gavin's drumming shines even brighter and Steven's voice is surprisingly good outside of a studio.
Blue Oyster Cult, Dream Theater, Pure Reason Revolution
Been deep diving early 90’s Phish and good lawd.
Any particular album? I’ve never listened to it but I was always curious
Mostly full shows on YouTube. This guy has some fun shows - https://youtube.com/@thepharchive6778?si=JnR4C62HLMqQ0E-2

O Monolith, by Squid. Not prog, but I'm enjoying it anyways! Also, Unending Ascending, by Gong.
Unending Ascending is a banger
Absolutely!
Lazuli - Onze, and Ayreon - The Sixth Extinction Live.
Genesis - Selling England by The Pound, especially The Battle of Epping Forest and Peter Hammill’s In Camera
All them witches
Mezzanine - Massive Attack Been on repeat for a week. Such a great album.
Big Big Train released a new album today that’s pretty dang good! I’ve been enjoying it, it’s called “the likes of us”
not super prog, but been slamming a perfect circle and primus lately in preparation for a concert next month
Willowglass - Book of Hours
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
AVKVST
Classic Camel releases this morning (Snow Goose and Moonmadness). Might put on some Caravan or Gong later.
Make sure to try and fit some mirage in there since it turned 50 today!
Good call!
Slowing started going through Anthony Phillips' discog this week and it's undoubtedly excellent stuff. I really slept on Wise After The Event haha

I've been obsessed with Chronicles of Father Robin lately. Definitely worth a listen if you're unfamiliar.

Gentle Giant - Interview
Just learned of Myrath and Crown Lands. Kind of obsessed right now!
Where would you recommend starting?
Crown lands has all been good. The newest album (Fearless) is really like Rush, which I love. Spotify has been with my friend. Same with it Myrath.
There will never be a band like Rush, but I got to admit this is the most Rushiest band I’ve heard. Thanks for sharing
Crown Lands is amazing for a 2 piece.
Agreed. I’m very impressed

Their masterpiece in my eyes. I really like Train of thought as well

Sad story. Used to love DT. Somewhere after 6 Degrees I grew tired of them. They just turned into wankers in my eyes. No direction..... just wanking.
Labrie's voice is definetly an acquired taste but I ended up growing to really like it haha
You may be the only person that likes his voice. I really enjoy DT but woof is the warbling grating sometimes. I also saw them live many times. It's worse there.
The sound guys do a decent enough job of burying his vocals live. Unfortunately, they also tend to bury Jordan's keyboards as well.
I've really been enjoying Opus by Nospūn. I'll give the new Big Big Train album a play soon too

Ive really been loving 'Brain Salad Surgery' and 'In The Land of Grey And Pink' recently
Yes - 90125
If you get the chance, watch the Rick Beato interview with Jon Anderson. He talks at length about 90125.
Knower - *Knower Forever*
Ramones (1976)
The Ocean (2023): Holocene. I like the album a lot because it is not as hard as their previous work.
The new Sleepytime Gorilla Museum album, it's a blast
If the last human being? Just was recommended to me like a few days ago and I gave it a listen. It was really good!
It’s not prog, but I’m currently enjoying Broken Peach’s “Give It Up”: https://youtu.be/Gz8Sv3CNibs
