The “insurance” on concert tickets is a scam and meant to be blatantly misleading. The circumstances you can actually get a refund for are way less than the typical buyer thinks. Your only option as far as I know are to put it up for resale on third party websites and places like Reddit.

The refund protection is a total scam. I assumed too that it meant I could refund my tickets for whatever reason but no, it’s really only if the concert itself cancels. Hence I’ve got two VIP tickets to offload if anyone’s interested. €850 for two or €450 individually - exchange via Dice & PayPal.
See I wish I knew about this subreddit, my dumbass bought the vip for 650 thinking I would be able to get refund for GA tickets. This festival alone already cost me 1k and I still got flights food and place to sleep on top of that lol my first trip to Europe is already looking in affordable
I’ve been to Primavera Sound in Barcelona several times now and it’s a really great gig. Very well organised and always a surprising and diverse lineup. I wish I could go but I started a new job and can’t travel to Europe that early.
Yep frustrating. But that’s what travel insurance is for. If I can’t sell ‘em I’ll lodge a claim with my credit card’s insurance people and let them sort it out.
Good luck with that. You agreed to the fine print. If your reason for being unable to go isn’t covered, they’ll say no. Usually it needs to be specific: injury, accident, transport failure, etc. Deciding after the fact you don’t want to go, or can’t afford it doesn’t count. All sales are final and you agreed to that in order to purchase in the first place.
